DG meme anon: I made the mistake of trying to replay TUH because I got a bit burned out trying to do all the routes on D&D (I finally did Harper's and now trying to do Sinclaire's. Parsons' is tempting me so much I just love Annabelle). I'm trying to pick a hairstyle and all of them are making me feel violent again. None of these are fucking appropriate for 1913! Short hair didn't come into fashion until 1915 when Irene Castle cut her hair due to the fact that she was undergoing surgery and didn't want to keep up with the maintenance! I'm slightly more lucid than before so that's why I can be more detailed but by god I'm going to strangle whoever made these hairstyles literally two of them would be acceptable but most would not be I'm going CRAZY Ashley please send help

Do you struggle to pursue other romantic options when you play games? Not even with Choices but like in general. For example, I cannot romance anyone other than Merrill in Dragon Age 2 because the second she starts talking I go 🥺 and immediately romance her. Same goes for nearly every other game. Why does this happen?

DG meme terrorizer, back again! I have no where else to rant about this so something you won't care about be upon ye: I have some knowledge about historical fashion, albeit my main focus is Edwardian (which bleeds a bit into the late 1890s and early 1920s), I have some general understanding about some different fashion periods. I cannot STAND some of the historically inaccurate fashions and hairstyles Choices uses! I'm not even going to touch on Kamilah's Wild West outfit which makes me GAG every time I see it while replaying BB. But like in TUH they reused some character models from D&D and it made me feel violent. You can't reuse Countess Henrietta in a non-regency book! Her hair is distinctive to the Regency period! I accepted the big sleeves on Moira in AVSP bc back then clothes were often kept longer so even if it is a few years out of date it still makes sense. But also in TUH the fact that there are options for the mc to have her hair down???? No! Her hair would have been up due to her age! While yes, short hairstyles were coming in (Gemma's is too reminiscent of 1920s but the bob did start about a year or two later even if it didn't get popular yet), her hair would still be a signifier of her adulthood. I want to gnaw on wood I'm going insane.
