The woman sitting across from you reaches for the black box that lays abandoned on the windowsill, handing it over to her friend as she says a quick “thanks” and pulls out a stick. Her lighter is already between her fingers as she puts it up to her lips, the familiar click filling the quiet of the diner as she lights the end and takes a deep drag before exhaling the smoke in the air.

SYNOPSIS. okay, maybe haechan did create the competition himself. but now that it's approaching, he's getting a little anxious at the thought of you lying under someone that isn't him. but he shouldn't be thinking like that since you two have never been exclusive, and that had always been the plan. so why does he still clench his fists when he imagines you kissing another one of his friends? to get over these feelings, haechan decides that he needs to win. and that's why he makes sure your last fuck with him before the competition starts is the best experience you've had in your life.

SYNOPSIS. jeno, to absolutely everyone's surprise, is the first one to approach you. he meets you after your soccer practice, and asks you out to dinner. under all of those ripped jeans, meaningless tattoos and piercings, you find out that he's a total softie. jeno wants to prove to his friends that he's more than “just another e-boy” and he knows he'll achieve that by fucking the hell out of you, giving you no option but to rank him first amongst his friends. however, he didn't think that it'd lead to you being on his mind 24/7.

SYNOPSIS. frustrated that jeno got to you first, mark makes the second move. this guy is so used to being babied by girls and being called names like “adorable” that he doesn't believe he can seduce you without any alcohol in his system. so he throws a party and decides to speak to you then. although his attempts fail miserably, the two of you still end up in his bed, and mark is so shocked that his plan actually worked that he starts laughing..midway during sex. this obviously turns you off, and you end up leaving. determined to try again, mark hits on you for a second time, this time in a library, but it goes completely different this time.

SYNOPSIS. when renjun finds out that jeno and mark have already fucked you, he's speechless. out of all of his friends, he's known for having the best game when it comes to getting girls into his bed. but with you, you just don't seem to pick up on his hints at all. do you think he randomly decided sit next to you in your shared financial elective class together, for no good reason at all? all those tricks that worked on other girls don't seem to work on you at all, so renjun decides to use what he knows how to do best: brute honesty.

SYNOPSIS. jaemin couldn't care less about this competition. he was practically forced to agree to it by his friends, but he didn't put in any effort into seducing you. it isn't until the day he coincidentally spotted you running around the sports building's hallway in nothing but a towel that devilish thoughts start to creep into his mind. not to mention that you've become friends with his housemates now, so he's been seeing you a lot more often, and he can't get rid of his thoughts. against his own pride and will, jaemin approaches you with the hopes of bringing you back to his bed.

PROLOGUE. 1,580 words.

You and Donghyuck had been sleeping with each other for a little over two months, but you’d been friends for a lot longer than that. The deal was made while you two were drunk out of your minds, finding yourselves agreeing to a dare during a game of spin the bottle. You had to spend a few minutes locked inside a tight wardrobe together, and the two of you just couldn’t keep your hands off of each other. After that incident, a seed of sexual tension was planted between the two of you, growing with every interaction you had.

It was only natural that you’d end up being friends with benefits.

But Dongyhyuck never expected this to come out of it.

Sitting in the bleachers with his housemates, Donghyuck was watching you in your element. He’d always found you hot whenever you played soccer, loving the grip your navy blue shorts had on your thighs and the pool of sweat that would always sit in between your tits.

For some reason, his housemates decided to tag along on this specific day. All four of them.

Donghyuck found it suspicious at first, but he’d forgotten about it by the time he saw you running onto the field. Ignoring the fact that he found your skimpy uniform hot as fuck, Donghyuck was also one of your good friends. He loved watching you play because it was something you were passionate about, and over the course of being friends with you, he somehow became passionate about it as well.

After you scored a goal, he stood up and jumped, screaming your name in pride. His friends did too, and suddenly his attention was drawn away from you.

“Since when did you care about soccer?” He asked the shortest of the five, Renjun.

Renjun shot up his brows and appeared to look offended, “What are you talking about? I’ve been keeping up with the matches since the season started.” He replied with wavering eyes.

Donghyuck scoffed and crossed his arms. “Yeah? So what’s the Blue Star’s rank in the league?”

Renjun’s eyes flickered between Donghyuck and the field, making the taller of the two laugh. “Obviously first, look at how good they’re playing.”

“They’re second.” Donghyuck corrected, looping his arm around Renjun’s shoulder. “Now tell me why you’re really here before I get the security to kick you out.”

Renjun whipped his head, “You can’t do that, this is just a college match. And besides,” He shuffled in his pocket before bringing out a ticket, “I paid to be here.”

“Well, guess what, smartass, I don’t even have to pay to be here.”

At that comment, the other three boys all turned to Donghyuck’s direction.

“You didn’t have to pay?” Mark asked, “Why not?”

“Me and Y/N have been friends since, like, last year. Why wouldn’t she get me free tickets?” He said in an obvious tone.

All four of Donghyuck’s friends had their jaws hung low. Some less than others (read: Jaemin) but they still had an expression on their face that Donghyuck could read very clearly as jealousy. They definitely weren’t jealous of the fact that he received free soccer tickets, so that only left one other option. To test his theory, Donghyuck asked another specific question, but this time, he narrowed his eyes.

“Name all the members of the team.”

“Y/N-” Jeno and Renjun said in unison, before Donghyuck bursted into a fit of laughter.

“I knew it!” He quipped, smiling in disbelief. “You guys have a thing for Y/N, don’t you?”

Renjun snickered, “Get over yourself. We just think she’s hot.”

“So you, Mr I-Hate-Capitalism, chose to pay for a home game in your own college to watch Y/N play because you think she’s..hot?” He asked, tilting his head sarcastically, before eyeing his other friends as well. “Do you know how creepy this is?” He laughed, making a mental note to forever remember this moment in case it’s needed for some serious blackmail in the future. “If I told Y/N this-”

Mark pushed Renjun out of the way to shut Donghyuck up by covering his mouth. “No, please don’t tell her.” He begged, looking at his friend with pleading eyes.

“Wow!” Donghyuck muffled, “You must really like her, huh?”

Sighing, Mark dropped his hand and rubbed the back of his neck while peering over at your running figure. Donghyuck copied him, and smiled upon the greeting of how cute your ass looked in those shorts.

“I don’t know about them lot,” Mark pointed at the other boys who were watching you play like you were some A List athlete. “But I think she’s really cool.”

“Cool would be an understatement,” Donghyuck shrugged, “but I get it. It’s just a crush though, right?” He asked, before putting his hands on his hips and interrogating the rest of his friends. “You guys know I’m the one sleeping with her, okay, so you better keep your hands off of her.” He said a little too loudly. “Especially you, Renjun.”

“Hey!” Renjun raised his hands in defeat. “I’m just watching her play.”

“You better be..” Donghyuck mumbled, before returning back to his stand and watching you.

When the game was over, Donghyuck rushed to congratulate you on your win. He ushered his pathetic excuses for friends over to follow him as he jumped down the bleachers to get to you.

You ran up to him with just as much enthusiasm, and jumped into his hold to squeeze him as tight as you could. While you and Donghyuck were swirling around and exchanging excited screams, the remaining four boys watched in despair.

Donghyuck wasn’t the only one who liked the way your shorts shaped your ass and thighs.

After what felt like an etenrity to the boys, Donghyuck finally introduced them to you. “Uh, so these are my friends.”

Instantly, you reached out your sweaty palm to shake Renjun’s hand, and he gladly returned it. “Renjun, right? We share a finance elective.”

“Yeah, we do.” He replied, trying to hide the fact that he had just been watching you play soccer for the past hour.

“Okay, and this is Jaemin, Mark, and Jeno.”

You shook every one of their hands, and Jeno tried his best not to appear disappointed that he was introduced to you last.

“Nice to meet you guys!” You chirped, waving your hand. “But I gotta’ go and celebrate with the girls. See you around!”

As soon as you left, a devilish smirk grew onto Donghyuck’s lips. “Oh, you guys are such perverts.” He laughed.

Jeno glared at him, “Hey, you’re the one who sneaks her into the house every weekend, Hyuck.” He pointed at him. “Don’t blame us for liking her when all we hear is you breaking her back every fucking night.”

A little taken aback, Donghyuck couldn’t help his smile grow wider. “You listen to us having sex?”

“We can’t not listen to you, you idiot.” Jaemin groaned, still scrolling through his phone. “You two are at it like dogs all the time.”

“Quit the bullshit. You can wear earphones, make the TV louder, leave, or anything. You choose to listen to us, don’t you?” When Donghyuck didn’t receive an answer, he turned to the only boy in the group that didn’t know how to lie. “Mark?”

“Okay, maybe sometimes we listen.” He admitted, causing an uproar from his friends. “Well- It’s not- I don’t know, man, she’s hot.”

Defeated, Jeno nods along with him. “She is, Hyuck, you’re so fucking lucky.”

“I can’t believe this. You’ve all been simping for Y/N? Couldn’t you find any other girl on campus? Not even you, Renjun?” Oh, Donghyuck was beyond amused. His ego had never been so high. Watching his friends admit they’re jealous of him made him feel like he was sitting on a throne and the rest of them were peasants, dressed in rags and bowing at his feet. It was just too good to be true.

“I still get girls, but Y/N’s nice to look at from time to time.” Renjun huffed, pushing up his glasses further along his nose bridge.

Jeno elbowed his shorter friend, “You’re saying that like coming to this match wasn’t your idea.”

“So what’s the deal?” Donghyuck asked, more intrigued than ever. “You guys want to fuck her too?”

All four of them fell silent. Even Jaemin paused midway through scrolling on TikTok at the thought of what Donghyuck said. Their eyes fell heavy. Some looked desperate, some hopeful, some guilty, and some curious.

Donghyuck was a good friend. He didn’t want to deprive his friends from you. But he wouldn’t let them touch you without making it a challenge. He definitely wasn’t going to let them take you away from him that easily, not when he just found out they think of him like a god for sleeping with you.

“Fine.”

Jaemin’s head bopped up as he curiously raised one of his brows. Mark licked his lips multiple times even though they were already wet. Jeno stuffed his hands into his back pockets and shifted the weight on his feet.

And Renjun narrowed his eyes at Donghyuck. “What’s the catch?”

“There’s no catch. Me and Y/N aren’t exclusive so you can still make a move on her if you want.” He drawled, getting too giddy. “But on one condition.”

“What is it?” Mark asked, a little too fast.

“We’ll make it a competition.”

When you first moved away from home to attend the college of your dreams, you hadn’t expected it to be as difficult as it was. On top of all of the course work, you had to scrounge around for a job to help pay for your tuition, as well as the required textbooks and additional add ons on top of that. Thankfully, you had been accepted to live at the college dorms provided and while it was nice not having to worry so much about paying bills at the time, it added to your tuition and you needed to be able to get by every day. It took a long, few months to get going, but you finally found a job at a small café just a few minutes’ walk from your college campus.

Of course, it didn’t pay the best, but it paid enough for you not to fall behind on tuition payments and buy yourself groceries each week. Plus, who doesn’t love being able to get free coffee? It was a job meant for college students and the owner was very sweet about letting the employees’ study or work on coursework as long as business was slow and the tasks that needed to be done were complete. While working, there was a regular that would come in every afternoon. You had his order memorized after the first two weeks and to top it off, he had the brightest smile and the most gorgeous chocolate brown eyes you had ever seen. He was polite and sweet and you could have sworn there were a few times where he was flirting with you. You only knew him as Seojoon, but that was enough for you to develop a little school-girl crush on him.
