Two days of discussing whit friends and co workers ; Is Count Dooku a sociopath or a psychopath? (A narcissist is a given for him. He was way to high on his own supply.) All of it prompted by a line from Dooku Jedi lost explaining he struggled a lot whit recognizing or understanding emotions.   So yeh. I lost two days of life to this conundrum and just for anybody interested in knowing.  His a Sociopath, and surprisingly/or not/ So is Anakin.  In fact  an interesting theory we build up was, Quin gon Jinn did in fact, chose Xantos( also a sociopath) because he reminded him of Dooku. He wanted to help somebody struggling whit the same burden(and trauma) as his master. He was more attentive and loving to him because this was PERSOnAL. That's probably why he didn't keep in contact whit his old master after. His experience whit Xantos traumatised him and poisoned the water so to speak. Causing a snowball effect in all his relationships. Mostly whit Dooku and Obi wan. He was the stabilizer that broke. And I'm going to stoop here because iw way overthought it and I cud just keep going and going.
