Maybe this is just me but I am really surprised that 2023 was the first time a lot of people heard about Palestine because 2021 was when settlers tried expelling Palestinians from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah - this then escalated to the IOF attacking Palestinians in Al Aqsa and throughout the country (almost 300 Palestinians in Gaza were killed and thousands were injured) - there were massive protests all over the world in response. 2021 really laid the foundations for everything that is happening now but it surprises me how little people actually mention the uprising then or were even aware it was happening.

a stud in black leather on a black motorcycle just revved their engine at me and thank god I tore my demonic uterus out ages ago because I think that would have finally knocked me up
Did we miss the part where Biden's stance on Palestine is uniquely aggressive and oppressive even in the context/low bar of American politics. I feel like I'm losing my mind everytime someone brings up a hypothetical "well it could be worse" when the Gaza strip has dealt with the equivalent impact to a fucking nuclear assault.
The thing is. I know you’re lying about seeing both parties as the same. You’re obviously lying because all the call your legislature actions were directed at Democratic lawmakers. If they were the same why wouldn’t you try the same tactic on the right? If trump and Biden are the same why aren’t you pushing his campaign to address this issue? It’s because there is a difference and you know it. And there is a difference on abortion policy, trans health care, queer people generally, and the social welfare state that examples under Biden with expansions to the ACA. Just. What are we even doing here? YOU don’t even think they’re the same. Even now most efforts are directed to trying to get democratic lawmakers to move. Why would that be true if there was no difference? Come on
ok then vote for biden idc lmao. what are *you* doing sending me this? to shame me? im not taking political opinions from an anon who is obviously not palestinian and has no ties to the palestinian community. they're the same. get out of my inbox. you dont know what i experience or what i do outside of tumblr lmao. youre an unpaid biden campaign spokesperson at least get paid first.
im noticing that for a lot of americans “free palestine” has been an ideological motto and symbol rather than them actually believing in their heart that freedom is attainable and necessary
