also bc 6 years ago i was simultaneously doing well in college, living in a great on-campus apartment with good roommates (one of which i would end up dating and is now my gf), only working once a month to stay on payroll for the summer, AND what would end up being my biggest obsession anime was coming out, my mental health was at its Absolute Peak

#theres a reason ive held on to HK for so long compared to Love #bc Love came out when i was Super Super depressed #i needed it at the time but it rly is a depression show for me at the end of the day #meanwhile HK is a Mental Health Oasis show

6 years ago today I was having a full spiritual rebirth bc HK ep 1 had come out and i was waiting for ep 2 so impatiently that it was destroying my psyche. that was also the weekend that i drove in the pouring rain at night listening to kokoro to kokoro de and Screaming in my car. that was also the weekend that i was at my retail job wandering around aimlessly while my Entire Brain was taken up by HK boys. and also the weekend that dan and phil posted Giving the People what they Want that i watched right after HK ep 2.
