Remember that time in May of last year when it was pointed out how long Louis’ hair was getting…

…but he immediately directed the attention to his Harold’s lovely lengthening locks instead?

Then when Liam tried to argue that Harry’s hair always looked the same, he wasted NO time standing up for his baby.

Like, how dare anyone rain on Harry’s parade and make him feel bad about himself for growing his hair out when they’re doing it together. Rude.

Not to mention, the month after that happened, Harry gave some beautiful relationship advice to a fan whose ex-significant other didn’t have much respect.

Meanwhile, Louis’ hair was getting even longer as well…

And Harry was starting to stand up for himself too.

Then he decided to proudly start ditching the headscarves.

Finally perfected a full bun.

And even boldly tried out some braids.

And was comfortable enough to make statements like this one.

By the time October came around, the WWA tour was ending and guess what? Louis got a haircut. They filmed the video for Steal My Girl a few days later, which is where Harry confidently debuted to the rest of the world the prettiest mane in all the land.

And he hasn’t given a single flying fuck since. 

So yeah, I’d say Louis helped out a bit at the start.
