December greetings, Klaroline fandom!
We are providing this year’s winter exchange. Signups are from December 1st til December 10th (EST).
Never participated in one? No problem- all are welcome! We want to make the holidays a little more festive for everyone in the fandom.
To join the event, fill out our sign-up form detailing what you can gift and what you would like to receive. (Then, the rest is in our hands, sorting the best possible matches with the help of archiveforourown.)
We will reveal assignments two days after the sign-up deadline. We have allocated a little over a month for everyone to complete their assignment. If you have questions, our ask box is always open.
Participants must allow anonymous asks so others can send questions to clarify requests. Or get to know their giftee a little better.
A big rule of thumb, keep your matches a secret to prevent spoiling the experience! Let’s maintain the element of surprise leading up to the exchange reveal day.

Please help us celebrate the amazing work our incredibly talented fandom has done by nominating your favorite authors and their work!
Nominations Rules:
Please send your nominations via tumblr messaging and asks to @kcawards.
Please only vote once (if you use the anon ask route, we’re trusting you to not be a jerk by voting multiple times.)
Include the category, author name and work.
You can nominate the same author in multiple categories.
You can nominate up to three stories/authors in each category.
All nominated stories need to have been posted or updated between January 1, 2021, and the date in which you nominate the work.
Stories must be posted on either AO3 or FFnet.
Stories may be WIPs or complete.

Klaroline Chat Server
Come join our growing online community of Klaroliners age 18 and up! While we mainly ship KC, we welcome all ships from TVD/TO, no matter how out there they may be! (and some of the ones we see are really, really out there!) We also have a growing list of other fandoms we support and are open for suggestions! We have people from all over the world, so there’s always someone online to connect with.
What is Discord? Discord is a free chat app available on Linux/Windows/Mac, phones and tablets. It’s easy to sign up and totally free. We have a variety of text channels as well as group voice chat. We offer the following chats:
Main Chat – This is where we all hang out and can discuss basically anything.
Q&A – Ask your favorite authors questions, or answer questions your fans ask of you!
Fic Chat – Talk about your favorite fics, often with the author who wrote them!
Sneak Peeks – Get exclusive peeks of our work as we go along or post your own!
KC Fanart – Post your favorite aesthetics, edits or manips and drool over all the goodness.
Plot Bunnies – Floating a new idea or have an idea and want feedback? This is the chat for you.
Sprints – This is when we all get together for 30-60 minutes and share our word counts to keep each other motivated!
Miscellaneous Chats – We have channels to for pet pics, food, sports, music, memes, birthdays and more!
Other Fandoms – We currently have chats for Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Marvel, Criminal Minds, Pride & Prejudice and more! Don’t see one you like? Ask us and we’ll add it to the growing list!
Voice Chat - Come hang out with us in voice chat and talk about KC, your day, your fics or pretty much everything else you can come up with!
Why Should I Join? Because it’s fun! Our sole purpose to create a safe space where Klaroline fans can come together and hang out. Here are some of the wackier things that have happened on Klaroserver:

Laughing so hard we choke on things
A sassy Klarobot who likes making fun of our owners (much to their dismay)
Streaming parties where a group of people get together to watch a show at the same time and chat about it

Q&A sessions for fics – Any author in the server can ask for an event!
How do I sign up? All you have to do to make your free account is go to https://discord.com/download for Linux/PC/Mac and download the app. It will prompt you to sign up. If you’re on mobile, you can go to the Play Store or App Store and search “Discord.” It takes less than two minutes.
How do I get into Klaroserver? Use the link below and click Join. Once you’re in, an Admin will approve you. Just let us know if you prefer she/her, he/him or them/they so we know how to greet you!

Caroline in Wonderland FINAL
Chapter Three: Through the Looking Glass
“You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret: all the best people are.” - Lewis Carroll
Caroline thought she couldn’t breathe. Klaus stood before them, an enraged look upon his face as he glared at his sisters. He was frozen under the archway, his eyes continuing to be drawn to Caroline, causing his features to soften at the sight of her. He gripped a silver walking stick in his hand, his knuckles going pale as he held it tightly. He banged it against his foot slightly, almost as though to keep his frustration at bay. Caroline felt a spark in the air and for a moment, she thought that the sun had gone down for the everything felt just a hint darker than before.
“Brother dear, tell our sister-” Rebekah began but Klaus held up his hand, silencing her completely. Even though she closed her mouth, Caroline could sense that she was not pleased to be silent and that her tantrum most likely would only get worse once she was allowed to speak again.
“This was not how I wanted the introduction to go.” Klaus said in a low and dangerous ton. Caroline could feel the power radiating from him. She thought back to all the times they had spent together as children and the stolen moments in their youth. That power had always been a part of him, prickling under his skin and radiating until Caroline could touch it. “You were supposed to keep her company until-”
“Until you made your grand appearance and swept her off her feet. Yes. Nik, we know. ” Rebekah snapped back, her arms crossed over her chest. Freya brought her hands to her head, pinching the bridge of her nose as though a migraine was forming. “And that was the plan but it is not my fault that he scorned me.”
