i am really enjoying my new job. i am finally getting to do what i have always wanted to, and my architectural license finally officially arrived in the mail. idk if anyone reads these little updates. i miss writing and i miss my tumblr writing friends and i hope i am not forgotten due to just...signing in and out whenever. i don't think many people are left, or maybe you don't remember me, because i do offer other contact information and no one really reaches out... and that's fine - but I am still around and I still want to write. I am just not letting it become another thing that feels like a job, not after I left my last workplace that made EVERYTHING including my hobbies feel like jobs. I hope that my few longtime rp partners are understanding of this. I do feel like my absence lets people down... but I want to continue this blog and my ocs for a while more... just please be patient with me and don't forget me.

I hope you don't mind me reblogging this but I totally remember this and Kathleen and writing with you. I had a lot of fun, and honestly my OC is a bit of a self insert in some ways too. Why not? Why should we not get to throw ourselves into the world of the fun movies we get to watch? She was an OC that began as a self-insert for the Marvel fandom, involved with an old RP group about the Avengers (and Loki) living in Stark Tower. She shared my name (Kathleen) and her FC was Alexis Bledel. She was an orphan whose aunt worked for SHIELD, and she was also empathic. A bit of a Mary Sue, honestly, but she was fun and she had a good time pestering @kneeltoyourking‘s Loki x’D

mmm so ive been watching the magicians and i really like the concept of a realm that is just a library with like ALL the knowledge ever (that eventually gets destroyed bc lbr that’s how that goes) and you have to have a library card to check out books and working as a librarian is an eternal deal that affects you even after death and and and the library has the most powerful knowledge locked away in a radioactive realm via a door and they call it the poison room and just

the entire concept was really NEAT and i am all about that? i kinda want to write it in my stuff but at the same time i feel the ‘no one cares’ struggle of creating things for new content that isnt canon and now im discouraged fml
