विरोधाभास / Paradox
Tumblr media
धर्म के नाम पर वे तलवार उठाते हैं,
लेकिन धर्म के मार्ग से भटक जाते हैं,
नफरत की नजर से लड़ते हर वक्त,
भूल जाते हैं धर्म को ही अपने जब तब...
👀👀👀👀👀👀
In the name of faith, they pick up the sword,
But its teachings' essence, they often ignore...
Always ready to fight, with hate in their gaze,
Straying from virtue's path, they often amaze...

Embrace Life's Embrace
Tumblr media
In the grand theatre of existence, we tread,
Not merely chasing laurels, nor fearing dread...
For life's essence lies not in winning's feat,
But in the shared journey, where souls meet...
Each step we take, a waltz in the cosmic ball,
Every moment, a note in the melody's thrall...
No victor crowned, nor vanquished in defeat,
For every soul holds a role, unique and sweet...
Through highs and lows, we navigate the tide,
In unity and harmony, our journeys are tied...
For in the tapestry of life, each thread is spun,
Under the same sky, beneath the same sun...
Let's treasure the moments, both big and small,
In the grand mosaic, each one stands tall...
For in the end, it's not the score we chase,
But the grace with which we embrace life's embrace...

A Call to Action
Tumblr media
(World Earth Day Special)
On this April twenty-two, a Monday's light,
We rally for Earth, our only planet's plight...
For today marks a global clarion call,
To heed the Earth's cry, to stand firm and tall...
"Planet vs Plastics" is the theme we embrace,
To combat pollution, to heal Earth's space...
Sixty percent less plastics by 2040 in sight,
We strive for a future, bathed in radiant light...
No single-use plastics, we proclaim with pride,
Bags, straws, bottles, cast such things aside...
Embrace the reusable, shun the throwaway,
For our Earth's tomorrow, we pave the way...
Recycle, compost, let nothing go to waste,
In responsible stewardship, our actions placed...
Supporting sustainable, choosing wise,
To diminish our footprint, never compromise...
Policy change, a call to our leaders above,
To enact laws, to show the Earth our love...
For on this Earth Day, and every day hence,
We stand for our planet, our mutual defence...
World Earth Day, like a beacon, so bright,
Should bind us tight in our shared might...
From distant shores to our home's embrace,
We must gather strength, a global grace...
So let's join hands, in this global quest,
To build a world sustainable, at its very best...
For Earth's well-being, let our voices sway,
we must lead the way, the eco-friendly way...

Beauty in Uniqueness
Tumblr media
Once, I visited a hair salon for a trim. With age, my hair had thinned and grayed. During the haircut, the stylist suggested dyeing my hair black. Though I appreciated the suggestion, I prefer not to dye my hair. I joked with the stylist, remarking on the irony of spending years bleaching some strands only to consider dyeing them black again. The stylist chuckled, perhaps thinking me frugal.
Each stage of life holds unique meaning, beauty, and significance, and we should embrace our age accordingly. Yet, many resort to hair transplants, bariatric, and plastic surgeries in an attempt to deceive others and themselves.
Embracing our changing selves nurtures a life free from stress. As we gaze into the mirror, let's embrace the genuine beauty within and take pride in it. Understanding our inner beauty outweighs the pursuit of external validation through flattering remarks.
But why? Why do we measure ourselves against others? Simply to triumph over them?
God has a different scheme of things. He has made us different, with different faces, different irises, different palm lines. Our chromosomes and genes also don't match. Everyone's zodiac sign and blood group cannot be the same.
The divine has a unique design for each of us. We bear distinct faces, irises, and palm lines, not to mention our diverse chromosomes and genes. The compatibility of zodiac signs and blood groups doesn't align either.
While some finish their studies by 21, the journey to a fulfilling job may take years. Others stumble into success effortlessly, while some toil endlessly without reaping the rewards.
Life unfolds in unpredictable ways; there are those who ascend to the CEO role at 25 only to leave this world at 50, while others assume the position at 50 and thrive until 90. Barack Obama steps down at 55, while Donald Trump begins at 70.
Similarly, in academia, some students maintain a smile despite exam failures, while others shed tears over a single mark's difference."
Our sorrow isn't rooted in our lacks, but in the possessions of others. Sometimes we perceive others as surpassing us, yet it's worth noting that others are also trailing behind us.
Each individual occupies their rightful place in the world, each one unique. Comparison is unnecessary; you're not behind or ahead, not inferior or superior. You're just different from others. Embrace your differences and your unique position.
So stay joyful, stay chill, and savor each moment this life offers.

हाथी /Elephant
Tumblr media
हमने पाल रखे हैं
उम्मीदों को
हाथी की तरह...
पर पूंछ भी कब
निकल जाती है,
एहसास ही नहीं होता...
🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
We nurse
our expectations
like tending to an elephant,
but we're oblivious
when even its tail
slips away unnoticed...

Echoes of Resilience: A Journey
Tumblr media
In parched drains, waters once flowed,
Ponds, once full, now desiccated, slowed...
Rivers dwindle, their currents wane,
Scarcity grips, every artery and vein...
Water, the lifeblood, now a rare sight,
Scarce in the day, scarce in the night...
Is it only the heat or some unseen hand,
That steals water from this thirsty land?
Even tears shed, in sorrow's embrace,
Evaporate swiftly, leaving no trace...
In this arid realm, where life's tune fades,
Yet hope whispers through barren glades...
In the abyss of despair, a glimmer of light,
Though shadows loom, obscuring the sight...
Echoes in hearts persist, thru' sorrow and pain,
Better days will return, like the silvery rain...
Hearts, though weary, still dare to dream,
Amidst the darkness, a flicker, a gleam...
The moon's soft glow, a comforting sight,
Promises solace even in the darkest night...
In the sky, a canvas of blue and white,
Where clouds will gather, in pure delight...
Dancing with the foggy droplets of mirth,
Anointing grace upon the grateful earth....
Though doubts will linger, hearts persist,
Echoing hopes of better days not missed...
Brighter horizons, fervent prayers sway,
Heralding the dawn of a promising day...
Through tears and trials, our way shall unveil,
Embracing every opportunity, we'll prevail...
For amidst despair's grip and anguish's reign,
Brighter days await, to return once again...
P.S. 1
It appears that spring has come to an end for us. The scorching sun has begun to display its typical unpredictable behaviour. We now anticipate the rain to give us respite once more with its downpour, though it may be delayed this year as forecasted.
P.S. 2
I'm participating in some wedding celebrations, I may not be able to respond to your comments promptly. However, I'm keeping the comments open because I value your input, and my posts feel incomplete without them. It also allows me to engage with my friends. Please bear with me if there are delays in my replies.

दर्द / Pain
Tumblr media
😣 😣 😣 😣 😣 😣
Pain resides in every heart,
some endure it, others inflict it,
some pen it down,
while others simply read it,
and some let it fade
like wisps of cigarette smoke...

Unusual but Factual!
Tumblr media
1 - Amidst a plethora of colours, white reigns as a symbol of class.
2 - Amidst a cacophony of voices and sounds, silence holds the utmost reverence.
3 - Despite the abundance of food choices, fasting is hailed as beneficial for health.
4 - Inspite of having many places to travel and explore, solitary meditation is esteemed above all.
5 - Despite the abundance of external sights, turning inward with closed eyes is the pinnacle.
6 - Despite the myriad voices of the outside world, the eternal voice within speaks loudest.
7 - Despite the allure of a charming life, a tranquil soul brings solace and divinity.
Rely on your senses...
Embrace a fulfilling life...

खुश / Happy
Tumblr media
😃 😃 😃
I've spent my entire life
striving to bring joy to others,
yet, those I managed
to make happy weren't my own,
and the ones who were mine
never became happy...

Ramanavami: Reverence and Reflection
Tumblr media
Today is Ramanavami, a sacred Hindu festival observed on the ninth day of the waxing moon in the month of Chaitra. It commemorates the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Lord Rama is revered as the epitome of righteousness, virtue, and dharma (duty). His life, as depicted in the great epic, the Ramayana, serves as a guiding light for moral and ethical living. He is revered for his exemplary qualities as a king, husband, and son and his ultimate triumph over the demon king Ravana.
The life and teachings of Lord Rama inspire individuals to uphold moral values, practise compassion, and lead a life of integrity and purpose.
Ramanavami transcends religious boundaries, uniting people of diverse backgrounds in a shared celebration of universal values. It emphasizes the importance of harmony, tolerance, and respect for all beings, fostering a sense of unity and kinship among humanity.
Mahatma Gandhi was greatly influenced by the teachings of the Ramayana. He considered Rama as an ideal ruler and his rule as an ideal governance. He therefore, envisaged Rama rajya, a societal framework characterised by virtue, morality, justice, and equal rights for all, regardless of status.
The concept of Rama rajya has assumed relevance in contemporary times where effective governance is increasingly scarce.
Modern leaders, even those democratically elected, often prioritise personal gain over the welfare of their constituents. Rama rajya presents a blueprint for governance that prioritises the happiness and prosperity of all citizens, eradicating pain, poverty, sorrow, and discrimination.
The story of Lord Rama's life is not merely a tale of heroism but a profound spiritual journey filled with trials, tribulations, and moral dilemmas. It prompts us to contemplate our own actions and choices, striving to embody the virtues exemplified by Lord Rama.
As we celebrate Ramanavami, let us commit to internalizing the profound wisdom of Lord Rama's teachings, fostering a world characterided by unity, peace, harmony, and goodwill for all.

सुंदरता दूर की / Distant Beauty
Tumblr media
चांद की सुंदरता चांद पर नहीं दिखती है,
चांदनी तो धरती से ही अच्छी दिखती है,
दूरी थोड़ी होती है जरूरी इसीलिए,
खूबसूरती को महसूस करने के लिए...
🌝 🌝 🌝
In the moon's tender hold,
beauty unfolds...
Its allure reaches afar,
stories untold...
Radiant beams, Earth's
delight it seems...
Distance lends enchantment,
inspiring dreams...

Echoes of Hope
Tumblr media
In depths of our hearts, conflicting forces dwell,
One resigns to destiny, where tales often tell...
Of wishes left unmet, dreams adrift in night,
Yet another alights with hope, burning bright...
It sees the glimmer of potential in hope's sway,
And in that luminous realm, we find our way...
For at times, in the quiet whispers of the soul,
Miracles unfurl, making broken pieces a whole...
Thus we traverse this paradox, a soulful duet,
One tethered to reality, another soaring, yet...
And in the space between, where doubt and faith collide,
We muster the faith, to let hope be our guide...
For in the end, it's the prospect of what might be,
That propels us forward, keeping our spirits free...
So let us grasp onto that gleam, that radiant spark,
And embrace the magic, as we journey thru' the dark...

Effort
Tumblr media
In the voyage of life,
effort should reign supreme...
Waiting merely yields
what's but a fleeting dream...
So imbrace striving,
forsake idle waiting...
For those who linger,
find themselves debating...
Cease trying not,
lest you be left behind...
Effort's compass
guides treasures to find...

Puns Intended
Tumblr media
Puns have this unique ability to play with words, often by exploiting multiple meanings or the sounds of words. People enjoy puns because they surprise, delight, and sometimes even challenge the mind by creating unexpected connections or humour through language.
The charm of puns lies in their wit, linguistic acrobatics, or their knack for lightening the mood. Here are ten puns to kickstart your week with a chuckle.
1. Best Cellar.
I've just finished reading a book on the world's greatest basement. It was a best cellar.
2. Spokesperson.
It's my first week working at the bicycle factory, and they've already appointed me as their spokesperson.
3. Bicycle
Every morning, I get hit by the same bicycle. It's a vicious cycle.
4. Stable
Horses tend to have lower divorce rates. It's because they are in stable relationships.
5. Windows
My laptop caught pneumonia, apparently because I left the Windows open.
6. Procrastination
My teachers warned that my procrastination would hold me back, but I simply replied, "Just wait and see."
7. Comb
About 90% of bald individuals own a comb, though they just can't part with it.
8. Incorrectly
The word incorrectly is spelt incorrectly in every dictionary.
9. Hare Line
What do you call a row of rabbits hopping backwards? A receding hare line.
10. Trustworthy
Nudists are always trustworthy. They have nothing to hide.

नमी / Moisture
Tumblr media
कुछ नमी
तो जरूरी है
होना आंखों में,
लेकिन इतनी भी नहीं
कि बहने लगे
आंसू बनकर...
👀 👀 👀
A certain level of
moisture in the eyes
is essential,
but not so much
that it starts flowing
like tears...

Win-Win Approach
Tumblr media
In the symphony of elements,
fire and water dance...
Their energies clash,
in nature's grand expanse...
Where they collide,
sparks ignite, waves prance...
Yet with a vessel in between,
they find a tranquil trance...
Water, cool and serene,
meets fire's blazing might...
In the mediator's embrace,
they blend just right...
Harmony prevails well,
in the gentle twilight...
As fire's warmth glows,
and water's flow takes flight...
Neither scorched nor drowned,
they find their place...
They meld in unity,
in their rightful place...
A union of contrasts,
in harmonious grace,
Fulfilling their purposes,
in an eternal embrace...
Let them coexist,
in mutual gain's reign...
Guided by the vessel,
their pact remains...
A win-win approach,
where none feel pain...
Bonds enduring,
in a harmony's domain...

Universal Language
Tumblr media
In tongues diverse,
we speak our thanks...
Gratitude to God above,
in various ranks...
But in His wisdom,
He always understands...
Emotion's language,
in all its diverse strands...
For in every tongue,
whether grand or slight...
He hears the heart's whisper,
day and night...
