REFLECTION - Ideal Family
1st Video - Kwentong Jollibee: Pamasko
2nd Video - Kwentong Jollibee Mother's Day Trilogy: Amor
3rd Video - Kwentong Jollibee Father's Day Special: First Love
To be honest all of the videos touched and moved my heart. The first video made my heart crumpled and full of empathy. The second video made me cry. The third video made me smile and Happy. But if I were to choose which among the three, it would be the 2nd video. Why? Because I was so touched by the mothers side that she did her best to feed and make her child go to school without any complaint, hesitation and letting her children know what she's been through. Not until her child notices her weird actions in their house and makes him wonder and follow her mom. We will never know the pain and happiness when we wouldn't know the real reason behind it. It has been a heartfelt true to a life story video. The unconditional love of her mother really hit me.

YOUR PRIMARY LOVE LANGUAGE IS: Words of Affirmation
Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, "I love you," are important—hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten. You thrive on hearing kind and encouraging words that build you up.
To be honest this website made it clear to me. I am a type of a person that will really strive hard and get acknowledged for what I've worked hard for. Those words of affirmation are my inspiration and it gives me strength to continue working on and harder. I also wouldn't believe if they wouldn't say it but also went through some critical thinking and analysis if it's true or not. Bashes, Insults, and whatever negative comments it may/ etc. I will always work hard to get their affirmation and prove them wrong about me. Though I may get emotional about what they've said and will never forget about it, that also gave me more determination.
It is really different if you really heard what you want to hear to that person than not hearing it. And it's more different if you heard it to the person you want to hear saying it than hearing it to others. The test was really quite difficult for me because the choices given would really make me doubt what I really think that statement suits me. It made me think hard and take me more time to answer. But that was worth it, an enjoyable and very mind blowing quiz. It made me know myself more and others too like interactions.

"LOVE"
When we talk about love so many things come to our minds. For it has different types, categories and aspects in different situations we encounter. My love experiences are loving myself, family, a love from and to a friend, loving the things that I do, the love of nature, artworks and music, especially love of God, and many more to mention. Responsibility comes along with love. Love can also be the product of hard work, integrity and loyalty.
When I was young, I figured out that caring, showing affection, and sharing is also called love and I first saw and felt it with my parents and family. Later on found out about heavenly Father's existence and his existence and presence is a love itself. I also knew that a love for a friend exists. Doing things that we like to do is also another form of love.
As I grew up I understood the complexity of love. That it has it's different way of expressing it and it highly depends on us. It also has various forms. Sometimes we mistakenly understand what love is or if this feeling is what we call love or not. We are ought to know and understand love so we would not get lost in it. Loving (own perceptions) is good but sometimes it leads us to obsession or controls us. A popular song says " Too much love will kill you" being good is good but being very good is bad it only indicates that everything that is too much or unbearable is not good for ourselves. Let's love and be loved. Love those who are unlovable.

"Happiness"
PAUSE FOR A THOUGHT:
"What makes you happy? When are you happy?"
We people define happiness in different ways. We may find it in material things, people, and doing what you love. In my case, simple things make me happy so easily. Seeing my family, friends and people around me happy also makes me happy. I may love some material things and value them much but if I don't have them then it's fine I still have a lot of things I can adore and appreciate other than those that I don't have. It also makes me happy doing things that I love. Listening and learning music, watching movies/drama, drawing and everything that amazes me are in the list too. Coming to church and singing songs to them are also on the list.
I am happy when I am with my family, circle of friends, and people that I loved. I am also happy when I see people happily helping each other and having fun makes my heart melt and flutter that brings happiness in me. I am also happy when I get to do the things I want to do. It also makes me happy and relieved when I am able to communicate with my loved ones and especially to God. I rarely use or spend money for myself and it makes me happy if I will be able to buy things for me. I'd also love and be happy to spend my money with my family buying gifts. I am also happy to know if someone will appreciate my presence and hard work.

The activity that was done in youtube about checking which side of your brain is dominant was so exciting. My test result is 66.67% which means my dominant side of the brain is the whole left side. t means you're good at tasks where logic or critical and analytical are necessary. You're also amazing at learning languages and speaking - you know your way with words very well. The task was quite fascinating and amazing. It is simply done by things that we commonly do everyday without us knowing that it is highly significant and connected to our brain functions. I was so thrilled by the time as well as the results too. I did enjoy and learn so much with a small time allotted and consumed. It was very helpful especially when knowing and building truly oneself. It is also stated in the video the description and what are the things you are good and love at. The character and attitude towards himself, others, and also understanding the characteristics of people around us helps us to develop more knowledge. It is unbelievably accurate for me, if you want to know yours too try this out.
The video about 4 exercise tests of how fast your brain is was all about the brain exercise that would help us improve our brain function and respond by considering its different parts and function. At first I found the exercise a bit difficult and tricky for it test of both variables together. But on the second try it is a bit simpler. I can tell that there are differences and improvements compared to the first trial. It is highly recommended and very helpful. Try this out in your free time. It will only take less than an hour to finish it. Check it out the links below.

I'll end this blog with the quote saying "Take care of yourself after all it is all that you've got".

PAUSE OR A THOUGHT:
How would you describe your current situation as an adolescent? Is it a period of stress or are you slowly strengthening your identity?
My current situation right now is that I'm experiencing tough times and good times during those tough times. During this time of adolescence I was able to wake up and see at an early age what reality is in this very wonderful and challenging world. It taught me so well about how the world works in a line of different aspects in different people and communities. It is a period of stress as well as also strengthening my identity. The things that are so foreign to me makes me bother and stress me out. But in every experience I went through it became a life lesson and remains like a statue in my mind and heart. I may seem to have a hard time as challenges turn my world upside down but i want to enjoy whatever i went through for it means valuable memories in these hardships to a fruitful success. Those times mold me into a stronger, resilient and better version of myself. It also strengthened my identity, character and the whole me. I take every challenge as an opportunity for myself. It will help me grow more, know more about the working process of myself and find the true me during the process of development.

MY TAKE AWAY FOR TODAY:
BEING MINDFUL WITH OURSELVES.
Being mindful with ourselves we must understand the following developments.
Holistic development - the dominant are the greater than the sum of parts. The body is more important than the brain, heart and etc.
Physiological development -physical attributes, organ systems are under this development and it's a proper way of taking care.
Cognitive development - 3.1 cognition - the process of thinking and remembering.; 3.2 attitude - the attitude affects the following elements cognitive, affective & behavioural.
Social and Emotional development - the factors that affect its development are the feelings and emotion and it's difference. The balance of IQ to EQ.
Spiritual development -values & virtues that each individual manifested.
Psychological development - the proper way of taking care of the body through its psychological aspects.
How to integrate?
This is the highlight of the recorded session on the discussion of the difference between Holism and Dualism. It shows the contradictory of the statement to each other.
Dualism means that each has its own different importance and contribution that also affects the others. Like the heart and the mind, having a healthy mind is having a healthy heart vice-versa. Humans need nature to live (oxygen & food) and the same way around nature needs humans to live (carbon dioxide & proper care). It also talks about the equal importance of both.
Lesson learned: Being mindful of ourselves doesn't mean that we are ought to focus with ourselves. We also need to learn and study the people around us for us to see how mindful we are. By understanding the 6 developments we are able so slowly understand people around us as well as ourselves. We acquire different 6 development depending on how we live, community, environment and etc., And it highly influences us individuals. Be a mindful individual. And also, From the quote of Jay Woodman I've learned that even the smallest thing has value. How can we appreciate the value of the big ones if even the smallest one we couldn't?

PAUSE FOR A THOUGHT:
Have you ever met a person who seems to be so complex that it is difficult to fully understand him or her? What makes this person a complex character?
Yes, I have met many people with a complex personality/behavior/chracteristics. The thing that makes her complex is that her words doesn't go with her actions. I believe in the saying "Action speaks louder than words" and "Words are deceiving but eyes can't lie." One thing also is that being unsure in times of making decisions, couldn't be able to choose between the two. Sudden mood changes or mood swings. Unable to identify what we truly feel are some of the signs of manifestation of being or having a complex personality/characteristics. We may not admit it to ourselves but we also experience those kind of things. Having it feels like knowing the unknowable. But we can conquer all this things by knowing oneself. By having self awareness towards ourselves and others lessens rates of having a complex personality/characteristics.

SONG EVALUATION
It's the hardest thing to give away And the last thing on your mind today It always goes to those who don't deserve It's the opposite of how you feel When they pain they caused is just too real Takes everything you have to say the word Forgiveness, forgiveness It flies in the face of all your pride It moves away the mad inside It's always anger's own worst enemy Even when the jury and the judge Say you've got a right to hold a grudge It's the whisper in your ear saying set it free Forgiveness, forgiveness Forgiveness, forgiveness Show me how to love the unlovable Show me how to reach the unreachable Help me now to do the impossible Forgiveness, forgiveness Help me now to do the impossible Forgiveness It'll clear the bitterness away It can even set a prisoner free There is no end to what its power can do So let it go and be amazed by what you see through eyes of grace The prisoner that it really frees is you Forgiveness, forgiveness Forgiveness, forgiveness Show me how to love the unlovable Show me how to reach the unreachable Help me now to do the impossible Forgiveness I want finally set it free Show me how to see what your mercy sees Help me now to give what You gave to me Forgiveness, forgiveness Forgiveness, forgiveness

Music, Inc, Kobalt Music Publishing Ltd.
The song Forgiveness by Matthew West. This song is inspired to a true to a life story where a mother was imprisoned by the hatred from a man who killed her daughter. Later on realized that even though he was the one in the jail, she was more devastated by feeling of being jailed by her own emotions and later forgave the man and set herself free from hatred.
The songs message is that no matter who we are in this world we must know how to humble down our hearts and seek for forgiveness. It will free us in our sins and also ourselves from hatred and anger. It may take us anything to say this word but saying this word would made us feel eternally and forver grateful. No matter what that person did to you we must not imprison ourselves from our emotions because that would cause us more damage internally. It's like you fighting against yourself and that is more even devastated. Even God forgave and freed us up from our sins. How can we not? Forgiveness is love. May we not get blinded by the temptation around us, instead we learn to forgive and love one another.

PAUSE FOR A THOUGHT:
Do you know yourself? How did you learn these things about yourself? Where did the information come from? Do you like what you know?
I know myself very well. I am very hard-working, multitasking and brave. I learned this through my hard times and good times. My experiences also taught me this as well. I also learned these things about myself through my friends, workmates, classmates, even my family, and relatives. They say I'm a very hard-working individual. That I am a very independent person. After hearing all those words and praises from them, I told myself no to stop and do more. It makes me want to do it twice as I am right now. Those words felt like a comfort and encouragement to me. And I really like it.
There are also some people told me a different insights than those. They say I'm "pabida" "sipsip" "overreacting" and many more. Well I do know that I am so very cooperative way back then. That even being my cooperativeness and active in school got misunderstood. It's not that I can explain them all what I did and about to do. That I'm not like that and like this. But then I just let them do whatever they want to think about me. And I can't change that unless they see things differently. This is not some sort of defense mechanism because I know what I am doing and my intentions are pure this just me. I'm just being active and cooperative it's up to you on how you will appreciate and comprehend my actions. As long as I know in myself I never intended to hurt and harm anyone else. I learned this things through my school journey way back then. It came from past classmates and my friends kept telling me too. I like my attitude being so cooperative and active. But to be honest I don't like the way how they comprehend my actions towards them and what they have told me. It's like they know me more than myself. Like how could they just say that without knowing my side? But I don't want to argue with it. I just let them be. I can't change the way how they see me as. I am aware of myself and I also that they don't like me. I just let them be.
I accept and embrace all of their perceptions and criticism. For those are my flaws. It is also thanks to them that I was able to also know how they see me as and helps me know more on myself awareness. I was able to reflect on myself that I need to improve myself more for the better. Not for them but for my sake. After all we are all humans and we aren't perfect but we must not let this be a reason to us, ourselves be the hindrance on improving for the best version of ourselves.
