Each of these women weigh the EXACT same amount according to the scale. All of these jeans = the EXACT same size written on the tags. 🤯 . The calories you’re counting? EXACTLY as unreliable in the body as the numbers from the scale & tags in this photo. . I didn’t notice serious results in my own body until I stopped looking at the scale, stopped counting calories & just stopped paying attention to numbers at all in terms of my weight, food, etc.👌🏼 . Your numbers are NEVER going to be accurate. Sure, it can help to get a general idea of if you’re over eating, etc, but relying on numbers (ESPECIALLY to tell you how you should feel…😒) is redundant. . Most of the people I end up speaking to have their self worth all wrapped up in the numbers. Using those numbers to determine how they judge themselves in every other facet?! 🤔 . I wish I was kidding. I’m not, and I know a LOT of people out there can relate to this! I struggled with an eating disorder for YEARS & never won. You won’t win that way. . This is the answer to one of my FAQ’s. “I don’t know why I can’t lose weight, I really don’t eat that much!”.🧐 . It’s really not necessarily the amount that you’re eating. It’s WHAT the things that you’re eating are made of that matters! . The food on the left is full of processed ingredients your body can’t recognize & far too many “bad fats” = the body will generally want to store this. Fat stores toxins (in animals as well as humans). The food on the right has far cleaner ingredients that your body can recognize & use, thus it goes to work & isn’t generally stored. . This doesn’t mean you can never enjoy McDonald’s! You certainly can enjoy everything you like, but it’s HOW you go about it that matters. . Losing weight is never about eating less or depriving yourself of anything you want. . It’s about eating according to how YOUR body understands & metabolizes foods. . There is no “one size fits all” approach that will work for everyone. But I can promise you it’s not difficult, and that likely eating MORE while exercising LESS is what you really need. Anyone who desires to be vegan & genuinely FEELS healthier & happier for it, should eat accordingly, but learn how to do it correctly. Many unhealthy foods are labeled “vegan”. Fries or grains (popular vegan choices at restaurants) will negate health without balance. 🧬 We NEED “complete” protein. This makes the cell wall structurally sound. Vegan diets require combining foods for adequate amounts of quality proteins. 🥩 It takes our genome about 100,000 years to change 1/10 of 1%. If all ancestors ate strictly vegan, there’s a good argument suggesting we wouldn’t be here today. Many humans were nomadic based on dietary availability during colder months. This is in our DNA today. 🥬 Those who lived in winters survived on heavier animal proteins & fats. 🦬 ❄️ If they were near the equator, they had vegetation all year & would do well on little or no meat. ☀️ Sick animals = sick humans. Eating conventional meats = more susceptibility to cancer, etc. Those animals contain toxins & are more acidic, creating more acidity in us. We NEED to be more alkaline. 🔬 Paleo works well. What we ate 10,000 years ago (palaeolithic) is more compatible with how our DNA thrives today. 🧪 Eating meat CAN be unhealthy if conventional in larger quantities. Cells rebuild with food. If we eat flesh made with antibiotics, hormones, etc & the animals aren’t free to roam or be happy, our cells have a big disadvantage. 🩸 Fat stores toxins in animals & humans. The more we eat conventional animals, the more toxic we are = harder it is to lose weight. The best meat is organic, free range, grass fed & wild caught fish. 🎣 There’s no good fad diet. With adequate nutrition, you'll get 4x the results from only 1/4 of the exercise! “Adequate nutrition” does NOT mean dieting, restricting or eliminating anything you like. It’s only just making small adjustments here & there to align your eating with what your BODY is wanting on a biochemically individualized way. . I have 2 spots that opened up for January! 🔥 RARE… . The ONLY way to create efficient & lasting change in the body is to contact the nervous system on a level where it can facilitate lasting change. Whether autoimmune issues, weight loss, etc. . The reason most things don’t work or rebound is because your nervous system keeps track of everything going on in your body. However your body has been consistently over a certain period of time in your life (even if that’s unwell & over weight), is how your nervous system is going to keep you calibrated unless you change it fundamentally. . The ONLY reason we want anything that we want in our lives is because of the FEELING we would have if we had achieved whatever the goal is. The body will always be smarter than you are. It will never be able to comprehend your logic. What do I mean?…. . Obeying “meal times” over when your body is genuinely asking for food. Overriding your body’s natural hunger cues will unbalance your hunger & satiation hormone signalling over time. . Staying awake because it’s “too early to go to bed”. When your body needs sleep, it asks for sleep, no matter how that fits into your schedule. Overriding your body’s natural sleep signalling will unbalance the repair mechanisms in your body over time. . There’s far more where those came from, but then HOW can you manage life in THIS day & age when it’s simply unrealistic to eat while working or sleep when we need to be caring for our families? . The answer is actually far more simple than it might seem. . When I work with my clients one on one I use little steps implemented into each individual lifestyle bit by bit to a certain percentage of overall time in a way that the mind perceives as stress free & effortless. I’d like to draw attention to this post regarding “belly fat” being normal. I won’t share who posted it because the intention was to help people feel better about having some belly fat. But here’s the TRUTH. . What is pictured here is NOT belly fat. The body does not store fat between the belly button & pubic bone. We always see severely obese people with guts that hang over their belt. If they didn’t have pants on, the gut would still hang over that area because that area doesn’t store fat! . What you see here is inflammation, which is extremely common in women especially. Anything like this between the belly button & pubic bone is inflammation. . Here are the main causes that when addressed, would eliminate this issue: . Alcohol Wheat and/or Gluten Corn Soy Dairy Pesticides Processed foods Refined sugar And ESPECIALLY Candida! . Eliminate all od the above for a minimum of 3 weeks (and hopefully along with a properly executed Candida cleanse), and the pouch down there will disappear. I’ve seen it happen every single time in my personal & professional experience. . YES, it is still normal to have a bit of belly fat! A normal amount is healthier than none, trust me. .
