Due to the lockdown, schools and colleges have remained shut for the last few months. The government of India (GOI) plans to launch a technology portal to promote the edtech sector. The pandemic has disturbed conventional primary and higher education in India. But the innovation portal of the edtech industry has kept the hopes for the Indian education sector alive. The Government of India policymakers has launched SWAYAM, an online learning portal for the students. Also, the science-related line ministries have launched DIKSHA to encourage teachers in India to offer online education to students.
