Headcanon Sally naturally has very wavy hair. But it being the early 00s, she always straightened it, from being a teen in the 90s to young adult by Cars 1.

Everyone in town thought she had straight hair until Lightning catches her in the morning right as she's about to straighten it and sees the little loops and waves that fall down her shoulders.

He convinces her to let it be for the day just to see how she likes it. Of course everyone in town loves it, they even ask what the occasion is before she tells them that's how it naturally is.

She ends up loving it herself and especially since Lightning made a habit of curling one of her locks around his finger when he goes to hug her. So since then, she always had that wave to her hair.

think of this. lightning wins his first championship. in victory lane, there are cameras and microphones in his face and he’s being asked questions of all sorts; hes only scanning the crowd for one person.

he wants to celebrate this with sally, he NEEDS to celebrate this with sally, and when his eyes finally land on her, squeezing through the crowd to try and get to him, he waits until shes right at the side of his car with his championship shirt in one hand, marker in the other, pretending to be a fan asking for an autograph. he doesnt hesitate, though, he grabs her hand and pulls up, and she gets the hint and scales the car. with absolutely ZERO thought, he dips her and kisses her, and theyre stood in victory lane with confetti falling around them, champagne in his hair, and the love of his life in his arms.

theres a photographer somewhere in the crowd; they catch that scene. the darkness of the sky behind them, the stadium lights being one of the only light sources around, and they catch each piece of confetti in that lens, every person in the crowd, all of the reporters that have backed away to give whoever was photographer the Perfect scene. they capture perhaps one of the most iconic victory pictures to date; the youngest piston cup driver to ever win a cup kissing his girlfriend right after his big win.

its in the RSN magazine, any sports magazine to be frank, and its probably one of their favourite pictures of all time. lightning really wishes he could thank that photographer.

Dude I think the same thing!

Mid-engine cars have a general access point from beneath for basic maintenance (like oil changes)

But the moment you need to get more invasive engine work done? You're needing to do surgery. And it's very risky to have/be a mid-engine or rear engined car due to how difficult it is to do maintenance as well. And death rates are probably higher due to the same reasons.

Which would be a possible reason why there aren't many mid engine or rear engine cars. (Ik the lack of weird engine placements irl is for different reasons, but gotta come up with a reason why in the cars world, you can't just selective breed to be the most powerful hypercar lmao)

But lemons like Zundapp get screwed over from the start because they don't even have the appeal of being powerful.

Okay I have a serious question for cars fandom; How the fuck does Zundapp (and some other mid-engine models) get his engine fixed if somethings wrong with it? Like in human world you'd have to get into the car and move the seats in the middle to get to the engine, (and I have heard that working on the engine is hard irl too because of it's placement) but I'm pretty goddamn sure it don't work like that in the cars universe.

And don't they have brains or stuff in the cab space if the car anatomy pictures that I've seen are correct?? So you can't just open his back door because organs on the way??? Or is he just built different?

Bro how are you going to get that fixed if something breaks?

Imagine having to have a sparkplug or something like that replaced and having to go trough a fucking surgery because of that.

Like for the neck and fingerboard portion, there's clamps that can be moved to different positions and strings depending on how the player moves and spins their left tire. And the right tire controls the bow with similar motions.
