i am currently having two weeks of easter holiday. as my focus is terrible when staying at home, i spend most of my time in the library. the idea of peers judging me pressures me to work :)

wanting to make the world work better for the people who live in it

tackling large projects with confidence

admiration for ancient feats of engineering that are still standing today

appreciating the elegance of a bridge, overpass, or city skyline

integrating nature with human-built structures 

detailed diagrams on sheets of graph paper

a practical approach to problem solving

understanding the importance of infrastructure maintenance

If you are following me on my studygram, you already know that there was a lot going on in the past month! I handed in my thesis, moved to a new city and started my first 'real' job. I am happy, very relaxed and more motivated than ever!

Ok the number of times I’ve seen that post “how to study when you’re tired” on my dash is genuinely concerning. Please don’t force yourself to study when you’re tired. Go to sleep. Take a nap. Close your eyes. I assure you that is the one and only correct response. If you’re tired, your body quite literally needs you to listen. I can promise you that following any advice which prioritizes productivity over basic needs like sleep will cause you so much more harm in the long run than it’s worth

march 28, 2022 // school is becoming comfortable, falling into new routines, all the while planning for some very big changes in the flavour of studying abroad, taking the mcat, and potentially applying to med school in the upcoming year. all vv big exciting things !!
