I imagine lance being the type of student who always whines about going to school and makes silly excuses to skip class but when he is faced with the opportunity to skip class he chickens out cause he feels guilt.
While keith just skips cause he just wasn’t feeling and doesn’t even look for an excuse. He just wakes up and is like “yeah not today” and goes back to sleep
Lance: I can’t skip
Hunk: you literally have a broken ankle you’re going to the ER
Lance: but what am I gonna tell my teachers :/
Hunk: THAT YOU’RE IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM

‘‘I’m sorry I woke you up..’‘ He quietly said, looking into his eyes, before pulling him into a tight hug, allowing his eyes to close as he tried to calm down his heart. Keith didn’t get nightmares all that often, but still regular enough with everything they’d been through.
