Ao3 subscriptions are so fucking wild to me. Every time I write my silly fanfictions and post them 124 people get an email just to let them know that this idiot is posting their fanfictions again. I send 124 people an email every time I write smut. Imagine sending 124 physical letters out just to be like “hello everyone, I put some guys we made up in our heads through the horrors again.” Absolutely absurd. I am kissing all of you on the lips.

I had a dream last night that Tony installed a giant, adult play area in the Avengers Tower and all the Avengers used it. Now I’ve accepted it as headcanon.

✅ Natasha would chill in the ball pit, reclined back in an inner tube.

✅Clint would climbed halfway up the slides and wait for people to slide down to scare them.

✅Steve would claim it to be a bonding/relaxing experience. He mainly laughs at others shinanagins.

✅Thor would marvel at Midgard’s creativity because they have nothing like this on Asgard.

✅Bruce would just hang in the tunnels and read.

✅Tony would instigate a game of hide and seek because the playset is just THAT big!

The play area looked a bit like these only pumped up a million levels because Tony can’t do anything that’s not over the top:

General PSA: Please do not engage in ritualistic human sacrifice during the eclipse. I know in the past the sun has not been eaten when virgins were sacrificed, but the sun was also not eaten when this wasn't the case. I know that it looks like something is eating the sun, but the sun is not being eaten. It is the shadow of the moon. Even if something were trying to eat the sun, it would spit it out, because the sun is very acidic and therefore sour. If something were truly set on eating the sun, sacrificing virgins would not do anything to stop this. /j

While I have been mildly aware of it for a while, between character studies and meta posts on the characters, it has really been more obvious to me as a Whole Ass Adult™️ that I am Tonks with Remus’s pile of mental illnesses.

And instead of potentially addressing those issues with a qualified professional, I found myself sucked into this fairly niche ship fandom once again and have just taken to violently inhaling a lot of what I can find.

This is obviously the healthiest response I could choose.

It’s solar and wind and tidal and geothermal and hydropower.

It’s plant-based diets and regenerative livestock farming and insect protein and lab-grown meat.

It’s electric cars and reliable public transit and decreasing how far and how often we travel.

It’s growing your own vegetables and community gardens and vertical farms and supporting local producers.

It’s rewilding the countryside and greening cities.

It’s getting people active and improving disabled access.

It’s making your own clothes and buying or swapping sustainable stuff with your neighbours.

It’s the right to repair and reducing consumption in the first place.

It’s greater land rights for the commons and indigenous peoples and creating protected areas.

It’s radical, drastic change and community consensus.

It’s labour rights and less work.

It’s science and arts.

It’s theoretical academic thought and concrete practical action.

It’s signing petitions and campaigning and protesting and civil disobedience.

It’s sailboats and zeppelins.

It’s the speculative and the possible.

It’s raising living standards and curbing consumerism.

It’s global and local.

It’s me and you.

Climate solutions look different for everyone, and we all have something to offer.
