✨️Let me rant about my landlord✨️

Holy shit!!!!!!

So we moved in in like April and we checked out the flat in the beginning of March. When we checked the place, they told us the fridge had a malfunctioning door, and they also assured us that they will repair it by the time we move in.

Fast forward, the door of the freezer part (that they failed to fix, but was usable at the time) went to shit recently and the fridge started freezing everything so we said that we are going to need a new fridge. Everything was fine with that the landlord said he would get us a new fridge but then it took him literal 2 months to do so??? Anyways we got by we solved it but then he appeared with the new fridge.

First of all

He came alone, and I was supposed to help him carry the new fridge up to the second floor (i'm shorted than the fridge, I couldn't lift it, moving on)

He asked a guy from the street to help and he did and it was solved, but then I was lett to move the fridge inside the apartment on my own. I solved it of course but when I opened the fridge it smelled like someone spent 2 weeks smoking in it. It took me an hour to properly clean and air it out, there were dead spiders in it. Also the model is át least 30 years old, the "new" fridge was older than me.

I "complained" to my boyfriend when he finished work that evening, and when he saw the fridge he calmed himself and called the landlord to ask if this was a temporary solution or some kind of joke, the landlord said it was of course temporary and he will get a new new one. My bf also mentioned that he could have cleaned it before bringing it we will come back to this.

3 days later (today) the landlord calls my bf, literally yelling that he needs to show some respect and some gratitude, he called us poor for not even having a shitty vacuum, (we asked if the flat comes with a vacuum, he offered to get one lmao) and finished by saying that if we can't talk to him with respect, we can leave tomorrow.

He also called my boyfriend "not a real man" cause he mentioned that even if he was here when he arrived with the fridge, he wouldn't have been able to help carry the fridge (he has slight knee problems).

I'm so mad i hate being dependent on a landlords mercy, this is literally ridiculous like my man we are people too omfg

Anyways if you read the whole thing everything is fine, we are not taking it personally and he can't put us out legally, so we'll be fine, he was out of line but we will play some video games now and wait for him to go back to the us and not bother us again.
