1) Arthur is from a promo pic from The Eye of the Phoenix. Link to pic (7th row, 4th from left) Merlin is from promo shot. Not sure which season. 3 or 4 I'd say, judging from Colin's face. I can't pintpoint it. I don't have access to my Merlin folder, and searching on site takes too long. But it's a promo shot. Season 2 (5th row from bottom, 1st from left) The golden eyes, sword and title have been addded by the fan (I guess the "royalprat" is their signature so user @royalprat?)

the way merthur goes from grumpy (arthur) x sunshine (merlin) in season one to grumpy (merlin) x sunshine (arthur) in season five is. sad.

idk, but arthur really seems to flourish with merlin at his side, seems to find happiness and self-worth and meaning. meanwhile merlin is being weighed down by the ever heavier weight of destiny, and the stress of knowing that somehow all of his actions are doing nothing against the inevitable fate of arthur, while still desperately trying to change it. whereas at the start of the series arthur was the spoilt, arrogant, secretly insecure bully and merlin was the beaming, carefree friend who was always there to try and help.

Luckily I don't have reason to wear skirts anymore (size + opportunity + who the hell wants to bother with stockings). But my fave (IDK if I still can fit in it) is a skirt like the one in pic 2 (but in elastic satin) and it was so much fitting that the lining was put under pressure (I wore it for restaurant so sitting for hours) and the stitches to the bottom edge gave up *ah ah* But it was a high-brand fashion (so good quality) and bought more than 10 years ago, so I think the lining was to be expected. I haven't looked at skirts recently, but I would be very disappointed if I didn't find lining. I admit I bought a low-medium quality coat last year and I was on the fence of buying because it didn't have the lining (mom convinced me, even though she's very knowledgeable about fbrics and clothes costructions, she's the one to noticed the details such as the inner seams of a coat covered with trimming)

Sorry, long text just to say that I just wanted to point out how an additional underskirt is a poor replacement for what should be standard included, not just a matter of more money to spend. :)

It's incredible how people have been protesting pants and skirts not having pockets but not a single peep is heard over the fact that skirts no longer have underskirts by default. Underskirts (or lining) was a thing when I was a child, no skirt would be made without lining, you didn't have to think and check if your whole ass is visible in a skirt because lining was a thing!!!! Now most skirts don't and it's simply because it's cheaper, fuck the fact that a customer doesn't want their panties shown in broad daylight, it saves a couple of cents on material.
