How are you doing today? I hope you're having a wonderful day, and I just adore your writing!! Keep up the good work! <3
Can I have an exquisite, sophisticated, brilliant villain who always has the last word but is head over heels in love with a cheery, loving hero who always makes everyone's day brighter, if that's okay with you?
Thank you sm! ✨
“Sunshine,” the villain said, their voice as calm as ever. “I need you to calm down.”
The hero — almost hyperventilating as of right now — didn’t really have time to listen to their enemy. They were just staring at the rising water. And at the wound in the villain’s arm.
“This is fine,” they mumbled. “It’s cool. It’s alright. It’s gonna be fine. It’s fine.”
“It is, sunshine.” The villain let their thumb run along their jaw. The hero knew what it meant: their brain was working on a solution.
But as usual, they didn’t say anything.
“The water is rising slowly,” the hero concluded, trying to come up with their own solution, even though they were in no shape to think rationally. “That gives us time. It’s good. It’s fine. I can take care of your wounds.”
“No,” the villain said. They looked at the hero, their jaw clenching.
It was so stupid.
The hero had tried to bail them out of jail and now the security system was mean enough to let them drown. This didn’t seem fair.
Something had given impetus to turn on the sprinkler system, probably to damage pyrokinetic villains (which the villain was not and neither was the hero). In a small locked room like this, the hero’s most horrific nightmares came alive with the water licking at their ankles.
“Get on my shoulders.”
Huh?!
“Pardon?” the hero asked.
The villain’s hand grabbed the hero’s wrist.
“Climb. I’ll help, sunshine.”
“Your arm is hurt,” the hero pointed out. “I should take a loo-”
“Do you want to die?” the villain asked, their voice still calm but now with the slightest indication of being edged.
“…no.”
“Climb. There have to be air ducts hidden over the ceiling plates. This room is part of the kitchen complex. There have to be vents above. Building them around would cost more money and the whole facility was already expensive enough. The government saved money where it could. So if you can reach them and break the plates, we can escape.”
The hero stared at them. And the water rose to their calves.
“Your arm—”
“Sunshine. I’m not watching you die because my arm hurt a little,” the villain answered. They were still so calm, acting so cold. As if they’d been in this situation a hundred times.
“Hurt a little?! You’ve been shot.”
“Grazed by a stray bullet. As so many times before. I can handle it.”
“…fine,” the hero said eventually. They hesitated as they grabbed the villain’s shoulder. They could feel the heat of the villain’s skin through their shirt.
“I’ll grab your hips, okay?” the villain asked.
And then the hero saw it.
They were blushing. The villain was blushing.
“Yeah…” the hero answered, not trying to stare too much. They didn’t want to make the villain feel uncomfortable.
“Put your foot on my thigh. I can push you up, alright?” As foretold, the villain’s hands grabbed the hero. They couldn’t tear their gaze from the blush and they almost froze. Until they realised that the villain had to be in a lot of pain.
“Yup,” they answered. Simultaneously, the hero obliged and put their foot where the villain wanted it be.
The villain’s fingers pressing into their flesh wasn’t as uncomfortable as they’d imagined. The villain was gentle, they were careful.
The hero swallowed.
“Okay. Put your thighs on my shoulders,” the villain said and this time, their voice wasn’t as steady as before.
The hero did so, their hands accidentally brushing the villain’s hair.
“Oh, sorry—” The villain grabbed them immediately, their fingers rubbing the hero’s shins — probably subconsciously.
Sitting on the villain’s shoulders was quite comfortable.
“Don’t apologise, sunshine. It’s good. Can you reach the ceiling?”
“Yeah, I think I can even push up the plate.”
The hero could hear a relieved laugh. And then, “Perfect. You’re so perfect.”
The hero felt their cheeks burn.

Prompt #4
(Hero) took a deep breath. ‘Look, I know we don’t see eye to eye but—’
‘No shit.’ (Villain) said. ‘I’m like—3 heads taller than you.’
‘You know what? Screw the mission. I’ll just cut your head off.’
‘If you can reach it, sweetheart.’
‘DON’T call me that!’

As everyone knows, houseplants help against low moods, improve the indoor air, are beautiful to look at, turn into cuddly dryads when properly cared for... the usual stuff. 😌
For today I urgently wanted to draw something green and wholesome, considering that spring is already around the corner! 🌸 Hope you enjoy the plantmommies taking care of their plantmom.
Take care, soak up the sun and breathe deep! Also, water your plants! 👀 Much love!

Hai owo Can you make villain get jealous because hero starts falling in love with a citizen? Thank you so much moth :3 (Also happy late b-day!)
(thank you for the birthday wishes! I’m so sorry this is coming late, hope you enjoy!)
“Hold the fuck on, Villain!”
Hero sprints after their nemesis, who runs away with a look of grim resolve on their face. They round a corner, skidding into a wall, but they quickly recover to begin climbing.
“Will you-“ Hero huffs, heaving themselves onto the roof, “please wait.”
“Why should I? It looks like you’re moving on to someone pretty well!”
Villain winces at the petty whine that had crept into their voice. The criminal only turns away from the hero, crossing their arms. At least they weren’t running anymore.
“Villain, what are you talking about?”
“You know what I’m talking about!”
“Clearly, I don’t-“
“That precious civilian of yours!” Villain yells, and their eyes darken.
Hero can’t help the smile that tugs the corner of their lips at the mention of Civilian, and Villain catches this. That look of affection on Hero’s face, not directed at them, riles them up badly.
“Ugh! I don’t know what you see in them!”
“That is none of your business!” Hero snaps. “Why are you so irked by my crush on Civilian anyways?”
“Because it’s only supposed to be us. It always has! We’re the only people who are ever going to understand each other, and no regular civilian could ever give you what I could.”

writing snippet #20
tw: implied abuse
“The whole city is out looking for you.”
At the sound of a very unexpected voice, Civilian flinched violently. They were about to shoot to their feet and make a run for it, but something hard clamped around their wrist, and they were yanked back before they could even take a step.
A gloved hand pressed firmly against their mouth, keeping their screams quiet and muffled.
“Do you want them to find you?” Villain’s cold voice snapped bitterly into their ear, making the hairs on the back of their neck prick. Civilian instantly stilled, forcing themself to push down their primal instincts. Villain released them, and the civilian wrenched away, cowering against the wall.
“How amusing,” Villain grinned, folding their arms casually across their chest and leaning lazily against the opposite wall. “To think that they’re kicking up such a fuss for a little thing like you.”
Civilian’s head snapped towards a loud shout, eyes squinting to get a look at all the people rushing across the street, too close to their small hideout. They noticed Villain’s hard gaze watching them too, eyes narrowed in thought. A beat of terror ripped at their heart.
“Please don’t turn me in…” They choked, unable to stop their voice from shaking. Villain’s head tilted towards them, lips curved with a coy smile.
“I don’t know…” They muttered. “Mayor has put out a pretty hefty reward, just to see his kid back home safe. You know what I could do with that much money?”
Civilian choked on a desperate sob. “No. No, please.” Their chest grew tight, and Civilian could barely breathe. “Please, don’t let them find me. H-He’s going to…When he finds out I ran away, h-he—”
The dark night around them began to blur, becoming nothing but an echo of colours and swirls. Their body was collapsing in on themself, but Civilian could barely feel the harsh press of the wall behind them, just stuck in a mess of their own panic and thoughts.
Civilian could only regain control when Villain’s hands firmly gripped their shoulders, grounding them back into reality. They frantically filled their lungs, blinking back the hot tears that had invaded their vision.
“Hey,” their soothing voice struck right through them, and Civilian weakly pressed themself closer, grasping onto the perceived safety. “Don’t start crying on me now.”
Civilian clenched their fingers and released a shuddering breath, trying to do their reality checks. It wasn’t rare they were the victim of panic attacks, but it was the first time somebody had been their to help them. Civilian shifted in Villain’s arms, wondering when they’d wrapped them up in a warm hug.
“Thank you…” They sniffled, swallowing the soreness in their throat. Villain was all but quiet for a moment, before their steady voice vibrated through the air.
“Why did you run?”
Civilian instantly stiffened. They were struck speechless for a second, before they began to visibly shake once more, shaking their head from side to side.
“Please…” They croaked, clinging onto Villain ever tighter than before. “I-I can’t go back, not if my father knows I ran away! H-He’ll just hurt me again and I…”
Civilian’s voice was diminished like ash, and they crumbled into another set of violent sobs. Villain’s brow pinched and they quietly shushed them, eyeing the busy streets subtly. They held the civilian like that until their eyelids were blinking drowsily, and Villain couldn’t help but find it quite adorable.
“Civilian.” The civilian glanced up at them with clumped eyelashes. “This might give you a little bit of a headache.”
They didn’t know what happened after those words. The next thing Civilian knew, they were waking in with people surrounding them, and hands grappling at their body. At first, their heart ripped into two, thinking that the Villain had betrayed them, but they quickly realised those hands were pulling rope from around their wrists, and a gag from their mouth.
Their father, Mayor, dragged them into a hug upon seeing them, whispering frantically into their shoulder.
“My sweet child,” he hummed shakily, arms drawing tighter around them. “You’re safe now, I promise. Villain isn’t going to hurt you anymore.”
Civilian was reported to have been kidnapped by Villain in the middle of the night, but was later found by a task force in the streets, bound and gagged.
The civilian had never been more grateful for a fabricated story in all their life.

Writing Snippet - Glass Haven
~
Thanks to @writing-on-the-wahl and @valiantlytransparentwhispers for helping me a lil with brainstorming. This is a longish one, hope you enjoy :)
Most of the time, Civilian preferred plants to people. They listened better than anyone she knew and they expected nothing of her but to be nurtured and cared for. She could appreciate that.
Civilian crouched to water the plants lined on the floor of the rooftop greenhouse, being careful to give them each the proper amount.
She could get lost in the quiet comfort of it all, in the soothing blanket of dappled greens and fading sunlight in her little glass haven.
The ferns swayed in a lazy dance as Civilian gave them their daily drink of water. The little patch of fuscia-pink petunias hanging above them soaked in the waning sun, a warm glow gently washing the glass walls in an orange hue.
Without warning, the silence cracked.
The door to the rooftop crashed against the wall as it was thrown open. The sound sliced through Civilian's quiet world of calm, sending her heart leaping into her mouth.
Two sets of footsteps crunched against the ground.
"Hey, hey- I swear I had nothing to do with that plot, it wasn't me who ratted you out!" a panicked voice, one she didn't recognize, said.
Civilian peeked up over the gardenias to see what was going on. A taller man dragged the first forward by the back of his neck. The panicked man's shoes scuffed at the ground.
The taller one--
Villian, Civilian realized with a sickening knot in her stomach--
-flashed his teeth in a lethal smile, shaking his head in seeming disappointment. "Now, now, Todd. Don't you know how much I loathe liars?" His smile dropped. "I'm feeling generous, I'll give you one chance not to do it again."
The other man--Todd--was shaking like an autumn leaf, holding his hands up in a placating gesture as Villain shoved him to stumble a few steps forward.
"I swear, sir, I didn't, I-"
Villain tsked, his expression one of casual boredom. Only his eyes, which locked onto the man with laser-focus, revealed otherwise. He stepped closer. Civilian heard Todd's breathing hitch as Villain reached out, straightening the other man's collar.
Tension hung like static in the air.
"Wrong answer."
Villain seized hold of the man by his coat, throwing him straight through the wall of the greenhouse with inhuman strength.
Civilian shrieked as the glass shattered, shards peppering her hair as Todd rolled to stop unconscious at her feet. She yelped again at the sight, scurrying back on her hands and knees.
Scrambling to her feet, Civilian jerked the door open--running straight into a solid chest.
She made an embarrassing squeak at the impact, looking up at Villain's face. He was comprised of sharp edges and artful contours, as if his features were chiseled from stone. The light of the setting sun caught in his eyes. They were a cat-like green that seemed to radiate under the sun's glow.
Oh no.
Civilian shifted her body so that she was no longer between Villain and the greenhouse. Her gaze didn't waver from him as she slowly backed away.
Villain watched her with interest, matching each of her backward steps with one toward her. "Well, well. What do we have here?"
The air around her felt too thick, too suffocating.
"I haven't done anything," she managed quietly, taking a cautious step further away from him.
She felt like a gazelle trying to sneak past a lion.
Villain stepped closer.
"You were watching me and my, ahh, business associate."
His voice was smooth and steady. His piercing gaze dipped over her, assessing.
"You-You broke my greenhouse." Hers came out raspy. Raw at the edges and entirely too frightened.
Villain hummed at that. His gaze flicked behind her briefly, then he took several strides closer, effectively closing the distance between them.
Civilian jolted backward to escape. The soles of her shoes skidded over the rooftop's edge and she teetered backward in a flail of limbs. Her stomach plummeted and bottomed out.
Villain caught her arms just below the wrists, keeping her from falling but holding her off balance.
A choked whimper caught in her throat. Wide-eyed, her gaze snapped back up to the Villain's face.
He tutted, clearly enjoying himself.
"Quite the jumpy kitten you are. So reckless. Have you never been taught to watch where you're going?"
"Please don't drop me," she breathed.
Villain smiled. Too lovely of a thing to suit his face.
"That depends entirely on how you answer my questions, kitten." His tone turned to a velvet purr. "And do be honest with me. My car is somewhere below and I'd hate for you to crush it. I only just replaced my windshield."
Civilian forgot how to breathe. She took a dizzying glance at the ground below, terror seizing her throat.
"Eyes on me, kitten." He sounded a fraction gentler, the corners of his mouth lifting.
Civilian looked up again, swallowing a hard lump that wouldn't go away. Her insides sloshed cold.
"Good girl. Take a breath. Now. What were you doing out here crouched behind some glorified shrubbery? Not spying on me, were you?"
Civilian shook her head vigorously. "Just watering the plants."
Villain cocked his head to the side. "Hmm. You're not working for anyone, then? Hero, perhaps?"
Civilian barked a startled laugh, nervous and ready to burst at the seams. "Do-Do I look like the type of person a hero would ask to help catch you?"
Villain's smile turned more genuine, amusement flickering over his features.
"So you're not a spy, not working for hero. You're not a reporter either?"
She shook her head again. She sucked in a breath and it rattled against her ribcage. "No. I'm just a gardener."
The Villain studied her face. Glanced over his shoulder at the fractured greenhouse behind him, then back at her. His searing attention picked her apart. She felt like she would unravel and unravel until nothing was left.
"You live here in this complex, then?"
Civilian stilled. Considered lying. "Yes."
Villain tugged her onto stable ground, letting her find her footing before steering her away from the edge. He waited until she was steady before letting go.
Civilian felt like she might faint. She needed something small to focus on. She zeroed in on his slender hands, delicate and uncalloused despite all the bloodshed they'd caused.
Her pulse roared in her ears.
"Alright, kitten," he purred, tapping her nose, "I believe you."
Civilian gusted out a breath, swaying a few feet back, further into the safety of the center of the roof.
Villain followed her casually and she didn't dare dart away this time.
His gaze wandered over the broken glass of the greenhouse, next seeming to map the dozens of cheery plants inside.
Each meticulously pruned and tended to. Each a demonstration of the time and care put into them.
Villain looked at Civilian again. She stared in mourning at the damage done to her little patch of heaven.
"You really should be more careful," he repeated. His tone shifted teasing, but not cruel. "I have better things to do than rescue kittens from trees, or from falling off rooftops, as the case may be."
She gave a jerky nod, not sure what to say.
He walked to the door leading to the stairwell, glancing back at the civilian before disappearing.
The next morning when she returned to clean the mess, the entire glass wall had been replaced. Inside, was a pot of roses with a note stuck in the soil.
In awe, she picked it up and read.
'I'll knock next time. To add to your collection. -V'

The villain had to admit, they were not immune to the sight of the hero kneeling before them.
"...cannot fight two wars at once," the hero was saying, steady and dignified, their clenched jaw the only sign of their tension. "In a choice between the annihilation of my people or surrender, I come to negotiate terms that will be mutually beneficial against a common enemy."
"Interesting," the villain said, popping a grape into their mouth. They had day dreamed about this, though their version typically involved a couple guards to hold the hero down. Never had they dreamed the hero would give themselves up of their own accord. "Or, I could make smart decision and sit back, watch you and this new challenger exhaust yourselves, and then swoop in to pick up the pieces."
The hero's jaw clenched even tighter. "If you do nothing, the only pieces left for you will be salted fields and mass graves," they said, almost smoothly enough to hid the raw anger under their words. "I did think you were more avaricious than that."
"Careful, you're throwing insults," the villain said, standing to their feet. "That's not very appropriate when you're begging me to save you. No, no - stay down."
The hero took in a great, shuddering breath, but sank back down to their knees from where they had started to rise. Their face was flushed and their hands clenched around the mudstained hem of their tunic, but they kept their glare fixed on the villain's. The villain didn't mind. They held the hero's gaze with a grin as they strolled down the steps of their dias.
"There will be no negotiation," the villain hummed, savoring the fury and the helplessness in the hero's face. "I get your throne. And I get you."
The hero jerked back as if struck. They did not break eye contact, the villain had to hand it to them. But there was no surprise. Just a despairing acceptance that the worst was happening. "A... a marriage alliance is certainly a solution I am prepared to consider," the hero said.
"Oh, if this were a marriage proposal I'd be the one on my knee." The villain reached out and ran a hand through the hero's hair. Just because they could. The hero shuddered deliciously under their touch as the villain leaned in. "You'll be mine," the villain whispered in their longtime rival's ear. "Whatever I choose to call you, however I choose to use you."
"I'm not accepting that," the hero breathed out.
"You don't have a choice-" the villain started.
"-unless you guarantee my people's safety," the hero finished, eyes fixed past the villain. They were trembling but still so defiant, so brave. "Half your best forces to my borders within the week, another quarter within the month. And no throwing my people off their land - you take them as your own to defend."
The villain stopped in their tracks. Looked down at the hero. "I said no negotiations."
The hero managed a faint smile. "And yet here we are. Negotiating."
The villain drew their dagger. The hero closed their eyes but did not flinch. "Look at you," the villain hummed, teasing the hero's chin up with the edge of the blade. "Out of friends, out of soldiers, out of resources. Begging on your knees and you still don't realize your position."
The hero swallowed again, throat bobbing against the knife. "Take my deal," they said, the self sacrificing idiot. "Save my people. And in return..." Their hand wrapped around the villain's wrist, warm and gently promising. "In return, I suppose you can teach me my position."
The smart play was to do nothing. The smart play was to wait this war out. But the hero was on their knees, on their knees, offering the villain everything... The villain couldn't say no to that. And they didn't.

Villain Dialogue Prompts
“Darling, your effort is commendable. Really. But you should stop before you get hurt.”
“Do you want to play a little game?”
“You should accept the loss humbly while I still allow it.”
“Bloodlust was never a good look on you.”
“I want them to see you how I see you, because they have no idea what you’re really capable of. Do they?”
“Well, aren’t you the little trickster, pet.”
“I hope you die in a fire.”
“That looks like it hurts.”
“Come now Hero, such things aren’t in your nature.”
“Play with me.”
“You’re more like me than you realise. How long do you think it’ll be before they see it too?”
“I don’t want to kill you but get in my way again and I just might have to.”
“How unheroic of you.”
“You look good in my colours.”
“I’m almost tempted to let you live.”
“What’s a little torture between friends?”
“It would be so much easier to kill you if you weren’t so cute.”

‘hero x villain’ prompts
## for a villain who’s whipped for the hero
— scenarios
villain causes a scene just for hero to come by and scold them.
villain shouldn’t even be considered a villain, just a mild inconvenience who wouldn’t stop at anything if hero isn’t the one to chide them.
villain fixing their outfit after doing villainous things, knowing that hero will be coming in a few seconds.
villain making their voice deeper and smoother whenever talking to hero, trying to be suave and mysterious, only to stumble over their words when hero does the same.
— dialogue
“ah, we meet again! what a coincidence, hero.” “you literally denied the other heroes and whined when it wasn’t me. this is not a coincidence, this is babysitting.”
“this is the third time you knocked over this statue of me this week— it’s a wednesday. what do you have to say to yourself?” “it doesn’t do your beautiful face enough justice, can you blame me?” “s-shut up.”
“i’m just saying, i look great under all this hot emo aesthetic.” “oh, i’m so sure.” “you can’t deny me. i wouldn’t deny me. wanna see for yourself?”
“you want me so bad.” “you’re projecting so bad.”
“why are you late?” “i can’t always be on time for hero things.” “>:(“ “come on, i’m sorry. forgive me, please?”
“are you even a villain or a toddler?” “i can be your significant other instead if you just give me a chance.”
“what do you want now!?” “well, maybe a date?”

❛ your hands are scarred from murder, and yet i trust them completely. ❜
❛ whatever you do. you’re still my family. ❜
❛ we could be the greatest team the world has ever seen. ❜
❛ how many times are we going to keep meeting like this? ❜
❛ i just wish i could protect you from everything. ❜
❛ enemies make the best lovers, you know. ❜
❛ sleep. i’ll fight the bad dreams off if they come to get you. ❜
❛ you know, they’re going to use the things you love against you. ❜
❛ truth is, i didn’t expect to get this attached to you. ❜
❛ you frustrate me incredibly. ❜
❛ love me like my demons do. ❜
❛ thinking of you is a poison i drink often. ❜
❛ please don’t make me do this. ❜
❛ don’t do anything stupid until i get back. ❜
❛ you protect what you love. ❜
❛ my heart scares you and a gun doesn’t? ❜
❛ you bandaged my wound with one hand, and held a knife in the other. ❜
❛ you save everyone, but who saves you? ❜
❛ you kill me and you accomplish nothing. your world as you know it will end. ❜
❛ all we do together is make love or fight. ❜
❛ i love the way your eyes light up when someone says ‘it might be dangerous’. ❜
❛ when is a monster not a monster? when you love it. ❜
❛ it’s pathetic really, how much i hope it’s me and you in the end. ❜
❛ you were right. you break everything you touch. ❜
❛ i would destroy myself to fix you. ❜
❛ i’m not going to kill you. you don’t deserve that. ❜
❛ that’s how you want me, isn’t it? desperate, jealous, and willing to kill for you. ❜
❛ i’m sorry you’re afraid of being alone. ❜
❛ they made you into a weapon, and told you to find peace. ❜
❛ i wasn’t there for you when you needed me, and i’m sorry. ❜
❛ ‘all right’ is not a term anyone would use to describe you. ❜
❛ just like old times, huh? ❜
❛ then we fight. together. ❜
❛ oh, i’ve missed this! ❜
❛ i know you. you’re me. ❜
❛ i’ve seen who you are under the mask. ❜
❛ i should kill you. why can’t i kill you?! ❜
❛ i don’t know what i’d do if they hurt you. and that terrifies me. ❜
❛ the world doesn’t need someone like you. the world needs you. ❜
❛ bullet wounds don’t just miraculously heal overnight. ❜
❛ you were fighting to survive. i was fighting to win. ❜
❛ i wasn’t a person to you, i was a weapon, and you needed me to work. ❜
❛ you’re pulling your punches. ❜
❛ i wish things were different between us. ❜
❛ don’t scare me like that. i thought i lost you. ❜
❛ don’t you die on me. ❜
❛ you’re so bad at this. it’s cute. ❜
❛ they don’t know you like i know you. ❜
❛ i broke my rules for you. doesn’t that mean anything? ❜
❛ do you think i’d let anything happen to you? ❜
❛ if i told you about the darkness within me, would you still look at me as you are right now? ❜
