When you go back to one of your old fandoms and you realize it doesn’t even amount to 300 pages of fics whilst your current fandom has over 5000 pages and you realize: d a m n. I did NOT have a lot to work with way back when.

Srsly that fandom is a fuckin ghost town. There’s like,, a couple dozen semi moderately active members and that’s it. That fandom used to be the shit. It would leave you sobbing with how angsty the animatics got. I’ve come to find out there are less than thirty, and most of them aren’t even organized under a cohesive fandom title. Now we have artists like SAD-ist and WolfyTheWitch who produce animatic that look like they’ve been done by ten professionals with college degrees. We have song artists making their own pieces based entirely off of Minecraft block people. We have writers that could probably just change the names in their works and publish them while making a huge profit (yes, I’m looking at you, @eneli and @thcscus (blujamas)). It’s fucking crazy we have so many talented creators not only in the official content but also within the fandom.

It’s nice to look back and see how far the internet has come (we’re completely ignoring the thousand steps backwards Twitter took for now :) ). Y’all creators are awesome, and I don’t know how you do it. You should be proud of yourselves for putting your work out there. You guys are awesome (completely ignoring artists that create outside of cc’s boundaries and people who ship the minors bc that’s gross and they are an unwelcome intrusion upon the fandom).

If Phil and Wilbur are there that’s a bonus! Over 5K would be nice but not necessary. Anything featuring tommy dealing with exile trauma with any member of sbi there for emotional support is lovely.
