cake anon’s 2nd birthday !!

it’s officially been two years since i started this blog! i still can't believe that i've come so far with all this, but thank you all for supporting me throughout the way ;w; cakeiversary celebrations will begin tomorrow!

❦. i can't believe it's already been two years since starting this blog ugh it's really so crazy to me

❦. cake anon has been such a fun thing to be, she's a creative outlet that i've just never had before so she's just so special to me

❦. i feel myself pushing myself and my art forward more than ever simply to make the best that i possibly can for golden petals and i feel like i'm better for it :,]

❦. and omg golden petals.. what a joy it is to watch them grow

❦. there's a reason why i portray them as a music box here, i could watch them spin and dance in the palm of my hand for what feels like forever hehe

❦. also catalina von fire emblem, ruler of my heart.. i've said this before but she's taught to love a lot of aspects about myself

❦. i could even tell from drawing this cakeiversary art, last year's art i made cake anon so much paler than i actually am so ty catalina for teaching me that i don't need to whitewash myself to like how i look haha

❦. i feel like i've talked so much and haven't even mentioned all the wonderful friends i've made through cake anon wahhh i love my friends.. so much

❦. claude’s captions would probably lean towards playful and simple, definitely not overly cheesy, ive seen the caption “dibs” float around and i think that’s the kinda vibe he would have !!

❦. for something specifically claude themeing.. “got hit by an arrow” or something else w cupid’s arrow theming aaaa

❦. also for those leaning more romantic they would be something like “always gonna be you” or maybe a song lyric,,

to add to the blurbs..

❦. catalina gets REALLY flustered but also giddy each time claude posts them together or even just a pic of her on his story from their date

❦. she’s not the most active on social media posting wise other than posting pretty flowers or scenery she sees throughout the day maybe the occasional food pic but after they’re together for a while she feels compelled to post him too!!

❦. she’s more drawn to cute emojis for captions and some song lyrics ooo or maybe just flower names that suit the vibe (did i mention she likes flowers..)

❦. also sylvain comments under one of or some of their posts together with “siblings or dating” — makes claude laugh, leaves catalina MORTIFIED (“omg no do ppl actually think that when we go out together!?omg nononono”)

❦. i see them as being college kids w their academy selves

❦. catalina is always really pushing herself in her studies, maybe she would even be double majored so she ends up doing LONG study sessions in the library

❦. claude is there to check up on her though ofc, ryan put the idea in my head that he would come see her in the library between classes to give her food and a kiss and it rotates in my mind CONSTANTLY

❦. claude’s always posting cati on his socials, ppl are kind of sick of it but they’re too cute for them to say anything

❦. BUILD LEGO FLOWER SETS TOGETHER.. not a doubt in my mind that they do that as a sleepover activity while watching a movie they take an hour to decide on

❦. i see claude as being involved in a lot of clubs maybe a leader of one (my gut says chess) and catalina always makes time in her busy schedule to show up at their events to support him!!

❦. they go on dates to the closest boba shop, especially when cati needs a break from her study sessions

❦. catalina gets the same drink every time while claude always tries something new (he lets catalina have a sip hoping she can widen her palette) + he gets a snack that they can share

❦. catalina insists that she pays but claude always seems to trick her into letting him do it, she always feels guilty but claude doesn’t care, he has the money to spend

❦. catalina basically lives the rapunzel story in fe3h, basically locked away in the monastery unable to leave all that much and wanting to explore the world

❦. catalina is so similar to alice aaa her imagining up a whole world like wonderland bc the rules and regulations of sophisticated society bore her is just so fitting

❦. in this au ofc alice wouldn’t be a child i could definitely see catalina in wonderland as her academy self bc she uses escapism as a coping mechanism sm

❦. instead of them being aunts to briar rose they would more likely be like older cousins

❦. catalina as briar rose would definitely want to explore outside the woodcutter’s cottage and the forest and so meeting claude was sort of the perfect gateway!!

❦. claude as prince philip is so nice too.. i wholeheartedly believe that he would throw away his royal title to run away to be w this girl he met in the woods over someone he’s been betrothed to since birth.. it makes sense to me

Thinking about sad Sylvain stuff.

Like, Heather is not recruitable for Crimson flower route. Sylvain is. So my evil little brain started storming.

Post war he'd joke that she should join the Black eagles too so they will be in the same class without either of them having to take the other one in therefore it's the most fair option. And with how much pressure on the house Hubert and Edelgard put she'd be like "nah, I think I'm good" so they'd still just laugh it off and be alright with the little house rivalry.

Then things get difficult.

Sylvain would be hesitant about everything that's been going on, wondering if he made the right choice following Byleth (and with that Edelgard). It just seemed so pointless. Not only his faith in Dimitri would falter but even after Dimitri's death his doubts would just be stronger. He'd just translate it as a shock from what happened and all but things would be different when he'd fight Heather.

Even in fight to the death she'd still crack jokes and be herself. Not mad at Sylvain at all for siding with Edelgard. Not mad at them separating. Not mad at the fact that his weapon was pointed at her.

His biggest regret would be making that strike connect. He didn't want to, he had to. But in face of her death he would ignore everything around them to hug her one last time. Her last words being "Sylvain... I've always..." And he wouldn't know what came after that. He could only wonder what she wanted to say.

He'd become snappy. Whenever anyone tried to talk to him about what happened he'd just make a sarcastic comment and ignore the person altogether. He made the wrong choice, and it was too bad that he realized it only after he lost everyone important to him.

Heather: That'll help me get into the measuring habit.
