Sera looked down, unsure how to answer him. She can continue to deny it all she wants, but she is not immune to having desires. Even if she likes to think she's above it.

"...Of course, I have. I am not made of stone." She admits quietly. But therein lied the problem. She and the rest of her kin were supposed to be perfect. There were supposed to be above such human wants and desires. How else were they to pass judgement over mortals fairly?

"What you fail to understand is that I do not have the luxury to be free with my desires. They all look to me for guidance. I have to be a good example to them. I have to be perfect."

It was so suffocating.

❝ But am I though, ❞ yes he is but hush, ❝ I don't believe my title is the 'Father of Lies' Sera? That's one you gave to my good pal, Lucifer. Unless the ol' propaganda machine up there changed? Can't blame me for being out of the loop when I'm not involve in your heavenly politics. ❞ And thank fuck for that. How Luci never lost his eternal patience though all of that...

However, he couldn't help but let out a bitter snort at her following comment. Oh, that's just cute.

❝ Sera, don't tell me you never wanted something so badly, so eagerly, that you'd do almost anything to gain it regardless if it's by ethical means or of it's worth or longing? And I don't need to 'sense' that tells me your lying to call bullshit.

❝ Everyone is guilty of having desires, and I don't mean just the sexual kind. That's just human nature, Sera." Granted, neither of them were human but considering how much time Ozzie spent top side among them, he learned that sinners, demon and angels all had one thing in common: they were flawed. Some demons may view him as being 'soft' to admit that and to show some sort of humility, regardless how much his pride may over shadow it was a weakness. But he seen angels with less humility than some sinners do.

He knew it was a waste of time to try to convince Sera otherwise though. Heaven likes to believe that there's just good or evil in the world and nothing in-between. Considering that loving someone in a way he wasn't suppose to was enough for him to be declared Fallen, suppose he shouldn't be surprise he'd be beating his head agasist a wall.

...Well, great, this conversation soured his mood. Wasn't this suppose to be about messing with the High Seraphim?

"W-Well, not exactly--" Charlie stutters, a nervous laugh escaping. She takes the opportunity to slowly push off from the wall and run a shaky hand through her hair. "I'm still trying to figure that part out..."

His decision to stay in the hotel leaves no room for argument. Much to her dismay. "...Crystal." She replies, a strained smile stretching across her face The others weren't going to like this--especially Vaggie, but hopefully she can get to them all today and calmly explain the situation before any of them accidentally or intentionally agitate their new...guest.

"Well! Um, since you're going to be staying with us until further notice, can I at least have your name? Mine's Charlie! Charlie Morningstar.'

He watches closely for the slightest reaction, face steeled, revealing nothing in comparison. Stiffened muscles say all they need to; there are others here. No matter. If they did appear, they'd be dealt with, as he dealt with his captors. Swiftly, brutually, ruthlessly. None would stand in his way, not even this stranger.

Stotic nature splinters, one side of his lips quirking upon witnessing the flash of fury. Good. Fury keeps people alive, pushes them to live and survive. It is through the tip of his bident, that he feels- rather than sees- the nervous bobbing of her neck. Seraphim's attention immediately snaps back to the moment, forcing himself to listen to the words spoken. ❝ Heaven. . . ❞ He parrots, expression indecipherable as his mind works to break down what was said. Numerous of those words meant nothing to him; hotel, rehabilitation, sinner. Didn't matter. His focus is on the mention of Heaven. Go to Heaven.

Perhaps twas her smile, the lack of callouses decorating held palms or muffled remnants of a sweet child that ultimately convinces Seraphim to lower his bident. It's hard to say. ❝ You are capable of taking people to Heaven. ❞ That's... One way to put it, albeit not entirely accurate. His bident, settled by his side like an old friend, feels different to most angellic weaponary. Ancient. Powerful. If this place is connected to Heaven... He can hide right under their noses. Fools. ❝ Then I shall make this place my sanctuary. Save your objections; my decision has been made. You will get me to Heaven. Sooner or later. For now, I trust your allies will be wise enough to not get in my way. Including you. Are we clear? ❞
