it's never too late to start brushing your teeth again. i basically never brushed my teeth for a whole 10 years. a decade. A DECADE. i still struggle to brush my teeth once a week, but it all started with brushing my teeth once every few months. so i mean it when i say brushing your teeth once a week, a month, a year, or even a decade, is better than nothing.

and still, nothing is not shameful. it is not immoral to struggle with self care. and it is also not pointless to keep trying. anything you can do, even if its wiping plaque off with a towel, is enough. it is good to take care of yourself however you can, even if it's just trying to muster the will to. reading this post is good, too.

So I've been rewatching AIB recently, haven't seen it in a while. And I gotta say, despite my qualms and not looking at it through the rose-coloured glasses I wore when reading the manga, this show is so fun, I forgot how entertaining it is. Do I wish the story was better? Sure but its kinda campy and funny and sweet and heart wrenching.

Season 3 should honestly go all out on the silliness if I'm completely honest. I think the whole "characters surviving impossible odds" is so funny in retrospect that if they just leaned into that shit more it'd be really enjoyable and I could seperate it from the manga.

Which is another reason I think I'm gonna love season 3 a ton. It probably won't be related to the manga and even if it is, the sequel wasn't particularly good so they can do whatever they want and it's gonna be so good in my eyes.

It's been far too long since i've read any manga in the similar horror genre as Alice in Borderland so I'm going to read a bunch and maybe make a post recommending any that I like (also my boyfriend promised he will be reading AIB soon)

AIB besties, my boyfriend has agreed to watch and maybe read AIB once we finish some other shows.

But the question is, should I get him to watch it first or read it? I'm leaning towards watch it first so that he can enjoy it more but the manga is SO GOOD when you have zero idea what's happening...help me.

Hi friends small update.

I'm alive but not posting much right now as I have some health issues to deal with. Mostly mentally, but today at work I fainted (ive never really fainted before like this. I have had a concussion during sports but I don't think I've ever fainted from being sick anywhere, so it was quite scary, especially in a kitchen).

Works been putting pressure on me about my sick days, threatening disciplinaries etc that I came into today despite being ill and well, it resulted in me collapsing (peak time too, customers saw). I'm now being recommended to see a doctor about my physical health and what's going on with that.

Will be back after the new year's though! :) hope everyone's keeping well.
