anyway i will admit it. i’ve been going down a sailor moon rabbit hole for the past couple weeks. I finally paid off my preorder of genshin plushies so now that i’m free to spend and save again for the time being I’ve been buying some lil sailor moon keychains and tidbits. I bought an acrylic doodad of the Amazoness gals in their sailor outfits from that new movie, and I’ve got some rubber keychains of Saturn, Pluto, and some sanrio friends on order, and i’m tempted to get some more keychains of the gals and sanrio friends. I’ve been eyeing an official plushie of Pallapalla too, since she’s been one of my favs since I was a kid, but since she’s $20 I’ve got her on the backburner until I wrangle some stuff. In the meantime I’ve started working on making my own handmade plushie of her, since my skills at crafting have improved by many leagues since i was a kid, and I’ve gonna need that project to focus on for the next day because otherwise the countdown to the genshin update release is gonna make me lose my mind.

#i got almost two rounds of pities worth of pulls in genshin for lyney the magician boy and by god i WILL get him #ideally i’ll win the 50/50 and then can blow the other half on his dadmom #but if i lose the 50/50 then that’s what the second round of pity is for #don’t worry i only paid $5 a couple months back for a welkin for it. everything else is free #i may have money problems but i blow that money on physical objects. not gacha.

I keep forgettin to post but I did wanna show off today that Magia Record finally gave me vanilla Nagisa after 3000 years and I am very very happy, love to finally have the Her since she’s been one of my favs for years

#i’ve had valentines nagisa for years but not her regular alt #but now i finally have her so i’m very happy #i’m throwing some pulls into yu’s banner because she’s creepy and scary in a gorgeous way #but once that’s done i gotta buckle down and save up for whenever the tart banners rerun so i can FINALLY get lapin #that bunny girl’s my last remaining Most Coveted Unit and once i get her i’ll be able to just follow the path

After seeing Selene's design in Hades II i absolutely HAD to draw her, she was super hard to draw and shade but I think she came out lovely in the end. Selene's been one of my fav Greek gods since I was a kid thanks to Sailor Moon, so seeing her finally get some love makes me very happy!!!!

after i saw selene hadesgame i ran off to start drawin her and did her sketch, lineart, and base coloring today, and will do her shading tomorrow. i’ve liked selene ever since i was a kid thanks to my childhood love of sailor moon, so seeing her show up in hades 2 makes me very very very happy, can’t wait for the fanartists to crank out fanmade keychains of her to me to get.

also i have to let it be known that when i noticed that selene’s horse on her art is a pegasus i HOLLERED. because they are hurtling hilariously close to actual sailor moon references with that choice and i think it’d be so funny if supergiant actually did it. for context princess serenity and prince endymion in sailor moon are based on selene and endymion in greek myth, which is why it’d be a power move if they made a Joke. even beyond selene though hades 2 seems like it’s such a moon-imagery-heavy game that like. making sailor moon references given sailor moon’s own occasional homages to greek myth would be absolute low-hanging fruit. even references just because yippee moons would be an obvious choice to make!!!! they should do it.
