Part 1

"Hunny when are you coming on home?" Flora asked.

"Soon sweetie, I hope. The drug exchange is taking longer than expected." Micheal replied.

"Oh, well. Make sure it don't go south, we don't want no repeat of the 17th. Now do we?" Flora said.

"No of course not my love, don't worry I've got these bastards under control. I should be home just in time for dinner."

"Well, I love you Micheal dear." Flora said.

"I love you too, darlin'." , He said hanging the home phone up. 

"Now, where were we?" Micheal asked.

"Darlin', I'm home." Micheal called out to his wife.

"I'm over here in the kitchen Mike." Flora answered. Micheal hung his jacket on the coat rack, and put his shoes in their proper places, before making his way over to the study. 

"6..3..9..4." He mumbled under his breath, the safe clicking open. Looking inside the safe was some serious cash. Some of the cash had blood splatterd on it, from God knows what. "270, 280, 290, 300, 310," Micheal said placing the cash in the safe. "Perfect amount, we ain't going to have to worry about money for a long while." Micheal cleaned himself up, making his over to the kitchen. He put his hands on his wife's shoulders, causing her to jump a bit. Whipping around to face Micheal, Flora smiled.

"Mike, don't do that." Flora said chuckling.

"I know, I know. I just can't resist. You're just so beautiful darlin', and seeing you jump like a cricus monkey makes you all the more beautiful." Micheal said, smiling at his wife.

"Awe Micheal dear, you really know you're way with words now do you?" Flora asked.

"Well only for you my love," Micheal said bending down looking at Floras stomach. "And how is little Elliott doing today?" 

"He's doing just fine sweetie, he's a very active boy today. Kicking all around." Flora replied, stroking her stomach.

"Little Elliott are you making a fuss in there for your mama," Micheal said, pulling a chair out from the table. "Come on Flora sit down, hunny." Flora smiled at Micheal, lowering herself onto the chair. Micheal pushed the chair closer to the table, taking a seat himself in a chair across from Flora. 

"So Micheal dear, how was work today?" Flora asked, cutting into her food. Micheal looked up at his wife, contemplating whether he wanted to tell her what really went down at the business today. 

"Well, if I'm being honest sweetheart, It was hectic. There was a man, who was causin' a ruckus. Saying he was gonna rat us out to the police. So we had to scare him a bit. I'm tellin' you, I ain't proud, by no means. But I had to do, what I had to do." Micheal answered, taking a bite of his food. Flora listened to her husband, nodding her head in agreement. He had to provide for them somehow, and if this was how. Than by God so be it. 

"It's alright hunny, you ain't mean no harm. The man shouldn't have been causin' trouble where it didn't belong." "It ain't your fault, you're just doing your job. You gotta family to provide for. And especially with little Elliott on the way. We ain't got no time for people like him." Flora said.

"You know I love you darlin'." Micheal said, grabbing her hand. 

"I know sweetie, I know."
