Not bad for a first pass I think, though I always find Honeycrisp tricky to visualize in a 3D way. I know how she's meant to look, I just find it hard to keep her consistent... you can see in this gif that it isn't perfect and yet here we are! Attempting to give it a go! Maybe I'll get better!

Last night I decided that Honey has a bad, no good, awful design and I’m going to change it, so here’s the process so far, starting with Attempt #1!

She’s just boring! She is nothing but nice, and I’ve heard your cries to make her less bland so here we go!

Here is a villain version of Honeycrisp! Her new name could be Vinegar Wilt and she could poison flowers just by her sour repellent presence.

You could also leave suggestions on how to improve her! I need help, she’s SO in need of a massive overhaul.

Shaking off the drawing cobwebs with a bit of Honeycrisp because she always guarantees a good time when making art! Honey just lets all the sunshine in!

So one of my favorite ships is of course Cadence x Big Macintosh and I had this drawing laying about to show off the genetics of their children as I’ve designed.

Cadence and Big Mac have four children total, and of those four one child (Cortland) is adopted, this picture here is to show their biological children (L-to-R): Honeycrisp Blossom, Ambrosia and Concorde Amoretto.

All Three Girls:

- Every girl has the gene for tri-color hair from Cadence who has it from her family - she is on the same family tree as Rainbow Dash so the multi-color hair gene is potent and strong.

- Every girl has thick curly hair, from both Pear Butter and Cadence herself, it’s just varying degrees of textures.

Honey has curly hair when it gets humid or wet but her hair can mostly settle into her big ice cream spirals.

Amber mostly doesn’t have curly hair just thick hair and it waves out but under extreme temperatures she can fuzz up into humid Bride of Frankenstein hair more because it doesn’t go into curls naturally.

Connie has curlier hair so it doesn’t want to be tamed into a style like Honey or Amber so she just wears it natural and is the only one to curl up into a spiral at the end like Cadence.

Honey:

- Honey is a similar shade of pink to her mother Cadence, however her tone is warmer accounting for the red from her father Big Mac.

- Honey shares a similar eye color with her mother, meanwhile her fluffy fetlocks and colorful hooves are shared with her father (though the color of her hooves comes from her mother).

- Cadence and Big Mac both have a gene for freckles, so each of their daughters has freckles.

- Honey‘s cutie mark is an apple blossom which is representative of her family and heritage as an Apple but her love and devotion from Cadence is represented by how the petals and center are hearts.

Amber:

- Amber gets her coat color from her father and her wings from her mother.

- Both have freckles, the color of them is from Big Mac but the ones on her neck and shoulders are from Cadence.

- Fluffy fetlocks and hoof color from Big Mac

- Eye color from Apple Bloom and Granny Smith

Connie:

- Coat color from Granny Smith

- Eye color from Big Mac

- Pegasus gene from Cadence

Remember when Cozy Glow was just never given an explanation for her villainous nature and was throw in Tartarus and then frozen in stone? I have decided to steal her for myself and give her a backstory and a plot!

She’s the reverse Sunset Shimmer a young human runaway who found the mirror portal and then decided to make all these magical ponies into her new toys to play with, unwilling to see them as anything other than her pawns. Sort of a twisted evil version of the concept of a child playing with toys. Instead of being frozen in stone, only her forearm is frozen because the magic hit Tirek and Chrysalis first and she managed to find a portal before she froze fully, but the spell is living in her stone hand and if she ever returns she will be frozen. So she needs to find more magic in the Equestria Girls realm (her old home) to fix her hand, free her old allies and take revenge on the Mane Six.

So this is just my artistic interpretation of that concept! ♟
