Which fandom was/is worse?

Hetalia vs Country Humans

To be honest, Both Fandoms are pretty bad in their own ways. While the Hetalia Fandom has (mostly) calmed down from their bad habits, Country humans is still reigning as a popular fandom. Let me explain.

Each and every fandom has its ups and downs. I am a part of the Hetalia fandom currently, and I am entirely against of what it's done and sometimes cause of it's horrible past I'm ashamed to be in it. Back in the early 2010's, I've heard stories of cosplayers going to holocaust museums and saluting to h**ler as a strong political figure dressing as the axis powers which made me think... why? These people were probably 17 at the time (just inferring) and I was disgusted. I would wish to never defend these fans if I ever crossed paths with them. Hetalia was also shamed for its heavy Yaoi shippers with 80% of the cast being male, and is sometimes compared to by the MHA fandom or Genshin fandom, (which are both up-to-date horrible fandoms according to the anime/gaming community)

Hetalia fans are also known for being quite toxic which I've seen in a couple blogs, or just the people in it. Over the times, People began to leave the Hetalia fandom and to be honest, it made me quite glad. Hetalia is one of my favorite slice of life animes, I understand the idea of anthropic (i think thats how you spell it) countries is quite a weird idea but I was into it being a big history buff even before entering this fandom! I understand it'll have some haters and some people who love it as much as I do.

COUNTRYHUMANS

Now, I was a part of this fandom before reverting to Hetalia for about a month or two and oh my god. This is worse than the MHA fandom. The toxicity, the amount of nsfw art i've found out stick figures with countryball heads. It's disgusting. Most of this fandom range from SIX to FOURTEEN year olds according to google. I dont get the idea of countryhumans in the first place, adding a body to a countryball? It's really weird and the countryball fandom isn't out of it either. They're quite toxic as well, (ones I've met) but I do find the idea of countryballs quite funny! Ok, back to the topic. What I find most disgusting is people f**tishing n*zi's. It's fucking disgusting especially what they've done to the world.

They're shipping these characters out of free will because " the ship is cute " If you're going to ship a country at least make it understandable. Shipping countries like this, you can never be safe with, without adding history and good relations to your ship. Such as famous ones like Rusame and Ussrnaz?? (I suppose that's how you spell it) They both have horrible relations right now and it's something i'd never want to witness again, considering both of these countries are highly offensive in their own ways.

Not all Countryhuman or Hetalia fans are toxic, there are few people who just want to be in the fandom for a good time!

I could go on but i'm running out of time, I think theres a clear choice on who to pick. Please do NOT offend me in the comments for my opinions or SLANDER me, you will automatically be blocked. I do not mean to start any arguments. This is MY OPINION.

Rating Hetaloids (Hetalia x Vocaloid)

Remember your Vocaloid X Hetalia obsession? I'll be rating the Hetaloid's and how well their voice boxes were made. These are MY OPINONS. Please do not get offended

Italy/Veneizano: 6.5/10

Italy's Hetaloid was one I didn't favor, but I did like it more than the others. He had a higher pitched voice, and it harmonized better, specifically saying his Hetaloid was one of the more focused and studied ones in the entire Fandom as we're talking about Hetalia's mascot. It harmonizes well with Germany's hetaloid and Romano's hetaloid. Italy and Romano's hetaloid are very similar. Therefore, I rate it 6.5/10

Germany/Ludwig: 7.5/10

Germany's hetaloid was one I had the same feelings for Italy's. I prefer his more cause of the low tone that they use for him and how it balances out the other characters. It balances out well when used with Italy and Romano's cause of their higher pitched voices. When used with Japan, I disliked it only because two low pitches were being mixed. They sounded quite similar, but it wasn't a good harmony.

Japan/Kuro: 6/10

It was a rather boring voice to me. Although, it fits his character which I'll give props to that. Japan's voice is similar to Germany's, while Germany has a more aggressive and raspier tone in his voice. Japan's is calmer and quieter than Germany's. Not to say, his voice works really well with Prussia's hetaloid. It's really surprising but after finding a couple songs with their voices collaborate, I fell in love with the two singing together!!

Hetalia Ships I do NOT understand. (Focusing on Problematic, Toxic, and Historically wrong ships)

You guys like it when I talk about pairings.. So here I am again! There are many parings that makes ZERO sense, but I'm here to shout out the ships that I do not understand. This was NOT meant to offend anyone and your ships, you may ship what you want! Although these are ones I'm not fond of.

1. PruCan.

I've always had a problem with this ship and it's been my #1 hated ship in the Hetalia Fandom. I remember, a friend of mine is in love with this ship PruCan and it is her OTP. I have no problem with her liking it, I just never knew why. I was so angry and I went through some research, and I grabbed about two things. ONLY two canonical things about this ship which aren't even romantic. Not all ships are romantic but are usually romanticized. Apparently PruCan was created as a crack ship which spread throughout the internet as a joke, but was then taken seriously. I can understand a cute crack ship but I've never liked this one. The image above is the only canon interaction they've had when Himu had decided to launch the blogs! There was one thing that was said about Prussia being able to notice Canada which did get every ones hopes up. Even now, people are looking for clues everywhere. It's actually really funny in my opinion but maybe we'll get something?? Historical Hetalia doesn't even help make this ship better, I haven't looked much into the history of both countries but I'm not very interested in it anyways.

2. DenNor

I don't hate it, but I don't like it either. It's one of those ships you get an uneasy feeling about. DenNor has it's ups and downs, and it's downs are what I don't understand. The two are like brothers who have been through hardships together. Stop being weird funimation dub they aren't biological. It's the dynamic I never liked. Denmark and Norway are great as friends but I could never see them being romanticized. Sometimes Norway is abusive in the way he treats Denmark and for Denmark to lay back and accept it kind of gets on my nerve. Norway treats him like this to show that he doesn't care about Denmark, but deeply cares anyways. Denmark is a fun loving guy who just wants the best for his family and the nordics! (Then Again, the nordics are like one big happy family) The two are like yin and yang. They both work well together but are complete opposites.

RusLiet

Abusive. Unhealthy. Toxic. Do I need to say more? The worst out of all the ships I've put down. It's not that I don't get the ship, I don't get WHY people ship it. This ship makes Lithuania seen as a helpless, submissive whiny baby and Russia a crazed, lunatic sadist. They don't represent the countries well, not even canonically! RusLiet is probably one of your classmates kink and you don't know it! History looks down on this ship as something so shameful I'd actually say, Hmm maybe PruCan wasn't so bad and I hate PruCan! I canonically do like how Hetalia represents the two together and not as a romanticized relationship.

Hetalia X Squid Game

I had one of my friends place Hetalia Characters into which section of minigames the character would lose in. Take note she knows nothing about Hetalia. She just looked at their designs and went, " ew he's ugly. " What disappointed me most is that Spain, Netherlands and Lithuania had gotten so low on the list it kind of pissed me off.

I can't say I'm mad, I'm just really disappointed.

Hetalia CANON Couples (Hetalia Debunks PART TWO)

Welcome to Part two! I promised this a LONG ago and never posted one so here I am again!

Ameliet: (Debatable)

I have a friend who LOVES Ameliet to the point it's her OTP. @pinosilky found many context clues, but all of this is older content 2011< so I'm not sure if Hima is really continuing the strong bond between the two.

After Lithuania gained independence from Russia, Lithuania felt relieved to work for America since Lithuania sees him as a " Serious, dependable fellow " in the manga. This goes the same for Romano which Romano did work for him but that was a year or a couple more after Lithuania started working for America. It shows Lithuania admires him, and would do anything to take care of America.

America on the other hand has literally called Lithuania " His Bride " but that says nothing. America enjoys Lithuania's company and is also said to love smaller countries history's, backstories, and basically about themselves. I don't really like this ship, well I do but I'm not as fond of it as I am fond of other. It is one of the healthiest hetalia couples in the whole Manga. (In My Opinion)

EDIT SINCE THIS TOOK 2 MONTHS??: I do actually love this ship a lot! It just isn't a favorite!

AusHun: (Technically Canon??)

Aushun is an adorable ship, I do like it but as I said for a lot of ships I'm not crazy about it. Hungary is quite open about liking Austria, and shows that her more human feelings still has a crush on Austria despite them divorcing after Austria-Hungary had fallen. Hungary acts like a maid towards Austria, and cleans his house without Austria even knowing which I find funny, You can find this in the OVA of the world twinkle (I think its season 5)

Austria. I had to look into the manga once more to find any romantic feelings or connections toward the two and I did find one! Austria wanted to give Hungary a certain gift, but the catch was Austria had to strip his clothes off to get it free instead of an incredibly high price, and guess who was selling it (totally not France) Austria literally stripped so Hungary could have the gift she rightfully deserved for valentines day. If that ain't dedication I don't know what is.
