I NEED Wilhelm and Felice to become friends, and here's why it would make so much sense:

Both of them started off the show in pretty much the same place. Wilhelm moved to Hillerska because he had a reputation to keep up. One of the first lines we ever see Felice saying is about how she needs to think about her image, and maintain it no matter what.

We see that both of them weren't used to people challenging them on a regular basis. When Sara calls out Felice, for example, or when Simon teases Wille.

We also know that they were both pursuing activities which they aren't necessarily interested in such. It's just a given that you have to do it. With Felice, it was horseriding. With Wilhelm, it did seem like he wasn't the biggest fan of rowing and the work that came with it but he was doing it because it was just expected of him.

Now, moving past the similarities, we notice how Felice slowly starts breaking away from the control put on her. She stands up to her parents at Lucia. At the end of the show, she's more concerned with keeping her friendships and helping those who need it than what seemed to be her priorities earlier. Massive character development which I have already gushed over in a post of mine if you wanna find it.

Wille, on the other hand, tried and failed. He's still being kept in this cage by those he deemed close to him. And now that he looks ready to break free, finding a friend in somebody who has been through what he has would be beneficial.

We've ready seen glimpses of their friendship already. Even after being rejected by Wilhelm, Felice supports him when Erik passes away. She helps in distracting him, and never passes a chance to assist him. And she is the one who spends hours looking for clues to help Wilhelm, and she's the one who immediately runs to him without a second thought.

After all the betrayal Wille has been through, he needs a loyal and steady friend he can depend on no matter what. And we've already seen just how amazing of a friend Felice is.

I also have reasons to believe that Felice might be the one who finds out about Sara and August and I'm always up for torn up characters who end up making the right choice in the end, and if her and Sara do end up in a fight about it, I don't think there's anybody but Wille (and maybe Simon) who could be better in assuring her since he knows about betrayal just enough.

I do think he would encourage her to patch up things with Sara after a genuine apology because that sounds so much like him. He definitely knows the worth of real friendship, and he knows that people mess up in them, time and again. And I genuinely don't think Sara intended to do any wrong.

Also, if the writers do decide to go in the direction of a romantic relationship between Felice and Sara, then who knows, maybe Wilhelm could be inspired by the two of them. Or, if Sara and August being exposed leads to Simon and him in atleast a public friendship, then that could be inspiration for the two of them. Seems unlikely for now, but you never know.

And let's be honest. Both of them are such fashion icons. (Platonic) match made in heaven.

i was rewatching episode 2 yesterday and i noticed something in the scene where we see wille in his best outfit. you know that red one. he was basically sitting on his phone outside and felice was looking at him. then he stood up and started walking kind of fast to math class. you know once felice walked with him he could’ve kind of slowed down but he didn’t and immediately walked away when august came up to them. when i first saw the episode i thought it was because he didn’t want to talk to august. but if you connect this scene to the scene we see him in next. he was basically walking fast to get to class earlier and get that place next to simon. i mean i had noticed before how he entered the class fast and sat down at the desk next to saras. but i hadnt connected that to that is why he was walking so fast in the scene before. he had this entire thing planned out. but then didn’t know what to say to simon once he arrived… HE THINKS HE IS SOO SMOOTH
