Rico; 28; WI. He/him; Christian; autistic; heteroromantic asexual. I wrote a semi-autobiographical screenplay called I Know Who I Am, which I entered into a screenwriting competition. The public gets to read and vote on the scripts they want to advance in the competition, and the winner gets their script made into a movie. All you need is a free account to get started. You can read and vote for my script here: https://www.kinolime.com/screenplays/i-know-who-i-am
Why post this here/in these tags?
If you read my true story on this blog called “How House of Anubis helped saved my life”, this story is directly inspired by it. It's also a family script that is set at a boarding school, so it might interest existing House of Anubis fans. There’s also an Easter egg in there for Owl City fans and a side plot inspired by the behind-the-scenes story surrounding Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Finally, it’s a story about an autistic student written by an autistic screenwriter. Please help me advance in the competition; there are only a few weeks left. Thank you in advance for your support!!
guys I think I rediscovered Owl City again after abandoning Adam's music since 10 years ago
Why did nobody tell me that Lucid Dream is an actual trance track?!!!
btw thanks Armin for getting OC back into my life lmao
What if you breathed and I carried you away into the velvet sky where we’d stir the stars around and watch them fall away into the Hudson Bay and plummet out of sight and sound. What then.
Reddit: Raises API pricing to discourage AI companies from scraping data to the point that Apollo and other 3rd party Reddit apps can't exist. Then, in the same breath, they allow an AI company to pay them $60 million (three times the amount it would cost for Apollo to continue operating) to scrape Reddit data anyway.
Tumblr: Giving people a simple toggle to determine if AI companies can scrape users' data and leave API usage alone
Say what you will about the so-called incompetence of the staff, and comparing Tumblr to Reddit is like comparing apples and oranges. Still, it says something when Tumblr's parent company Automattic makes a more sane, user-empowering choice than the competition.
Hi, Tumblr. It’s Tumblr. We’re working on some things that we want to share with you.
AI companies are acquiring content across the internet for a variety of purposes in all sorts of ways. There are currently very few regulations giving individuals control over how their content is used by AI platforms. Proposed regulations around the world, like the European Union’s AI Act, would give individuals more control over whether and how their content is utilized by this emerging technology. We support this right regardless of geographic location, so we’re releasing a toggle to opt out of sharing content from your public blogs with third parties, including AI platforms that use this content for model training. We’re also working with partners to ensure you have as much control as possible regarding what content is used.
Here are the important details:
We already discourage AI crawlers from gathering content from Tumblr and will continue to do so, save for those with which we partner.
We want to represent all of you on Tumblr and ensure that protections are in place for how your content is used. We are committed to making sure our partners respect those decisions.
To opt out of sharing your public blogs’ content with third parties, visit each of your public blogs’ blog settings via the web interface and toggle on the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.
For instructions on how to opt out using the latest version of the app, please visit this Help Center doc.
Please note: If you’ve already chosen to discourage search crawling of your blog in your settings, we’ve automatically enabled the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.
If you have concerns, please read through the Help Center doc linked above and contact us via Support if you still have questions.
I combined the new Instagram Reel preview with the teaser on the single's pre-save page to create a longer preview of Adam's new single, Floppy Fish Trust Me Car Trouble! A song at least 10 years in the making will be ours on March 1st... I can't wait!!
A delightful Owl City song that describes a blonde with lots of quirky tattoos;
“She had that old movie quote: ‘We’re gonna need a bigger boat’, 🚤 two tiny waves on her toes, 🌊 and turtle tracks on her collar bones” 🐢“She had a shark on her arm, 🦈 a pirate shredding the gnar, 🏴☠️ an octopus wearing shades, 🐙 and seagull wings on her shoulder blades” 🪽
Such a silly song, it’s my favourite from the new Coco Moon album 🌙
I included some closeups! I put a lot of detail into this one 💕
