i just started reading mauve desert by nicole brossard and i'm not very far in but it's making me wonder if the people who made love lies bleeding read this book because it's a weird creepy semi-lesbian book that takes place in arizona and one of the characters is a ripped lesbian who's got something kinda off about her
oh look at my hair. its terrible. do you believe this hair cost 10 dollars. 10 DOLLARHS. andre did it. andre of paris on fifth avenue. ill kill that queen andre. well i dont like a set look... yew kneow? i dont like anything that looks too set. i like things a little... things that move. i think things that move are beautiful. like your bust... it moves........ cos you dont wear a bra.
lol @ people trying to argue shit without having read the source material?
someone on fb is trying to argue with me about Withdrawn Traces and about my analysis/writeup, except they haven't finished WT and only read the beginning of my writeup. And then they're talking about the "Richard" novel having not read it, and call it a biography (it's not).
like bro do your research first. i've read pretty much every book/article about the manics and i spent a year researching and writing this analysis, i know more than you.
ahhh i love arguing with people whose arguments don't make any sense. or whose arguments kind of whiff past the core of the issue like they're taking some other parallel track instead of actually talking about what we're talking about.
it cracks me up that carl is "carlos" now in albion rooms insta posts and even sometimes in random music journalism even though that's not actually his name and is just peter's nickname for him
