this lowkey got me because i wasn’t sure of how to write it or if this is exactly what the anon meant. i hope you all enjoy! and ofc, no gif or photo because i don’t want to reuse the same things again.

When you had first met Hook, it was when you were down in Jacksonville. He was already so infatuated with you and wanted to take you on a date, but unfortunately you were only there for a day before it was time for you to go back on the road with your kid.

Hook had actually ended up meeting you kid, accidentally, which you had thought would ruin things, but somehow it hadn’t. Much to your surprise, he liked kids and had no problem with you being a single mother. The only thing that brought him down was the uncertainty of when you’d next see each other.

Thanks for technology, texting and facetiming filled that void while the two of you got to know each other better through this time. The distance made is a struggle and sometimes you felt like disbanding the connection, in order to get rid of your attachment to Hook, but in the end you never did.

Hook and you would eventually plan to see each other, whether it be you driving and or flying or him flying to wherever you were. He had invited you to a few Dynamites and the memories from each one were ingrained in both of your heads, so you two would never forget once the moment was over.

Hook would sometimes vent to you about how most times he felt like giving everything up to just be there with you and raise your kid alongside you, which you’d have to talk him out of because he’s already risked so much from his sudden career change and eventually joining AEW.

What would hurt you most of all is how much your kid would miss Hook. They got attached and sometimes the phone calls weren’t enough. You could tell how much it broke Hook too and if this didn’t work, it’d ruin you just as much.

However, you and Hook had ended up making it work. You didn’t stop your life entirely and compromised with him to take breaks from your travels, while he also compromised on taking breaks when he could from his AEW obligations.

Being friends with Santana and Ortiz had given you super thick skin. These guys were tough and didn’t bullshit, always giving it to you straight and busting your chops when need be. Of course, you learned over the course of your friendship to not take them so seriously sometimes.

Santana and Ortiz, as intimidating as they can be when they’re both mad at you, were still loving and treated you like a younger sibling... even if you all were the same age or weren’t.

Being best friends with Santana and Ortiz meant having an annoying brother, a father, and best friend all in one. Whenever you’d pursue someone, they needed to get the stamp of approval from Santana and Ortiz. If they didn’t get it, well.... you’d never see that person again. However, sometimes Santana and Ortiz knew what they were talking about and caught all the red flags before you even could.

Sometimes it fluctuated from who was the toughest on you whenever you put yourself into danger.. which was often. When Ortiz would be mad at you, it’d be hell and Santana would have to tell him to ease up. When Santana would be mad at you, it wasn’t as bad. The two of them and their anger combined? Get ready to beg Sammy to be the one to tell them to relax.

Santana and Ortiz were great best friends, though. As much as the three of you would pick on each other and joke, they always made sure to check up on you. The two of them knew you for a very long time and could read you like a book, they knew you better than you knew yourself.

These dudes would go to hell and back for you. When you were down, they’d pick you right back up. Comforting you was never a chore for Santana and Ortiz. Anytime they could help you, they’d make sure to do it. And their advice? They’d need their own ted talk, for sure.

“Qué pasa contigo, Y/N? What’s going on? We know something’s wrong.”

“Yeah, Y/N. Santana is right, tell us what happened.”

Let’s not also not forget the conversations you’d all engage in Spanish. More often than not, the three of you spent more time shit-talking each other in Spanish than you did having an actual conversation in the language. It made for great inside jokes!

Whenever the three of you would go back home in New York, the softies in the three of you would happen. Hitting up their favorite food spots, places they normally hung out, and then of course being with their families. Santana and Ortiz loved their city, and them sharing it with you made your friendship even closer. The three of you bonded from the things you all held close to you and it was important to know that this is a lasting friendship.
