I can see why Crowley's in love with him.

Today Aziraphale experienced déjà vu walking a very drunk Crowley home from the pub. He clutched his arm around his demon’s waist just as he had once done in a graveyard. As he tucked Crowley in for the night, Aziraphale held him extra close and felt extraordinarily grateful that Hell could no longer take his demon away from him.

Scenes that left me pondering for a while in Good Omens:
The parallel here of just standing in front of a figure that’s supposed to represent you, to mirror you, but it couldn’t be farther away from the real being looking back at it. It’s not a reflection of them in an image, it’s a deeper reflection of the soul. They both look at it with a set of understanding, but coming from other foreign eyes who have never lived or embodied these figures; that have been molded by stories and hearsay.
It’s got a taint of truth in it, but it’s never an accurate representation. And I love that.

This one fucking affected me. The feelings are top-notch but also the mysterious circumstances are fascinating and when you get towards the end the sense of "oh, so that's why -- and the thing they heard was -- oh!! that's what was happening!!!" is immaculate. I guessed the outlines of what was going on fairly early but could not have dreamed its true shape.
I should read it again. You should consider reading it too.

Summary:
In good weather, one can see the lighthouse at the Rock from the shore: a dot on the horizon, a distant star flashing red and white and red again.
It’s been dark for a fortnight, of course—ever since the incident that every newspaper had breathlessly written about, that the paper-boys on the corners had shouted themselves hoarse over.
This is where Aziraphale is headed: it is his duty, after all, to find out what happened, to make sure that the beacon can be safely lit once again.
He does not expect Crowley to follow him to the windswept isle, to the lonely lighthouse at what could just as well be the edge of the world.
Crowley follows him anyway.
