Soft (Osamu x reader)
Adult, business-owning boyfriend!Osamu is without a doubt the type of partner who would slowly yet firmly bring out the soft, tender-hearted childish part of you... and it would be without either of you even realising it... only when someone else pointed it out would it strike you both and even then it would hit you a lot more than it would Samu. Not because he doesn't care but because to him that is the natural order of the world. When and where else were you allowed to be soft, tender and just taken care of if not with your big beefy boyfriend...
Tumblr media
It's a cold winter night, but you all are sitting by the riverside, a blanket spread out and a collapsible table in the back holding food and drinks. The little group consists of you, Osamu, Suna, Iwaizumi, Kageyama, and a bunch of the other MSBY boys. Everyone is either nursing a drink or munching on snacks prepared by you and your boyfriend.
Osamu is sitting in the center of the blanket between a tipsy Suna and an amused Iwaizumi. Feet flat on the ground, knees spread apart, with his body hunched over yours, which is tucked against him. You are sitting between his legs, head thrown back against his shoulder, all warm and cozy. You let Samu hold up most of your weight as you melt into his chest, your hands playing with one of his own. Outside of setting up your little picnic and grabbing the occasional drink, it's how you spend most of your night. Somewhere behind you, you can hear Sakusa's indifferent voice talking to Kageyama. In front of you, Atsumu, Kotarou, and Shoyou are bickering over the last tuna mayo onigiri.
Every few minutes, Samu pecks your temple, quietly whispering snarky comments about others or chuckling deeply in your ear. He occasionally peppers kisses along your shoulder, and each time, you smile and mumble your agreement. You watch Atsumu fail to get the last onigiri from Bokuto as the much larger man chomps onto the rice in one bite. You giggle at the blonde's dismayed expression, which immediately grabs his attention.
"Y/N, don't laugh at me… it's not fair, ya know… that onigiri was rightfully mine."
"Awww, don't pout, Tsumu. Stop by the store tomorrow, okay? I'll keep an order prepared for you."
"One, I'm not pouting; I'm brooding. And two… You're the best, sweetheart. Have I told ya that?"
You just giggle, watching Atsumu jump about in happiness before he comes to a standstill. He takes a seat opposite you and Samu, legs crossed together. His eyes are trained on you, and you can only look back at him and smile. He smiles back wide before he speaks in a voice much quieter than before,
"Ya know, Y/N, I have never seen ya look so… so soft… unguarded even… it's probably the cutest thing ever."
His words are not at all what you were expecting, and they leave you gobsmacked and shy. You feel your cheeks heat up at the attention, especially when the boys around you start to peer in. Iwaizumi bends over trying to peek at your face against Osamu's hunched-over body. When your surprised doe eyes meet his, he chuckles in agreement,
"You aren't wrong, Astumu… definitely cute."
Suna does the same on the other side, one hand coming and lightly pinching your cheek.
"Mhmm, it is adorable… you should keep her hidden, Samu, otherwise someone's going to steal her away."
"Oh yeah? Ya one of those people, Sunarin?"
Finally, your boyfriend chimes in, you can feel his chest move as you bend back to look at him. You find his eyes already trained on you despite talking to Suna. His lidded eyes and soft smirk are an expression you would remember forever. You have never felt more loved and wanted in all your life, and you are quick to shy away from all the attention,
"You guys… go away. Smack around a ball or something."
You can feel Samu's chest rumble as he chuckles at your timidness while Atsumu jumps up to grab the ball and Shoyou. Suna pinches your cheek again, making you whine while Iwaizumi musses up your hair. Chatter seems to surround you again, but your mind is stuck on those words. They stay floating through your consciousness while the boys horse around, sometimes jolting when Osamu's body moves. The thoughts stay there while everyone packs, all of you too tired now and wanting to get home. It's all you can think about, even as Osamu grabs the heavy and lighter bags from your hand in one of his own, his other hand holding onto yours tightly. When you look up at him, he is already smiling down at you.
"Are ya okay, sweetheart? You've been quiet as a mouse, ya know."
You just hum, instead of leaning up to kiss the corner of his mouth. Osamu makes it easier by leaning down, quirking a brow at the soft gesture, but he doesn't say anything more. Instead, you walk down to the car, Sakusa helping to carry a drunk Atsumu along.
Soft. Soft. Soft… You sit in the passenger seat, looking out the window, with Atsumu and Sakusa in the back bickering with one another as usual.
You had never been soft…
You had never been soft in the sense that you were just never for others to see… Your softness, you had decided early on, was yours, and you would not give others a chance to abuse it because there were too many times where it had been… So when did it all change? When did it go from something secret to something celebrated?
Looking back, though, it was never really a question… Being soft with Osamu just happened as if you didn't know how to exist in any other way with him. You just couldn't… Not when he always bends down and ties your laces for you, nor when he always opens the car door and buckles your seat belt in because 'precious cargo' always needs to be strapped in. You didn't have a choice in keeping your softness hidden when you woke up to flowers on the table at least once a week, and when you asked Samu why, he just shrugged his shoulders and said pretty things should always be surrounded by pretty things. You didn't have a choice in hiding your tender heart when Samu has always had a hold on it, pulling it out of you and then keeping it on a pedestal for everyone to see but for no one else to touch.
Turning to look at him right now, one of his hands on the wheel, quietly humming something with his other hand on your thigh, gripping both your leg and your hand, you were hit with the intensity of Samu's love. And although his eyes never leave the road, you know he knows you're looking at him. You see him smile as the car comes to a stop in front of Atsumu's house. He turns to look at you, and when his eyes meet yours, he chuckles before leaning in to peck your lips. You have to stop yourself from deepening it because he has to help Sakusa get Atsumu to bed.
And when he comes back outside alone, your eyes immediately find him even in the dark outside. You roll the window down, his arms coming to rest on the door, head leaning in until you were so close you could feel his breath on your own lips.
"Ya sure you're alright mhmmm? Sure ya got nothing to tell me"
His nose comes to lightly nudge yours,
"Nothing to tell your Samu, promise, just been thinking that's all"
"How about you tell me what about? might make me feel better"
"Just thinking about how happy I am being yours thats all"
Your words knock the breath right out of Samu and he lets out a sounds thats something between a chuckle and a groan before he's leaning away to open your door. Before you can question him his hands find you face lips landing on yours. Samu kisses you like its all he can do not to stop himself every second of every day, a desperate growl of approval leaving him as he does before he pulls away and says,
"I will never get over how soft ya make me love, never!"

Tumblr media
Neteyam has many titles he holds. Some that he took on willingly and others that were pushed upon him. From being the oldest son of Toruk Makto to the strongest warrior in his clan. From being the future olo'ekytan to being a protector for his reckless siblings. However, if you were to ask him what his favourite title would be...
The one he takes most seriously... His answer would always be – being your mate. It was what gave all the other roles in Neteyam's life meaning. For being Toruk Makto's eldest son meant nothing if he could not make you proud. Being the best warrior meant nothing if he could not protect you from all the horrors of the world. For future olo'ekytan meant nothing if you weren't his Tsahik...
Your mate, his proudest title yet... And it is exactly why everyone knows, this clan or the next, that in the morning hours of the day when the little ones of the clan still sleep, and the sun has just begin to light the forest casting soft rays of light through the tree branches, to not go looking for their olo'ekytan.
For those few hours, before the world became a whirlwind of responsibilities that Neteyam has to hold, he holds the one thing he wants to; you. It's where he finds himself right now. His eyes lidded and lovesick as he looks up at your giggling face.
He lay on his back, with his knees bent and feet on the ground. The soft grass tickling his azure skin as he trailed his hands up your sides, basking in your laughter. You sat with your legs on either side of Neteyam's waist as you twitched at the tickling sensation of his hands, whining and trying to lean back. Neteyam could only chuckle at your soft noises, before pulling you back upright with a firm grip of your waist. He lightly pinched your side as mock punishment for thinking you could get away. He would always pull you back to him. He watched you scrunch up your nose as you complained,
"Neteyammm... stop that it's ticklish..." your body shuddering as Neteyam's hands reached the bottom of your breasts. His thumbs going back and forth over your soft curves. He let his hands drift as he pretended to ponder the answer before teasing you back,
"Hmmm let me think about it... nope" you huffed in response. Neteyams hands ran over the curve of your breasts before coming to hold your shoulders. His hands softly massaging the skin there before they drifted over your collarbones.
"And why not?" Your own hands coming to rest on the smooth planes of his chest as you steadied yourself on Neteyam.
"Because..." An idea slowly formed in your head as your small curious hands looked for Neteyams on your body.
"Because what?" You slowly pulled his hands of you, intertwining your fingers as you did so, smiling at the difference in the size. Both your hands playing in the air as Neteyam replied,
"Because its making you all cute and sweet which in return is making me want to kiss you..." You leaned your face forward at his soft words and just as Neteyam craned his neck forward, excited about his well deserving kiss. You tightened both legs on either side of his waist, pinning him with your full weight as your pinned his hands on either side of his head. Neteyam's eyes widened as he tried in vain to move his torso. Above him your hair swayed to one side, your giggles taking over the clearing as you cheered in victory,
"There! your wandering hands can't make a mess of me now" You sealed the words with a quick kiss to his cheek. And although Neteyam preened under even the softest of affections from you, he lay in shock at the fact that his delicate mate had thought she could pin him down. He let you enjoy your little victory for a minute, his face relaxing at the giggles that were still decorating the air. He took in your glee as he firmly planted his own feet on the ground...
And in the next minute he was flipping you two over. He hardly used any strength, his own body weight more than enough to reverse your positions. He pinned your hands on either side of your head, as he now straddled your waist, keeping most of his weight on his knees. He watched you try in vain to push him off but it was an exercise in futility. You huffed loudly, your cheeks puffing out, your hair splayed out around you like a halo. This time Neteyam laughed a full bellied laugh at your unhappy expression,
"Not fair Neteeee..." But Neteyam cared not for your whining. All he could see was the soft plush of your lips as your big eyes looked up at him in mock anger. Your freckled skin, something he hoped your future children would take after, glowing. Neteyam finally leaned in, fiercely pressing his own lips to yours. What started of as firm kiss turned into something soft and tender as he let go of your hands. Instead he cupped your cheeks lightly pulling you up with him before you both separated. Your eyes were wide as you looked up at your smiling mate before you groaned. Neteyam didn't even need his hands to make a mess of you. All he had to do was smile like he was doing right now. You squeezed your eyes shut, hands coming to cover your blushing face but Neteyam simply laughed once more as he made himself comfortable on top of your body. His head coming to rest in the junction of your neck and shoulder as he pressed loose kisses to your skin,
"Eywa you are too precious..." he muttered "You are my jewel... my lovely little star and i'll be damned if anyone ever says otherwise..." The final words were said with a fierce look in his eyes as he pulled away to look at you and make sure you understood. You just softly smiled at your warrior... Your mate,
"Your mate Neteyam... Always"

heyy hows it going?
Helluuuu luv!!
Thank you for asking and in short I am a fragmented soul of a human being right now. (Ps: for those who want an update on Stupid or TFG it is below lol)
I currently can't see so have no idea how I am typing this. My inbox is filled very mean humans who don't seem to understand that being a fic writer is basically having a job without being paid for it and demand i write like a machine. Nor do people realise that if they request small stuff of the prompt list that they will still get writing so there is that. I ended up getting a standard defferal for my courses and need to complete that. Am taking four courses otherwise and have to find an internship somehow in all this mess soooooo yeah but I suppose you asked in reference to either Stupid or taken for granted lol
so an update for those; I am currently working on both of them and hopefully will have them out by the end of the month. The problem with the Neteyam fic is i don't know how to start Part 3. I have the middle and the ending but Im trying to decide where I need to pick up from. Do i either want to be like flash forward a month where you guys kind of reconciled but you're acting weird and Nete ends up grovelling or do I start from exactly where we left of and like how Neteyam like basically ends up crumbling and you are the one who has to kind of help him by being like i still love you and all that... Does this make sense?
For TFG its the opposite problem... I have a start which is all fluffy and like past memories but I don't know where to go from there.... Any suggestions??

Any updates on stupid??? Not rushingI just wanna know what’s the update on life and the story
Hellluu luv!!
It’s all good and thank you for being polite!! Like my haikyuu fic everything is on a back burner cause well uni and a stats course that has made me cry more times than I want to admit. Soooo it won’t be anytime soon BUT it will come out most probably in may ish!!
I Hope that gives everyone some clarity and on a separate note you guys realise that if you request stuff of the prompt list you will still be getting some writing… moreover doing that helps a writer keep their desire to write fresh and yeah i dont know i wish ppl asked for stuff from the prompt list cause it may not be long but it would be something cute that would help everyone… but it’s all g
Long story short: not this month but soon!!

i am so sorry like i am not trying to rush u or anything at all 😭😭 but are u ever gonna do a part 2 for the 'taken for granted' msby fic? i am just genuinely asking cuz i love the angst so much
Helluuuu anon!!
First of you aren’t rushing and thank you for being polite (unlike some other messages I have gotten) and apparently to the relief of many of you I do plan on posting it!! Just not anytime soon because…well life…
I had like the general start of the fix done and was planning on moving onto the actual like grovelling and for lack of better word reconciliation before Uni started kicking my ass. Especially this last term cause I have 5 courses one which is a stats course and if I could pay someone to do it for me I would… like that’s how bad I am at it and so all my writing has taken a back burner… 😭😭
Long story short: I do plan to post it just not anytime soon! Most probably in may ish cause my exams end 27th and then I need to sleep (since I haven’t in like days/ months)
I am really greatful for everyone’s patience and hopefully I will live up to everyone’s expectations for it!! ❤️❤️🥹

Tumblr media
Neteyam x Reader (Na’vi) (aged up everyone)
PART 1!
Synopsis: “And at the request of _____ parents you both will not be allowed to see or meet her until she has healed...” or the part where Neteyam faces the consequences of his words.
Warnings: Build up to the grovelling lol is that a warning, angry parents, definitely some harsh language and cussing and thats all for now I think. let me know if there are more
Updated Notes: So here it is. Sorry guys it was becoming too long and I didn’t have a choice but to break it into parts but hopefully you guys will still like it. If there is demand I shall make a part 3!
I hope it lives up to your guys expectations and hopefully you guys like jealous, protective Neteyam. I kind of want to make a Neteyam x human!reader fic as well so feel free to drop some ideas.
I also created and OC for this fic and I am getting quite attached to him lol but yeah as always like, request and reblog!!
much love <3
Tumblr media
Continuation:
“Fuck Yawne I am sorry… shit sweetheart please, please, please look at me… Y/N I swear I didn’t mean to–”
Neteyam’s soft apologies were interrupted by the clearing of a throat. Head snapping to the entrance of the tent to tell whichever family member it was to go away. Only it wasn’t a family member...
It was Neteyam’s most disliked person in the clan and probably anywhere... Àumok...
Neteyam’s eyes narrowed. Being the olo’ekytans son meant that Neteyam had to be diplomatic and friendly with each and every person of the clan. Like all other expectations thrust upon him it was one he lived up to. He was loved and respected by all of his people. The oldest son of Toruk Makto. The ever responsible and calm boy who was always willing to lend a helping hand and although he was often teased for this by his warrior peer mates, they also held a great amount of admiration and respect for the best of them all. Everyone fell into the odd gravitational pull that Neteyam had, well all but Àumok.
Neteyam’s irritation towards Àumok had started young, driven by how close his family was to yours because even as children Neteyam knew that you were meant to be in his life for a long time, though at that age ‘mate’ was the last word that would have come to mind. This intuitive feeling meant young Neteyam had made it his mission to be your best friend and protector. Yet at the time it felt like no matter how close he was to you, your parents always left you in the care of Àumok’s family and not his. Neteyam could still remember being 8 and feeling his stomach roil at seeing your hand in Àumok’s as his older brother led you both into their family tent. That still hadn’t driven Neteyam to use the word hate because you still became his best friend and at that age that was more than enough.
The true and genuine dislike for Àumok began around the age of 14 when Neteyam found out two things; first that Àumok had been picking on you and second that it was because he wanted to court you. It was your first time seeing the extent of Neteyam’s protectiveness and you still remember your surprise at how dark the usually kind boy could become if requested I can write a mini one-shot about this. It had taken all their collective friends to talk Neteyam down from finding Àumok and showing him why Neteyam was the best warrior...
It had been almost 7 years since then and although it was never a question about who your affections belonged to, it was clear the other boy still cared for you and that always caused Neteyam’s heart to beat uncomfortably in his chest. It was only aggravated by the fact that it was Àumok that saved you today and not your own mate. And now the idiot stood at the entrance of Neteyam’s grandmother's hut, a brow raised in question about the scene he walked in on. Àumok hesitated before speaking…
“I’m sorry _____ am I interrupting anything?” Àumok asked. Voice soft and eyes looking only at you.
“Yes!” Neteyam growled.
“No no, not at all Àumok. What do you need?” You spoke at the same time.
Neteyam turned his gaze on you. Eyes that had been apologetic and sad, once again frustrated with a twinge of hurt in them but you would not meet his gaze. You weren’t doing it to hurt Neteyam’s feelings. You just knew that if you did look at him right now, you would feel hurt all over again and start crying. And you just knew Àumok would jump at any opportunity to make Neteyam look bad. He would run to your siblings and you did not think you had the energy for their well placed yet incessant questions and concerns. Plus your relationship with your mate was yours and yours alone. You did not want anyone meddling. Neteyam tried desperately to meet your eyes but there was little he could do in someone else’s company. You just gazed at something past Àumok after furiously wiping your cheeks, a watery smile painted on your face as you jumped at the distraction.
“Don’t need anything... I just... you know wanted to see how you were doing? and whether you needed anything... looks like you’ve been crying so it must hurt huh?” Àumoks eyes were too tender for Neteyam’s liking.
“Aaah how nice of you Àumok but yes I’m doing better and I don’t need anything, thank you for offering... and well also for saving me... It was pretty stupid to do that huh? But yeah I owe you one I guess!”
Any annoyance built up in Neteyam again fizzled out as he withered when you unintentionally referred to the word he had carelessly thrown out, your pretty eyes once again filling with tears.
“Mhmm reckless maybe but as the oldest there you were protecting the children with you… that wasn’t stupid… I'm sure some would call it brave even” The hiss that tried crawling up Neteyam’s chest at Àumok’s praise died, a whimper trying to fight it’s way out when he finally saw a smile on your face. It hurt all the more when he realised he wasn’t the cause of it. Instead he had been the cause of your sadness.
Neteyam watched you with frustrated and hurt eyes, certain that he resembled a pouty toddler but he couldn’t help it. Neteyam knew exactly what you were doing and he hated it...
Everyone had different responses to stressful situations that evoked fear and though admittedly it took Neteyam an embarrassingly long time to recognise yours, he now knew it was avoidance and silence. It had been that way since you were children. Someone would hurt your feelings, say something harsh, you would go silent, face painted with vulnerability and then the distance would come. A distance that was sometimes so hard to recognise because you would act as if nothing had changed, that everything was fine but your eyes never lied... They were the one thing about you that had always been so easy to read, at least for Neteyam and in times like these, they would hold this discomfort like a misplaced puzzle piece that was beginning to ache. The worst part is that it would take so long to ease and Neteyam doesn't even know whether you realised this about yourself or not but regardless it was the one thing he hated.
He had friends who complained about their mates who got angry and shouted, mates who were too head-strong and stubborn to even admit they were in the wrong... but honestly, for Neteyam, he could stand you being angry at him. He could stand you being frustrated and yelling at him. Hell he would never admit it but he lived for the moments he got to see you be determined and talk back to anyone else but specifically him because it meant you were letting him in. It meant he was privy to what you felt and in an odd way it was intimate. What he could not stand was the silence and the distance. He had only ever been on the receiving end of it once and it had nearly torn him apart. The only solution Neteyam had found as of now was to not give you the space and distance to overthink. But today luck was not on his side because even after a good 20 minutes, Àumok was still there. Sweet talking you as if your future mate wasn’t sitting right next to you and Neteyam felt his chances of reconciliation slipping away.
“Would you like to be taken back to your hammock now ____? I could carry you… I am sure you want to reassure your family that you are safe and okay…  I can tell you for certain both my brothers and your siblings would love to hear from you…”
Àumok offered warmly, a smile on his face that had Neteyam sucking in a breath through clenched teeth. His instincts kicking in as he had finally had enough of the other warrior acting as if your mate wasn’t sitting next to you, stiff as a rock trying his best to be there for you no matter how much he had fucked up earlier. How dare Àumok offer to carry you when your mate was sitting right there, hands clenched so as to give you the space you had demanded?
You may be angry with Neteyam right now but he would be there through it. He would take your anger and still care for you because... You were Neteyam’s. You in all your delicate, devastatingly adorable glory were Neteyam’s... Neteyam’s to carry, to love, to care for… you were his to reassure and to protect. You were a part of his family and he was going to get that through Àumoks thick skull even if that was the last thing he ever did.
Before you could decline the offer, knowing that as sweet as Àumok was trying to be, much of this was driven by him wanting to agitate Neteyam and also because you knew that was too far a line to be crossing. Plus as much as you loved your family they were slightly crazy and you did not have the energy to placate the bunch right now. Neteyam finally stood up to his full height and interjected,
“No. No ____ would not like to be taken to her hut right now because if you knew a single thing about her like you keep pretending to, you would know that after any hectic event at all, let alone as scary as one like this, she gets exhausted and prefers moments of solitude... to be calm before attempting to calm her family. You have known her family for so long… so many nights where her parents have left her in the care of your family and you could not learn this small thing about her?”
Neteyam had taken long strides towards the other boy. Now toe to toe with him, Neteyam would be lying if he said he wasn’t smug about being taller than Àumok. Neteyam finally said words that had been sitting on his chest for a while,
“I have been patient with you for too long Àumok... disregarding your disrespect towards my relationship with my mate in respect for your family's long relationship with ____ and mine but... try pretending that I am not ____ mate again… that she is not mine to care for, mine to hold and protect, mine to reassure, love and do so much more with and I promise you not just as future olo’ekytan but as the best warrior among the clan that you will be left without a clan to belong to… Are we understood?”
Neteyam’s finger was raised poking into Àumok’s chest as they stared each other down. Àumoks expression shifting from shock to indignation, then anger as he saw the challenge in Neteyams eyes. Truthfully he had continued pursuing you despite Neteyam’s obvious claim over you because he always felt that Neteyam was too docile... too diplomatic. Never willing to get his hands dirty to fight for what he wanted and Àumok cared for you too much to let you end up with a man who he believed may not deserve you.
The atmosphere in that small hut was too charged for your exhausted body and you felt your head swim, a bout of oncoming nausea making you clamp a mouth over your mouth. You tried to get up and get the attention of either male but both boys were so caught in wanting to challenge the other they didn’t watch as you hefted yourself up using your arms. This simple act knocked the wind out of you. You wanted so badly to get some air before resting. Wanting to forget all about this horrifying day, the pain you were in and Neteyam’s hurtful words but before you could speak you were once again interrupted. You realised right then that you would have to be the adult in this situation as you thought about finding a way to walk around the boys...
Àumok knew that his next words would be dangerous not only because it meant he eavesdropped on a conversation that he had no right to be privy to or because he was talking to the future olo’ekytan, no. They would be dangerous because of you… and yet as Neteyam was turning back to you Àumok let them slip anyway, hissing as he did so,
“If you, mighty warrior Neteyam, are as caring for your mate, as loving as you say you are then you wouldn’t have treated her like a child, berating her when she needed you… instead calling her stupid and hurting her feelings for all her loved ones to hear outside… for your rival to hear… You may be a better warrior than me but you will never be a better mate than me Netey–”
Before Àumok could finish Neteyam had turned around and lunged for him. Tackling Àumok to the ground and landing the first punch. Neteyam used the other boys confusion against him as he pinned Àumok to the floor and punched him again, braids swinging wildly as he did so. He went to throw a third punch when he felt himself being dragged off by two sets of arms, one going under both his arms and the other set around his waist. He turned to wildly hiss at the people pulling him off, wanting to finish the obvious challenge only to find his brother and yours behind him.
Lo’ak had Neteyam by the waist and though Neteyam could see the spark of rebellious excitement in his brother's eyes, he also saw the worry as Lo’ak silently pleaded for Neteyam to calm down. Your own brother, a tall and strong boy that Neteyam got along with, looked like he would want to be anywhere else than holding one of his mentors back. Neteyam, still clouded by anger, insecurity and hurt growled before shaking them off and standing up properly. In front of them Àumok jumped up, ready to pounce on Neteyam and return the favour. Only to be stopped by his own brothers who were glaring at the youngest in their family. A silent command to stand down. Àumok could only scoff before standing up as well, swiping roughly at his lip with the back of his hand. Blood staining the skin there. One of his brothers gripped his shoulder tightly. It was only then, as Neteyam took deep breath while looking at his brother... who was standing where you should have been sitting that he realised your absence. Eyes widening, he whirled around to the entrance. Àumok coming to the same realisation and doing the same...
And there with the flap thrown wide open stood multiple people that made Neteyam gulp. His eyes first found the eyes of his sisters, Kiri doing her absolute best not to double over laughing as she slapped a hand over her mouth. Tuk stood next to Kiri, pulling on her throw and whining while trying to understand what was happening. Neteyam's eyes then landed on your siblings who stood with his own and another one of Àumok’s, expressions varying between amusement, confusion and anger. He felt his ears burn in embarrassment, however they all blurred into the background when Neteyam’s eyes finally landed on the one person he was always looking for. You stood between his mother and father, trying your best not to fall over. Not just from exhaustion but pain, as you put all your weight on your good leg.
You had very quickly realised that this wasn’t a situation you were equipped to mediate and as childish as you had felt hobbling on one leg to go find some kind of authority figure. Someone whose voice would have held more weight, you had been unspeakably grateful when Jake had caught sight of you stumbling around, practically limp. He had rushed over with Neytiri in tow and quickly pulled you into his arms. Asking you why you were crazy enough to walk after the day and injury you had. A quick explanation had both adults narrowing their eyes in anger and stalking to the healing hut, catching the finishing statement of Àumoks and then the fight.
Neteyam’s mother was pressed into your side, arm around your shoulders as she sent a murderous glare towards Àumok. Anger directed more at the boy who always seemed to be troubling her eldest and his mate, rather than her own son. Neteyam’s father stood just a little behind you, his chest was pressed into your back, making you lean most of your weight into him with an arm wrapped around your waist. Jake’s glare was trained on his eldest, eyes narrowed in a way that had Neteyam curling into himself. Your eyes were barely open and you seemed ready to drop. For the third time in the span of a few hours Neteyam felt any anger fizzle out only this time to be replaced by an overwhelming amount of guilt as his shoulders dropped all their tension. The boys behind him finally relaxed as well when they saw the tension leave Neteyams body, releasing their own breaths. They stepped around him and made their way to stand next to the other siblings and behind the adults. Neteyam knew he should look down and away from his parents who were no doubt thinking of ways to punish their oldest but Neteyam couldn’t. His eyes remained trained on your face watching your breaths come out in short pants. He could feel his own chest tighten wanting to reach out to you, to tell you he was so fucking sorry but he couldn’t. His head was clearing up of all the chaotic emotions that had overrun him this past hour or so and the rational Neteyam that everyone loved knew well enough, especially by the look in his parents eyes, that saying anything right now would get him beat. Instead he walked to be standing in line with Àumok waiting for the punishment that Neteyam could not say was not well deserved. Neteyam just prayed Àumok knew to keep his mouth shut and not make the situation any worse but unfortunately that was not the case...
“Olo’ekytan I swear this is a–”
He was instantly silenced by Neytiri who hissed menacingly.
“Quiet boy! You speak when spoken to!”
She let go of you, stepping forward to deliver a deserved scolding. She let Jake curl you into his body and rest your unusually heavy head on his chest, the hand not wrapped around your waist curling around the back of your head to quietly shush you. You whined about having to shift your bruised body and Jake lightly pat your head, voice lowly asking if you were alright. Like Neytiri, Jake saw you as one of his own having raised you just as much as his own kids and seeing you in this state. Not just physically but emotionally and mentally all because of his two idiot sons had him furious. But in this moment he knew to let Neytiri handle the situation instead focusing on helping you. Kiri sweetly coming to you with some water in her hand, cooing at you to drink it. Neteyam watched the tender moment, stomach roiling that he wasn’t the one caring for you but everyones attention was bought back to Neytiri who growled lowly in her throat,
“You are no longer children… you are men! Men of the clan meant to set examples for those younger to you and yet you fight like children who don’t know what to do. It is embarrassing!”
She spat, both boys flinching at her words. She turned to Neteyam, gaze icy though not as angry as when she glared at Àumok and that made him feel somewhat better.
“Is this how we raised you? Harsh words thrown at she who you love… to treat a mate with such anger... Kehe! I have taught you better... your father and I have shown you better… She gave you every reason and more to say she's yours proudly… you have to do the same and it starts with being kind”
Neteyam deflated once more but before Àumok could feel too smug about the scolding that his counter received, Neytiri was turning on him. Voice so much colder
“And you... There is a well drawn line between an endearing childish infatuation one should outgrow and disrespect towards your fellow warrior and his mate… has the clan not taught you values huh? Have the elders raised you wrong for you to not show respect towards the women who care for you, heal you even when they perhaps shouldn’t. Has the olo’ekytan not taught you respect towards your fellow men that fight beside you… to try and lay claim on the mate of another is  grounds for challenge of course… but to disregard the emotions of and try to lay claim on a girl who you grew up to call family… who has told you time and time again where her affections lie calls for punishment.”
Neytiri’s final words were hissed towards both boys as they stumbled back in fear. Neteyam felt his breath hitch, a bad feeling settling in his stomach. He still had not had a chance to apologise and he could see this leading to distance from you that he just couldn’t take. It worsened especially as he watched his father succumb to your pleas to be allowed to rest. Arms scooping your figure up, a sigh leaving the older man's lips. Neteyam couldn’t take it anymore as he took steps towards you, wanting to take you from his fathers arms, words escaping him before he could stop them,
“Yawne, please I am really am sorry but please let me take you home... I’ll take care of you I promi–”
But Neteyam was cut off by Neytiri, deciding to tell them both the chosen consequences set by the three sets of parents involved.
“One... For the coming month you both are responsible for training the third regiment of warriors together. Àumok your parents agree with Jake and I, that you and Neteyam need to learn cooperation and we hope this will in-still some kind of responsibility in you. Two... unless its for raids or for training no flying for a month and finally...”
As much as neither boy liked the sound of this, it did not seem nearly as bad as it could have been. Neytiri trailing off giving them the wrong idea. The mother had only trailed off because she knew her oldest child better than anyone, and she knew that the third part of this punishment would hurt him more than anyone understood. However, she had little choice as It was a punishment requested by your family and since your health was the one put in jeopardy Neytiri could not have argued. It didn’t help that Jake had agreed and now that she needed to break the news to her son she found her voice uncooperative. Jake who had been preparing to take a limp you home, finally spoke up recognising his wife’s hesitance, his voice deep, gravely and ringing with a sense of finality that had Neteyam’s heart sinking,
“And at the request of _____ family you both will not be allowed to see or meet her until she is healed.”

Stupid… (Neteyam x reader)
Tumblr media
Neteyam x Reader (Na’vi) (aged up everyone)
Synopsis: “Fuck Yawne I am sorry… shit sweetheart please, please, please look at me… Y/N I swear I didn’t mean to–” or where you were reckless with your actions and Neteyam with his words
Warnings: Harsh words I guess and like one curse word.
Updated Notes: based on the response will definitely make a part 2 lol
Also I don’t usually do tag lists but I will for this and as of right now it’s closed cause there are 50 of you guys and one of me 🥲
Until I finish it please please request from my prompt list I’ll be more than happy to write for any of the avatar characters! <3

Stupid…
Stupid, stupid, stupid little you!
Stupid you with your big doe eyes that no one, especially Neteyam, could ever say no to. Stupid you and your wide smile that always seemed to make everyone but particularly Neteyam completely melt, especially when he was the reason for it. Stupid you and your stupid cute little giggle that had him feeling twirly like a little na’vi getting their first courting gift… Stupid you and your stupid adorable little ears that let anyone who was paying attention, know exactly what you were feeling, no matter how blank you managed to keep your expression. Just stupid you and your pretty little neck that had Neteyam clenching his hands into fists by his side, trying his very best not to reach up in-front of everyone and cup the sides, letting his thumbs softly stroke your pulse point an instinctive action to make him breathe easier…

I’m sorry if I’m mixing you up with another author but I’m almost 80% certain it was you?
At one point did you have a Beel fic with a reckless(?) reader and that upset the brothers, and Beel took us away to patch us up, and then I believe Belphie was being teased about being added? And it started leaning toward spicy stuff?
I’m sorry if I’m wrong about this 😭
Helluuu anon!!
Yes that was me haha and you're all good. Yes I did write that fix but then removed it cause well it was just too forced... it didn't go in the direction I wanted it to go in and It felt too unnatural so I eventually just removed it. I am sorry If you liked it I just didn't feel happy about it you know. Hopefully my other fics made up for it.

hi! i just read your neteyam fic and omg i need part 2!! i loved how you wrote the story and genuinely felt upset reading the part where he’s scolding the reader LOL but yes!! part 2 would be lovely!
Heyyyyo hehehe yes part 2 is on the way lovely but I am struggling a little bit. To be honest I never expected it to blow up like this because I have never really written for Avatar and was just taking it as a break from Haikyuu but now am super invested but I never meant to make it so long. So I am debating wether to break it into another part. It would help to hear from you guys since you all are the readers and depends on what you prefer you know. so yeah lmk guys
PS: if you do say i should break it into parts I can put up the second part up like in a day or so
for those who want to read it. Its called Stupid <3

Stupid...
Stupid, stupid, stupid little you!
Stupid you with your big doe eyes that no one, especially Neteyam, could ever say no to. Stupid you and your wide smile that always seemed to make everyone but particularly Neteyam completely melt, especially when he was the reason for it. Stupid you and your stupid cute little giggle that had him feeling twirly like a little na’vi getting their first courting gift... Stupid you and your stupid adorable little ears that let anyone who was paying attention, know exactly what you were feeling, no matter how blank you managed to keep your expression. Just stupid you and your pretty little neck that had Neteyam clenching his hands into fists by his side, trying his very best not to reach up in-front of everyone and cup the sides, letting his thumbs softly stroke your pulse point an instinctive action to make him breathe easier...
But most of all, you and your stupid stupid stupid tender little heart that seemed to put anyone and everyone above yourself. Stupid because if you didn’t have this tender heart that made you so incredibly sweet, and reckless then Neteyam would not be here right now. Had you just been a little less selfless and run when his sisters told you to rather than throw yourself between an even stupider Lo’ak and a viperwolf then Neteyam wouldn’t be here right now!
Squatting at the entrance of the healing hut, having to watch his sisters and mother hold your hands and stroke your head as his grandmother tried her best to swiftly sew you up. You were sitting up next to his mother curling into her neck as she ran her hands through your open hair, while Tuk sat by your side and wiped your face off the dried blood and grime. Kiri was was squatting by your feet, her hands running up and down your calves in a futile attempt to soothe you... oh how Neteyam wished none of them had to be here. You just had to be a little less... delicate
Neteyam did not want to be here, feeling every muscle in his body jump every time a sound of pain escaped you and your entire body tensed. He didn’t want to be sitting and feeling every heartbeat of his rattle against his ribcage at the thought that he could have lost you today and he wouldn’t even have known about it had he not forced Lo’ak to talk! Had you been more careful he wouldn’t have had to almost wrestle his father in an attempt to try and get into the tent, only being allowed in if he promised to be quiet the whole time. And most of all Neteyam would not have been sitting here and stewing in rage, while waiting to have a moment alone with you just so he could tell you all of this and more...
The logical side of Neteyam knew that all of this anger and rage, all the harsh words that would eventually spill out were being driven by his fear. That when he calmed down and his mind was rational once more he would understand why you did what you did... Heck he would probably be grateful because you saved his baby brother, a job that was usually reserved for him... He would take one look at those big eyes that screamed innocence and he would completely melt... but right now he didn’t want to be soft on you... right now... just in this second all he could think about was how unbelievably angry he was and how stupid you could be... and that your stupidity could have cost you your life!
You did not know how long it had been since Lo’ak, and Àumok, a warrior friend of your family's, had carried you to Mo’at’s hut and you did not particularly care to know. All you could focus on was the sting of the needle that was being pushed through the skin of your thigh as you did your best not pass out. If anyone asked you the exact events of today and how it had led to you being stitched up by your future mates grandmother as you did your best to avoid said mates glare, your only answer would be a shrug because you yourself did not know. One minute you were having a little adventure with the Sully children, with the exception of the oldest, the next thing you knew you were being carried by a horrified Àumok, as you had thrown yourself between a defenceless Lo’ak and an adult viperwolf. The only clear memory you have is of making the two warrior boys promise not to let Neteyam enter the tent. You should have known that was an exercise in futility...
Neteyam was a calm and patient man about many things. He was calm and patient about his role as the eldest son of the olo’ekytan. He was understanding and kind even about all the pressures put on him by the whole clan. He was even calm and patient about being responsible for his younger siblings... The one place his patience ran unbelievably thin was with you. Specifically your safety and health. It had been that way from the very beginning. You had first chalked it up to being an older sibling, having to play the role of protector his whole life making him guarded about his loved ones but as you grew closer you realised it was a lot more than that. Yes he still was protective of his siblings but not in the way he was of you. This overprotectiveness was in everything. From the guarded way he would look at the most innocent interactions between you and other na’vi’s to the way he shielded your eyes from things he deemed too bloody, telling you it wasn’t for you to see. From the feral hiss he let out whenever a sky person seemed to even breathe in your direction to how he had forced his mother to train you in archery for a day that he would not be there to protect you...
It was something you both loved and hated about your relationship. You loved it because it made you feel cherished. It reminded you that you were worth protecting, that you were something to be treasured like all partners should be. It allowed you to be soft and tender in a world where everyone needed to be tough. You loved it because you knew that you could always look up to Neteyam to shield you from everything... But in moments like these, where you could practically feel the disappointment rolling of him in waves were when you hated it. Not just because you would for sure get a lecture about the importance of safety but because of the look in Neteyam’s eyes every time the lecture came on. The fear and hurt that would glisten over always made you feel like crying. Not to mention he scolded like his own father and suffice to say it could be scary.
You were bought out of your thoughts when you finally felt the relief from the soothing balm Mo’at was applying to your leg. Kiri helping her bandage the gashes that even you knew were a little too deep. You would never admit how scared you were at the time but now that you could breathe you realised it and it exhausted you. You finally pulled your head away from Neytiri’s neck, looking up at the woman who has been a second mother to you. Neytiri had been friends with your mother well before she had even met her mate, Jake Sully. The bond between the two woman unbreakable. So when your own mother was not there to worry, fret, and hold you Neytiri would always step in. To her it was like caring for one of her own. She smiled down at you and it was clear that she was grateful for your protection of Lo’ak. And for the first and probably last time tonight you felt proud. Her one arm was wrapped around your shoulders and sat on your collar bones while the other pushed your hair behind your flickering ear.
“You sweet sweet girl... Thank you for saving him”
“Of course Neytiri... Always”
“Next time though run... If not because my younger son does not deserve your kindness then because my older son might just end you.”
As much as you wanted to giggle at the light hearted dig towards both the boys of the house you could only grimace. An expression that deepened as you watched Neteyam stand up, crossing his arms. Even from a distance he seemed to loom over you guys as he impatiently waited, trying to subtly tell the women of his family to leave. It was Mo’at who finally sighed and began to usher her daughter and granddaughters out the door of her healing hut... as much as she wanted to complain she knew now was not the time.
“Come now Tuk... unless you want to feel the wrath of your brother too”
Kiri gave you a sympathetic pat on your calf as the three older woman dragged a whining Tuk out the door. Before the protest could even leave your mouth the three women were gone and you were faced with amber eyes that seemed to be screaming. Neteyam was now squatting where Kiri had been. His eyes leaving your own to scan your body in a way he couldn’t from a distance. You kept your mouth shut knowing when he was ready to talk, he would. Instead you took to studying him and all the expressions he had to offer while he studied your body.
Neteyam started at your small feet, or at least smaller than his. Despite his anger his hands were gentle as he placed both of them on your ankles. He noted the shiver that his touch caused in your body and suppressed the smile that so desperately wanted to come out. He could tell his silence and angry expressions were not reassuring but like earlier, he did not want to be soft on you right now. He let his fingertips trail up your shins, noting each cut, big and small, with a click of his tongue. Each discoloured bruise was paired with a scalding glare and you felt yourself wither under it. It’s only when his hands reached mid thigh, trailing the edge of the white bandage hiding the nasty gashes did he finally speak. A single word that was spat out with venom before the dam broke and Neteyam let every angry thought become public...maybe even some he should not have...
“Stupid... that is what you are... a stupid stupid stupid woman! what were you thinking? No sorry you clearly weren’t thinking because if you had you would have had the common sense to run... Run, climb a tree eywa do anything else other than throw yourself between a viperwolf and my brother... and just so you understand how stupid this was my idiotic brother is a warrior... good or not he is a warrior... he would have and should have taken the brunt of this... not a civilian and especially not you! what would you have done if Àumok had not heard Kiri’s calls hmm? Would you have just let that animal eat you? Do you understand that you are not some hero in this scenario? You were a stupid child who ended up almost dead because she was too fucking reckless!”
Neteyam was so blinded by his own rage and fear that he did not stop to consider his words, even when he ran out of them. No, his eyes just remained on the bandage that covered the horrible gashes as his breathing settled down. He took one last deep breath, eyes closed and hands trembling against your skin, shaking in the aftermath of releasing his emotions. It was only when he opened his eyes and settled them on your face did the gravity of his harsh words settle in his mind. His own facial expression slacking as your facial expression broke his heart all over again but this time from remorse. He watched speechlessly as you sat upright head bent over just slightly. Your open hair falling to one side as your shoulders silently shook. Tears had collected against your lash line before trailing down your cheek and over the hand you had slapped against your own mouth, trying your best not to let out a sound.
You didn’t even bother to look at Neteyam when he finished speaking not thinking he would want to look at you right now. You kept your gaze on your own lap as you mulled over the words he threw your way. You knew he was angry and he had a right to be. Your entire family was probably fuming and as your future mate Neteyam had the most right to be. If you were in his position you would have been just as scared and angry if not more. But you never thought Neteyam, your Neteyam would throw words this harsh your way. Especially not when all you needed was someone to hug you and tell you you were okay and that you were safe. You felt just oh so small even though you know that was not his intention to make you feel that way, but you were in pain, you were tired and everything seemed to be catching up to you now. You continued to look down at your lap and hold back tears that would not stop. For the first time you wished to be away from your Neteyam...
Neteyam stayed still for a moment watching his love, his girl, his mate try to muffle soft hiccups as she tried to hide her exhaustion, pain and sadness from him before he was jumping into action. Jumping over your legs and to your side. Long limbs stretching out as he tried to get you to look at him. It’s only now that he realised that he should have first hugged you, first held you close while reminding you that you were safe, that you were okay, that you would always be protected with him... but the warrior overrode the mate and now he ended up scaring you more on a day that was already terrifying. Any lingering anger and frustration was ripped from his system when you moved away from his touch. It was replaced instead with guilt and sadness as he once again tried to pull your hand away from your face and pull your body into his...
“Fuck Yawne I am sorry... shit sweetheart please, please, please look at me... Y/N I swear I didn’t mean to–”
Neteyam’s soft apologies were interrupted by the clearing of a throat, head snapping to the entrance of the tent to tell whichever family member it was to go away. Only it wasn’t a family member...

Fall... no strings attached (sakusa x reader)
Tumblr media
“You know what Kiyoomi? No! Just No you don’t get to do this. Not again and certainly not now. You have time, and time again, up and left me when things got too difficult... You have shown me nothing but an open door and your back as you left me every time things got too tough for you. Somehow I have always been the straw that breaks the camel’s back and all I know from you now is that I... this whatever we are will be too much for you!”
Your chest heaved and your mind raced as you continued your monologue that for so long had been an inner one.
“You. Do. Not get to set a precedent of leaving when things get tough and then get mad at me for being prepared for that moment... you hear me? You don’t get to set that expectation and then feel upset when I behave accordingly!”
Kiyoomi watched with widened eyes as you said words... spilled out feelings that had been bottled up for so long. Words that you had never said after each time he left in fear that he would leave again finally spilling out. You were tired, just oh so tired of always feeling like an add on accessory to the grand life that Kiyoomi led.
“You want me to trust you? Is that you want Kiyoomi? to fall no strings attached? then you do it first! Prove to me that you’ll fall with me. Prove that you’ll stick around and I’ll let go... no strings attached... But until then deal with it.”
Your voice returned to its normal decibel as you lay out what you felt for him before you turned on your heel. Aggressively wiping at the dried tear tracks on your red cheeks storming out of Kiyoomi’s apartment, duffel bag in hand. The very bag that caused this whole argument.
Tumblr media
I’m still not back... this is just an old draft of an idea that is technically unfinished... <3

I know you had innocent intentions sending this in or at least no intentions that warrant this much anger on my part but my inbox has 85 such asks about the fact that it’s been too long or requests for tag list when I have clearly put it that tag lists are closed
I have tried to compensate by putting up a prompt list and also posting pieces I wasn’t ready to post but people don’t seem to care so like I’m at my wits end
…im seriously considering patreon or at least setting up a tips of kofi
…There is an apology in the tags for all the nice readers…😭😭😭
