Due to reasons relating to their past (read: playing spy on a kingdom for too long, and witnessing uglier sides of humanity that they haven’t forgotten), Eruin has a very much neutral stance on humans.

They consider them to be neither inherently good nor inherently bad, but the heart of each must be judged accordingly — which as a Mew, they are finely attuned to. All humans have their shadows.

They don’t mingle with human society as often as they used to, but they do keep up to date enough to blend in fairly well if they have to. It’s easy for them, being able to travel easily almost anywhere and disguise themselves however they want. But they have no interest in intervening in any human matters unless it directly concerns them or another that they consider close or under their care. They’re retired.

“Falling like ashes to the ground…” Celebi’s words were quiet as they started their decent to the ground, having spent so long in the air from exploring the area of Holon already.

Their eyes were closed as they relied on memory alone to find a nice space to rest a while. Maybe once they had rested some they would search out Eruin and see how the other Mythical was doing. That sounded like a good plan for the moment.

Little beknownst to the grass-type, the Mew was already in the vicinity. Not close nearby — but with a minuscule exertion of their abilities, they could be there in an instant. And Eruin had kept an awareness of Celebi’s approximate location, in case they were needed.

They looked in the direction where the Celebi would be, drifting toward the earth, before disappearing and reappearing nearer to the other mythical in the blink of an eye. They flew over to where Celebi had come to a rest on a soft pocket of grass under the trees. Ah, the shade of the Mirage Forest was certainly a good place to take a rest.

The blue Mew settled themselves in the branches just above Celebi, watching to see if they would fall asleep. They wouldn’t bother Celebi if they slept, but if Celebi noticed them, they were happy to talk.

At that Celebi nodded, accepting the Mew’s words at face value. After all, there was no reason to doubt their new friend, as they had appeared to be honest and forward with answering questions so far.

“Well that is good to hear!” Celebi’s voice was more relaxed, glad that even though the other Mythical had been around such a strange machine and people that they hadn’t changed because of it. Maybe they’d be safe to explore the past without worry then!

Once more looking from the Mew in front of them, Celebi looked back to the strange outline of the city on the horizon, interested by what was there and how it all looked. Absently did the Grass type begin to move towards the location, only advancing a short distance before realizing what they were doing and looking back to their new friend.

“Do you think you should show me around part of the city that was left?” Interest was evident in their tone, head subtly tilted to the side as they spoke. While Celebi wouldn’t mind exploring alone, to have a sort of guide would be helpful in knowing what was around, plus it would be good company too.

“Of course, I can show you!” The Shiny Mew had barely finished telepathising their answer before whizzing in a circle in the air in a display of enthusiasm. They stopped ahead of Celebi, in the direction of the city, essentially trying to reflect the grass-type’s interest.

Eruin would be glad to show the Celebi around. They had too little interaction with other Pokémon these days, kept to themselves too much (by their own choice), and they felt it in the lack of practice relating to them. But just the little that they had talked with Celebi today had been good. They should really do this more often.

“If you’ve been in older cities before, you probably won’t find much that different. But a new place always has its own charm.”

Some might consider Eruin's decision to leave Almia to be irresponsible, with having been one of the region's guardians and all, but given their state of being highly weakened when they did leave, it wasn't an unrealistic decision.

Ultimately, even though they were essentially a deity figure, and played important roles, Almia isn't even their birthplace. After seeing so much happen over time, they were tired, and wanted to go somewhere smaller and quieter. So they went back to the Holon area, their original home.

They may be a special Mew, but they are still just a Pokémon, and they have their limits.
