What a cruel fate we share.

What a cruel fate we share. Every day we try our best, we struggle harder. But why do we even bother? Do you know? I don't! We stay in this cold, lifeless room. This room that is crumbling down around us. We stay here because it's safer than out there. We stay here and keep struggling. But why? There's nothing out there for us. Nothing out there for me. I'm tired. I look around and realise how alone I am. Why do I struggle? Maybe it's time to stop. The pain isn't worth the agony.

I should have know when you turned away from me, when you refused to look in my direction, that something was wrong. I was smitten with you and I think you knew it too. You lead me to believe you liked me, it made me happy, but it was a lie. The cruelty of it all. You used me, then threw me away. Can you blame me for not lingering? I'll remember our time together fondly, but I'll always hate how you made me feel afterwards.

As I sat so close to her, losing myself in those gorgeous pink eyes, a few shades darker than my own, my hand reached out to her face: a moth drawn to her flame. I tucked a loose strand of her silky green hair back into place. A shy smile teased at my lips as I did so. She is just so beautiful. My fingers came to rest of her cheek. Her skin was warm and soft beneath mine. Slowly, without ever taking my eyes off of her, I leaned in. My heart pounding in my throat as I did so. I paused, hesitating. What if she didn't want this, want me as I wanted her? That's when her eyes fluttered shut as she leaned towards me. Our lips met. I could tell she was just as shy as me, but as the passion took hold and her affection mixed with my own, I knew we had both been wanting each other for a very long time.

Hello Folks! I hope you are all having a good day. I finally uploaded the basic Interactive Fiction Template for Ren’Py the other night. It’s very basic at the moment but it’s a good starting basis. It’s main features so far are

- Text Box being changed to suit a IF Template - Full page rather than dialogue box.

- Save layout changed to suit IF Games (No pictures) Also added nameable saves thanks to Ayael.

- Pronoun tool thanks too Npckc.

- A quick intro that shows off Variables.

Special Mention to Shawna for all your coding help!

Things I have planned

- More in-depth Variables and explanations. - Stat’s page that has some placeholder stats that can be changed to suit your needs.

- Codex page.

A murder mystery “whodunnit” in which you are the killer.

Synopsis

You are an assassin of renown, a professional in the world of contract killing. Deadly, discreet, and experienced. Hired by a wealthy, mysterious client for your most peculiar job yet.

“Off the New England coast is a grand manor awaiting its first drop of blood. Attend the week-long banquet and kill all attending guests as instructed.”

The reason should not matter but still, you wonder - why all these people at once? Why the drama and effort of a banquet? Where is the host? And why are the servants, empty eyes and puppet smiles, watching you? Hidden like a wolf among sheep, you begin to suspect you may not be the only one or thing that stalks these gilded halls.

Featuring

Build your own assassin! Choose one of three motives, your relationship with your career, your general temperament, and your preferred method of assassination.

Craft a persona and blend in among guests. Remember to be consistent or risk being found out.

Four romance options, two of which are gender-flippable and one of which is your fellow assassin hired alongside you.

A mystery to unravel, if your assassin is so inclined. Or do your job, ask no questions, and get paid (probably.)

Hey! Can I ask you if there are games or wips with the 'Enemies to lovers' trope? I'm just a sucker for it honestly
