Love being totally creatively burnt out and being unable to draw or write basically anything and being super uninterested in most of the things I was obsessed… so fun.

But hey, I finally finished a single piece after literally working on it for months (by that I mean for like an hour for like 4 days a month for several months). Didn’t help that I’ve been having wrist and hand pain that makes it very uncomfortable to draw or write for long periods anyways….

Anyways, this is inspired by my current Dnd campaign. Our dog is an alived bush and we love him.

My 11k "mini" Bang fic for the DGHDA 2023 event is posted! It's great, just to toot my own horn a bit.

Summary:

Todd finds Dirk after Riggins confronts him at the Ridgely building at the end of 1x03, and unknowingly helps him calm down. And a somewhat parallel scene after the end of the S2 case where Todd and Dirk are resting at Hobbs’ house and take comfort with each other.

Chapter 3 is up!

Tina and Todd talk at a diner about the mouse man soul and get barely anything done.

Excerpt

"Stop drooling on the table."

"StOp drOolinG oN thE taBle. Meh meh meh, I’m a big dumb frog," she mimicked, absolutely not accurately at all.

“You’re so stupid,” he said, unable to keep himself from soundly at least 5% fond of her stupid antics.

Todd leaned back against the booth, cracking his neck joints. Tina lifted a tired middle finger at him, and then deliberately opened her mouth and let another stream of saliva dribble out and add to the slimy puddle. Todd ignored it. Tina was only acting out because she wanted attention. He pressed his lips into a tight line before tapping on Hobbs' contact in his phone again. There was more shuffling and squeaking beside him and Todd waved a hand to his side trying to quiet it.

"Come on, Hobbs. Pick up your stupid phone." It rang out three and a half times before going to Hobbs' voicemail, his greeting way too cheery for Todd’s already irritated mood. Todd had already left four messages, leaving another at the beep, much less patient than his previous messages, which was saying something because he hadn’t started with much patience in the first place.

Despite having written an 8k fic on the idea, I still couldn’t get Plumber!Steve and dumbstruck, horny brain Eddie out of my head, and just had to draw this. (This is probably my favorite Eddie I’ve drawn. His dumb face is great.)

"You're an actual plumber."

The man's frown deepened, now looking less like he was in the wrong place, but more like he thought Eddie was the stupidest man he'd ever talked to. And Eddie was kind of into it. Like in a bitchy mean girl kind of way.

"Yes… what gave it away?" he said sarcastically, a hand settling on his hip.

"Sorry," Eddie laughed lightly and shook his head, running a hand through his hair. "I work nights and my brain is still like 90 percent asleep right now.” He blinked at the guy blearily, giving a pointed yawn. “Plus, you don't exactly look like the typical plumber."

The man looked down at himself and then back up at Eddie, raising his eyebrow. “Oh, really? And what’s a typical plumber look like?” He smirked.

Eddie leaned his head back, narrowing his eyes as he looked up at the ceiling. “Uh, I don’t know, man. Middle aged bald dude with half their ass crack hanging out?”

The guy laughed, like an actual genuine laugh, and shook his head, smiling at Eddie.

“Well, sorry to disappoint. But I can assure you, I’m just as qualified to handle your pipes as those other guys.”

Steddie Fic. A self-indulgent mostly PWP. The only reason that this exists is because my brain cursed me with the image of Plumber! Skin lightly tanned, freckled with moles, delicately coiffed hair, broad shoulders and thick biceps that Eddie wanted wrapped around his thighs, and those pink, soft lips. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

The man, who had also been awkwardly quiet for the who knows how long it’d been since Eddie opened the door, recovered first, clearing his throat.

"Uh, g-good… morning. I'm... I’m here to check your pipes?"

Eddie choked on nothing, blinking in horny surprise. What the fuck did he wake up into? Or no, was he awake? This was one of those sexy dreams he always got when it’d been too long since he’d had a hook up. Like literally, this guy could be an actor in a cheesy gay porno. Eddie could almost hear the twang of the sex music echoing in his ears.

"What?" Eddie managed to rip a response out of his throat.

Summary:

Todd Brotzman died. It sucked, but also his life kinda sucked. Made sense that dead end jobs led to his literal... dead end.

What he wasn't expecting was the job offer after he died. He gets to stick around and all he's got to do is snatch up some souls? It's not the best job, doesn't pay anything, but he'd do anything to be able to keep an eye on his sister, especially now that her brother had died and left her basically alone.

And the reaping isn't so bad. It's steady and consistent. At least until one of his marks proves especially difficult to pin down.

A Titanic Steddie AU

I got to thinking about Jack and Rose and how the poor artist who just happens to make it on the ship and the upper class child of parents that need them to marry to keep up their lifestyle that meet and fall in love would be a delicious opportunity to stick Eddie and Steve into those roles. Like Eddie noticing Steve running to the back of the ship after a disaster of a dinner where his parents can’t help but pick and prod at his failures and shortcomings and how they only need him for this marriage and he can’t do it, and just stands at the railing wondering if he can take that step, and Eddie shows up and talks him down, helps him back over the railing after he nearly slips and it kickstarts a whirlwind romance that ultimately ends in tragedy as we know. Someone on Instagram asked if they’d be smart enough to both get on the door, but they’re both self-sacrificial assholes so you know they’d both end up freezing to death after arguing to get the other one on the door. I’m just very into the vibes of this, and I love how the center pic came out.
