Thinking about if Steve was the only one to remember when they reset the timeline (we’ll call it alien shenanigans or something for why he would retain his memories).

The sheer panic he would go through after waking up and realizing everything is back to how it was and nobody else remembered. He already had trouble handling the weirdness in the regular timeline, but then to be isolated or only have Jim as a partner in memories would definitely set him off. He’d be viewed as a complete conspiracy nut like Eli.

I just need a completely frazzled Steve running around school trying to convince everyone that trolls and aliens and wizards exist and that they’re trying to destroy the world, but not all of them because some creepers are good and all the while Jim is alternating between doing damage control and letting Steve dig himself deeper into a hole.

Happy 1st day of #jlaireweek !!!

Day 1 is At the Beach: So, I hc that after becoming human again, Jim can't get enough of the sun and constantly falls asleep while soaking up rays. Claire keeps an eye on him though, and if he starts to get too pink, will cover him in shadow magic that lets him stay warm but not burn.

Other bits: they are older here, 24ish? Claire's used enough heavy magic her hair is almost totally white. Jim's swim trunks were a gag gift from Douxie, but Jim absolutely loves them. Neither of them have aged much due to the amulet/magic. Jim will always be ridiculously skinny and have that same haircut (Claire loves it). His hair bleaches out a bit reddish from being in the sun (he thanks his mom for that).

Sharp eyed viewers may spot a couple of (not really) surprises.

Ok, I don’t think I’ve posted this yet and I don’t know how many months this has been in my head bugging me to post it. I was thinking about Staja and Jlaire one day and how Steve got pregnant by the seventh kiss and this thought entered my head, god knows how many months ago:

After Jim heard about Steve getting pregnant:

Jim: Wait…you guys have only kissed seven times?

Steve: Yeah? We haven’t seen each other much since she went back to Akiridion-5 a while back that first time she came here Jim. Why? How many times have you and Claire kissed?

Jim: Well (begins to get a little more confident)…let’s just say that if Claire was Akiridion, I would’ve been pregnant at least ten times by now.

Claire’s eyes widened overhearing them close to her as she spits out her water.

Sorry, I don’t know why I needed to post this, but it’s a joke that came into my head while texting a friend about rott months ago and I just felt the need to finally post it 🤷‍♀️
