These are only two of many *peer reviewed* scientific papers that show this. Climate change also causes droughts and food insecurity, floodings and extreme weather conditions. I don't know who that guy was that said the current input of CO2 into the atmosphere is harmless. IT IS VERY MUCH NOT. I should probably add that I am physics student writing my masters thesis on the atlantic overturning circulation and how it will slow down due to climate change, causing even more drastic and potentially catastrophic changes in our climate. Even if climate change didn't have any influence on the forests, it has influence on so many other parts of our ecosystem that the gravity of the current CO2 input cannot be neglected.

Though he passed away in 2020, British-born American theoretical physicist and mathematician Freeman Dyson (1923-2020) taught the world some very important lessons about climate change that persist through time, including the fact that the ever-dreaded-among-climate-lunatics element known as carbon dioxide (CO2) is good for the planet rather than bad.

Back in 2015, Dyson participated in an interview with Conversations that Matter in which he explained that the many climate models used by global warming fanatics to predict the environmental future are only suitable for understanding what the climate is doing now, or what it did in the past.

"As measured from space, the whole earth is growing greener as a result of carbon dioxide, so it's increasing agricultural yields, it's increasing the forests, and it's increasing growth in the biological world – and that's more important and more certain than the effects on climate," Dyson explained.

Dyson, in case you are unfamiliar with him, was a renowned expert in climate matters. He is among the most celebrated figures in 20th century physics, having pioneered extensive work in quantum field theory, astrophysics, random matrices, mathematical formulation of quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, nuclear physics and engineering.

But what do you do when there is so much raw emotion inside you but you can't sing, and you can't play any instruments, and you can only draw from reference and you aren't good enough with words to find the right ones and you're are utterly incapable of expressing yourself in any way so you're stuck trying to find that one song or that one drawing or that one story written by someone else to make you feel like someone knows what you're going through.

We've got to make fun of *everyone* who acts like this

Edit: I don't think that those posts, or people who think like that in general, are a valid justification for sexism and/or discrimination and/or oppression against/of women because obviously they are not. But I do like to point out once in a while that sexism against men exists too. Belonging to an oppressed group doesn't make you exempt from being discriminatory yourself. I won't tolerate any kind of discrimination on this blog, be it against LGBTQ people, straight people, cis people, men, women or anyone else. Just be kind to each other, it's literally not that hard. People of all ethnicities, genders and sexualities can be assholes and people of all ethnicities, genders and sexualities can be absolutely amazing. It always depends on the individual.

Sometimes I see straight women posting and I'm like hmmm okay I can see why some straight men are driven insane without necessarily being like Andrew Tate psychos
