Astarion: [startles at the raised voice, lets go of Tav's wrist, reclaims it and goes back to his breakfast once he realises they're not talking to him]

Gale: [reluctantly spits out a powerful magical artefact into Tav's outstretched hand]

I've been completely blindsided by how EXTREMELY Likeable every companion is in Baldur's Gate 3
Whenever I loot a magical item I get excited when it says "Gale can eat this :)" --- like I'm going grocery shopping for his snacks ( ꈍᴗꈍ) -- and he's not even in my party right now
When Karlach and Astarion banter I stop dead in my tracks to make sure I don't miss what they have to say
I have Shadowheart try on every silly little hat that I find (usually none are better than the witch hat ◉‿◉ she's my little cleric witch teehee)
I'm always heading back to camp for no reason just to chat with Wyll
La'zael makes me giggle, blush, and kick my feet and I'm not even romancing her in this playthrough :')
Scratch is best boy ever!!!! My two favorite bg3 characters are sweet boys with white hair and sharp teeth, and only Scratch can get headpats
And those are just the characters I've met!!!! I'm legitimately excited to meet Halsin and Withers and everyone else you can bring back to camp.

Astarion has to stay glued to Tav’s side at camp at night, or else Scratch will swoop in and take his spot on Tav’s bedroll. It dosn’t help that the Owlbear cub is apart of the mix now, and they both make coordinated efforts to get Astarion away from Tav so they get more cuddle time.
The first thing I thought about was Astarion breaking out of his trance only to find that he was kicked off the bedroll by either Scratch or the owlbear cub >XD
Move this to the indoor camp where everyone has a bed and he'll go to Tav's bed only to find them under both animals leaving NO ROOM for him XD Tav may have to remedy this by making a nest of sorts in front of the fireplace and having the four of them settle there, only Astarion isn't going to be able to sit close to Tav once the owlbear cub squeezes between them and loafs.
He's getting cock blocked by the animals no matter what he does XD
