Eventually he stops going since the guilt eats at him too much and he can’t even look at anything regarding his time as a soldier, let alone say Jean’s name.

One way I see Jean joining one of Armin’s gaming streams with Conny is Jean being (surprisingly) calm since he’s not really a “gamer,” so he says things along the lines of “we’ll win next time, it’s fine…” while Armin is the dramatic one on stream saying “where the passion guys we’re losing to them!! What if there isn’t a next time!” And Conny isn’t any different than Armin but enjoys saying your mom jokes to other players.

I can’t stop thinking about post 139… Armin getting done crying in the bathroom at night and Jean is awake (Armin is unaware) and the guilt of not being able to take Armin’s pain away eats at home everytime Armin goes into the bathroom for 2 hours to cry about Eren when Armin gets out of the bathroom the room is still quiet. He snuggles up tightly with Jean and whispers “please don’t leave me too…” and Jean squeezes him back and places his cheek on his head and says “okay…” and Armin doesn’t let him go for the rest of the night.

Armin hates grocery shopping because it’s so tedious, so what he does when Jean is out is casually mention “I forgot to go after work, can you buy some stuff?” And of course Jean already knows Armin is lying, but goes along with it anyway until Armin sends him a long list of what they don’t have and ends the message with “okay thanks, love you :)!” And Jean is just like “😐…”
