If you've lost connection with your imagination (3rd eye + playful inner child), you're not a lost cause. Every incremental effort you make towards restoring it will help. And begin ASAP, because it makes an unbelievable difference in daily life. And your future!
Reject the idea that growing up means you have no more time for aimless mental exploration until retirement age...you know what you do when you accept that as a reality for your life? You're literally killing your spirit by cutting off streams of nourishment in those mental muscles. That's why so many individuals become so weary with age (even to the extent of dementia/Alzheimer's). Then, you occasionally see others who have been able to maintain a glowing youthfulness. The difference is these individuals kept their minds lively by continually exploring their mental landscapes.
Keep reading stories. Keep recording your dreamtime experiences. Keep doodling. Keep creating. Keep experimenting. Keep taking risks. Keep dreaming up goals and expeditions. Keep daydreaming. Keep loving fantastical things. Keep inviting color into your life. Keep having fun in nature. Keep choosing to see the beauty in all. Keep viewing life as filled with lessons. Keep viewing yourself as able to learn (and never an expert). Keep listening to your heart via the messages of your body. And practice meditation with visualization aspects. This is how you exercise the imaginative aspects of the mind.
You are creating the story of your life with your very mind and your very perspectives. It's in your hands to create the changes you wish to come about. Make beautiful entries, okay? š

āPickingā a favorite is essentially telling people to rank things based on how much they think about them positively or love them. But you canāt quantify love, you canāt calculate love. Making people pick āfavoritesā is at the end of the day, attaching the person to those favorites and ignoring all the rest. Itās also implying that only the āfavoriteā thing matters and they can only share the āfavoriteā thing when thatās not the case. Also, itās impossible to love two things the same way or āequallyā, because you canāt quantify love and ranking love is putting it in a hierarchy which all hierarchies are bad and how can you love two things that provide different feelings, desires, emotions, thoughts and energies the same? Itās just impossible, the same way itās impossible to love someone the same their whole lives, because things happen, feelings happen, people change, you change, the relationship changes throughout time, itās a natural process.
Back to the hierarchies, picking favorites and ranking favorites is placing them in a hierarchy, itās placing their worth, their importance, their value and how much they matter in a hierarchy. Itās ignoring all the complexities of life, humans and love and the multi-dimensionality of you and others. Itās reducing people to their āfavoritesā and interests.
I donāt like being told to pick favorites, because I donāt have a favorite ever. My identity and who I am doesnāt revolve around nor only consist of those āfavoritesā. Iām more than my āfavoritesā, I like and love so many more things than the āfavoritesā. āFavoritesā is essentially forcing people into a one dimensional mold and ignoring the rest of who they are, but also telling them to do the same. You are more than your āfavoritesā, you are so much more. You like so much more than your āfavoritesā and thatās okay, you donāt have to pick and choose āfavoritesā and only focus on them, thatās unrealistic and unfair to you, because there is so much more to you than āfavoritesā, you like and love so much more than those āfavoritesā, you cannot be reduced to āfavoritesā nor words (eg: personality traits).

Please completely explain string theory to me in two sentences or less.
You know how Spaghetti and SpaghettiOs are basically the same thing but they're in different shapes so one is a soup and one is a pasta? String theory is like that but without making sense.

āAfter thirty years of intensive research, we can now answer many of the questions posed earlier. The recycle rate of a human being is around sixteen hours. After sixteen hours of being awake, the brain begins to fail. Humans need more than seven hours of sleep each night to maintain cognitive performance. After ten days of just seven hours of sleep, the brain is as dysfunctional as it would be after going without sleep for twenty-four hours. Three full nights of recovery sleep (i.e., more nights than a weekend) are insufficient to restore performance back to normal levels after a week of short sleeping. Finally, the human mind cannot accurately sense how sleep-deprived it is when sleep-deprived.ā
