First time converting a greyscale to colour! Traditionally, I just painted on the flats (to some moderate success - depending on the brush!) I didn't have a lot of time to do a proper greyscale render, so this will just have to do for today.

I like that it's easier to define light and shadows in greyscale - I also learned that I can lock transparencies and use the lasso fill tool to adjust colours which is a great save when I need to slightly adjust my colours!

This is also the first step of properly defining my colour workflow. I often make the tracks as I go and I feel like it's a big barrier as to why I don't go beyond the sketch phase because of how wild it can be.

Defs need to adjust my paint brushes to bring them in line with my lining tools - I need the pressure sensitivity to be consistent in the range that's comfortable for use with my wrist.
