Enjoying twin peaks like a Christmas hallmark movie so far. It's got everything. the slightly eccentric person with the career going to the countryside. The town is a little strange. They meet a down to earth hard working guy, before the slightly cunty guy shows up from the city.

ive slowly but surely been indoctrinating my friend to start listening to malevolent however im now thinking about just making them listen to the christmas special and see if the out of context holiday whimsy and terrifying horror is enough to convince them

Kayne has just as much malevolent brain rot as us. He started writing a crack fic. I'm so proud of him

The important reason Benevolent is not canon is absolutely that it relies on Kayne knowing they are in a podcast.
I could believe that Kayne is obsessed enough with Arthur and John to force alternates of them to play act, but Kayne being entirely aware would be far too horrifying.

I think the best part about the malevolent Christmas special is that it finally confirmed 2 things
1. Kayne is a theater kid
2. If Kayne directed malevolent it would have been a musical

kayne is such a character cuz at the end of benevolent I had to actually stop and think about whether he was eating turkey or human flesh

loved the christmas special, very silly, but let’s be honest with ourselves, if kayne wrote a malevolent special jarthur would not be platonic, that man is the biggest jarthur shipper I’ve ever seen

shout out to when i told my dad about goncharov and he figured out it was fake because i told him "1973 martin scorsese film with robert de niro" and he said that wasn't possible because the godfather came out in 1972 and the godfather part II came out in 1974 and they wouldn't have had time to make a movie in between. a perfectly good jest, foiled by this man's weird and vast knowledge set
