Hey there!
Just a quick check in. I know I probably don't need to do this but I worry and I assume other people worry so here's an updated pinned post for my fellow worriers
I think my time 100% off tumblr has been good for me and I'm not sure what I want to be "getting out of" using this site right now. Lots of real life and adulting to deal with and my brain is doing better with less social media and less sensory input in my down time
I'll probably only be back here whenever I have something fun and creative to share again
But I'm good! Lot's of taking care of myself and being an adult!

Realizing I'm not gonna have some magical "aha" moment that fixes everything and I have to put actual time and effort into my mental health and be patient and understanding with myself:

You can't pick and choose which mental illnesses and neurological disorders you support.
Yes, keep supporting people with autism and ADHD.
Keep supporting people with Depression and Anxiety.
But also support people with Schizophrenia and Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Also support people with ASPD and NPD.
Also support people with OCD and BPD.
There are so many more, and you should support these people with them.
They are struggling with these.
They did not choose to have these.

Having thoughts about intersecting conditions with conflicting symptoms and management.
About needing to stim and having movement-related pain, about antipsychotics and eating disorders, about understimulation while executive dysfunction prevents you from doing anything about it, or understimulation and anhedonia. About having verbal tics and selective mutism, about impulsiveness and anxiety, about paranoia so you can't trust other people and psychosis so you can't trust yourself. About mood swings and flat effect, about hyperfocus and brain fog, about incontinence and compulsions.
About symptoms which tear at eachother while you're in the crossfire, and when one comes on top it makes the other invisible.
