so uni!student gunwook and reader playing genshin impact after their classes on a picnic blanket outside 🫶🏼😭 gyuvin and ricky come over to make fun of reader constantly dying mid-battle

i feel like ricky would also offer commentary on how gunwook explores sumeru

(this is so off topic but I'm up at 7am to watch the fantasy boys finale and I can't even watch it I am screaming)

I'm just gonna drop some thoughts (albeit vague ones) for right now but I'll probably write something about this in a few days or so after I've done my research lol forgive me 💀

your newly bought snacks were long forgotten on the blanket infront of you as the both of you were so drawn into your game. it wasn't until you had heard the opening of the chip bags sat next to you that you looked up, only to die once again. this had repeated multiple times, the noisy plastic bag ruining your focus every time gunwook reached for a handful of chips, journeying through the area with ease. you definitely hadn't expected him to be this good, his humble bragging bearing it's new meaning, as you died again. a few minutes (and deaths) later, gyuvin and ricky walk up behind the both of you, gyuvin harshly criticizing your gameplay, and ricky repeatedly updating you on gunwooks every move. it wasn't long until you were being coached by the both of them, gyuvin taking your phone multiple times to save you from dying once more, only to return it to you when you're in a completely different area, with no knowledge of where you are. shortly after he had gotten you lost for the third time, the both of you had decided to retire your games for the day, the four of you now sharing the almost-gone snacks. "Jeonghan! I wasn't done!" you tell, turning around to turn the lights back on, hearing him let out a loud laugh. He turns around, moving back to the bathroom, a smile still plastered on his face. Wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his head on your shoulder, looking into the mirror. You finish brushing your teeth, turning around to hug him back.

Jumping up in a panic from your alarm that has been going off for a few minutes already, you realize your panic is stopped short by the arms locked around your waist. You calm down, seeing the ring on his pinky. Turning your alarm off, you lay back down, breathing in the faint smell of his cologne. It's so early, why do I have an alarm set for 6 anyways? I must've forgotten to turn it off. You think to yourself. Both of you have today off, and it's your (unplanned) lazy day.

"Are you gonna stop staring at me?" Jun mutters, having just woken up. You shake your head, laughing in response. He pulls you closer, laughing as well.

You heard the front door close as Wonwoo took off his shoes, sighing lightly. You were in the kitchen making him some food for when he got home, since you know he didn't eat after practice.

You felt his hands on your waist, a thing he didn't do often, slowly moving his hands to wrap around you completely.

"How was practice?" You say as you let out a breath at the unexpected affection. He hums as an answer, responding shortly after.

"Tiring, but good. How was your day?" He asks, kissing your cheek as you turn off the stove, plating the food. Wonwoo turns you around, placing more kisses on your face, on your head, wherever he can reach.

You hum in response, accepting all of his affection with open arms, your eyes closed in relaxation. Wonwoo looks at you, excited to hear about your day.

"My day was really long," you murmur. "it's better now that you're here. do you wanna eat?" He responds with a nod, but he doesn't loosen his grip around you. He holds you tighter, actually. You look up at him, confused.

"I just wanna stay here a little longer," Wonwoo says as his hands start moving up and down your back and waist. you hear him humming a song quietly, the habit becoming comforting to you.

You hear a quiet laugh, as he turns away from the mirror and mumbles a "thank you" while looking at the ground. One question always lingers after he gets embarrassed from any compliment.

Do you tease him about it? Of course.

The red color blended into his cheeks, and how quiet he is, definitely tells you that he's embarrassed by the small compliment. How cute.

"Are you blushing?" you laugh softly, and wonwoo shakes his head. "You're so cute."

Wonwoo looks further away from you, a small smile evident on his red face. Turning his face away from you showed you that the embarrassment spread onto his ears, too.

"Won, your ears are red." you take a step closer to him, grabbing his hands.

"I know," you hear him say, shyly. He's takes a step, too, wrapping his arms around you and slowly moving closer to your bed. You laugh, asking him what he's doing. Cuddles, he says. He drags you onto the bed, wrapped up in his arms.

You feel a soft kiss on the crown of your head, followed by another, and another, and another, until you are being held tightly, and being peppered with kisses by the same person who couldn't show you his face less than five minutes ago.

Wonwoo always finds it adorable that no matter what position you both fall asleep in, he still manages to wake up with you in his arms, curled up into his chest. Planting a soft kiss on the top of your head, he started to loosen his grip on you to get breakfast started. This was one of the rare days where you both had an empty schedule and got to spend your time together. You start tossing and turning, beginning to wake up. After noticing that wonwoo is gone, and smelling the freshly cooked food coming from the kitchen, you head down trying to find him.

You wrapped your arms around his bare waist, planting a few soft kisses on his back every now and then. He turns off the stovetop, moving the last pancake off the pan. Turning around, he looks down at you and picks you up, setting you down on the counter, he himself following in suit. This was a routine at this point, one of you getting up to get/make breakfast, the other getting up a little later, and eating on the counter, neglecting the table in the next room. Neither of you were very talkative when you fist woke up but there was always some conversation and "good mornings" between you once you were done.
