After Ty’s letter it is  obvious that Cassie is justifying the change there will be in CP2’s family tree.

Considering that when she did it she did not think about the story that was going to develop in TLH and then it is said that Jem being a silent brother altered some data to protect someone, here are my theories.

1. Alastair will not have children, at least not biological and maybe it is another member of the Carstairs family who is Emma’s ancestor. It would make sense because he is Jem’s cousin and would protect him.

2. Christopher and Grace if it will happen because none of the characters would think of having anything to do with Grace after the end of CoI, unless it is completely sincere and genuine feeling.

3. We already know that Jem changed Lucie’s birth date (reason yet to be discovered). And just as Benedict’s death is recorded as misadventure he could also have changed dates and causes of deaths caused with the whole Belial problem related to the children Tessa and Will.

4. It has nothing to do with the family tree but it is a popular theory about Matthew becoming downworlder and the appearance of Lilith.In The Mortal Instruments Lilith says that there hasn’t been a daytime vampire in over 100 years which fits with the events of The Last Hours and also with all of Math’s suffering, his appreciation of beauty, and making analogy to The Portrait of Dorian Gray.

It is clear that the end of The Secrets of Blackthorn Hall will lead to the ending of this trilogy and the end of Chain of Thorns will lead to The Wicked Powers.

Después de la carta de Ty está más que claro que Cassie está justificando el cambio que habrá en el árbol genealógico de PM2.

Considerando que cuando lo hizo no pensó en la historia que iba a desarrollar en TLH y luego se dice que Jem siendo hermano silencioso alteró algunos datos para proteger a alguien, aquí ven mis teorías.

1. Alastair no tendrá hijos, al menos no biologicos y quizás sea otro miembro de la familia Carstairs quién sea ancestro de Emma. De ahí los archivos perdidos y tendría sentido porque es primo de Jem y lo protegería.

2. Christopher y Grace si pasará porque a ninguno de los personajes se les ocurriría tener algo que ver con Grace después del final de CoI, a no ser que sea completamente sincero y genuino el sentimiento.

3. Ya sabemos que Jem cambió la fecha de nacimiento de Lucie (razón aun por descubrir). Y al igual que la muerte de Benedict se registra como desafortunada también podría haber cambiado fechas y causas de muertes causadas con todo el problema de Belial relacionado a los hijos Tessa y Will.

4. No tiene que ver con el árbol genealógico pero es una teoría popular sobre Matthew convirtiéndose en subterraneo y la aparición de Lilith. En Los Instrumentos Mortales Lilith dice que no ha habido un vampiro diurno en más de 100 años lo cuál calza con los hechos de Las Últimas Horas y también con todo el sufrimiento de Math, su aprecio a la belleza, y hacer analogía a El Retrato de Dorian Gray. 

Está claro que el final de Los Secretos de Blackthorn Hall nos llevaran al desenlace de esta trilogía y el final de Cadena de Espinas nos dará pie para The Wicked Powers.

And they'll have an ancient "god of glitter" warlock, a sassy blue eyed archer (Who, by the way, is the consul), and an ex-mundane/ ex-vampire/ ex-daylighter/ wannabe rockstar and current friki shadowhunter as uncles. Aaand a strong badass queen of fashion aunt.
