obviously people steal ideas from other people it's one of the oldest tricks in the book but it still always surprises me to learn that people plagiarise things because my introduction to the concept was basically being told that if i ever plagiarised anything i would be executed by firing squad and my head would be removed and displayed on a spike outside the walls of the hallowed academic institution i was attending as a warning to others

I want to die.

I wish the thought scared me more than it does. I wish these thoughts would haunt me, chase me, chain me — but truly, and after so long, they just keep me company. A constant presence, a welcome weight that keeps my lungs for collapsing under all of the breaths I held and lost throughout the years I didn't say I word.

I wish Death was something I could regret.

And wishing that it was doesn't mean I still hold some love for living; oh, no. The pain is what makes me this walking controversy of a living person, and the hope is just inherently human. I want to die, but I wish I didn't. I wish there was more to this life than wasting away.

There isn't. Not now, and there haven't been for so long. The screams get louder, and all the same. The sting is sharper, and I'm to blame. This life, it shatters — and it's just vain.

I want to die.

And there's no more poetry for that.
