as many of you know, gaza has now gone dark.

targeted israeli strikes have wiped out the telecommunications infrastructure. phone lines and internet services are gone. gazans cannot call their loved ones to check if they are still alive. they cannot call for ambulances for aid. if they survive the increased bombardment tonight and the following nights, they will bleed out alone with no aid.

now i will tell you what will happen in the next few days/weeks, and i pray it to be untrue. unfortunately the apartheid state, also known as israel, has been quite obvious and transparent with their plans.

the stated goal of many politicians over the years from israel, including netanyahu, has been to have the entire strip of land of gaza as israel, with no separate region for palestinians. i am not going to provide links, google is free and i am fucking tired.

what they had done before tonight, in the last two weeks, was destroy over 50% of buildings in gaza city as well as neighbouring areas, so gazans have nowhere to return to. gazans have been forced south, and israel will use this opportunity to have troops in north gaza (currently referred to as the ground invasion) advancing south while bombing "h*mas sites" in the south. israel will do this knowing there are plenty more civilians there that will die, causing terror and panic and having palestinians want to flee to anywhere, anywhere that is safe.

israel is doing this in the hopes that this panic and terror will convince egypt to open the border (well, the border israel isn't currently bombing) so that palestinians can escape to the sinai desert in egypt.

once survivors leave, the area that is currently the gaza strip will 1) be reduced in size if a lot of palestinians stay, should they not be bombed out of existence, or 2) be entirely absorbed into israel if very few palestinians stay, which is the ultimate aim of israel. those remaining palestinians will be moved to the west bank, or the remainder of gaza will be converted to west bank conditions where they'd go through the same problems palestinians in the west bank go through (reduced access to water, checkpoints to go from any place to any place within their own land, getting dispossessed, or randomly killed by racist extremist settlers).

now, egypt has been adamant not to displace the palestinians. in online discourse, people have been dehumanising palestinians by talking about past disruptions in other refugee areas and saying that is why egypt does not want to take them. while there may be slight truth to this from egypt's perspective, the major reason egypt is refusing is that no palestinian refugee abroad has even been given the right to return to their own land. and this will be the fate of gazans if they are made to leave in a mass exodus to egypt/other neighbouring countries such as jordan, which these leaflets from israel are threatening gazans to do.

therefore, what i likely see happening is the above bombardment (in increased numbers now that gaza has gone dark) -> mass panic in gaza, more so now that gazans are cornered in the south -> a reluctant egypt, but with the US will promise a large amount of "aid" money to egypt to facilitate the mass exodus of palestinians, the borders will open.

palestinians will be forced out. israelis are already planning on hoovering up the prime real estate there, for amusements park no less!

this is nabka 2.0. this is genocide.

btw, as we speak: israel's leading newspaper is already making claims that h*mas's main operation base is under shifa hospital. the hospital currently housing 50,000 displaced palestinians. the idf is claiming h*mas is using the hospital as a human shield, which is their new favourite phrase to justify killing civilians. so you already know what to expect in the news.

TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. These are images of Gaza Strip from an HOUR AGO. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak.

Please I need to see y’all talking about this and being loud for Palestine. Your anime yaoi twink hyperfixation will still be here tomorrow but literally thousands of innocent people may not.

Nearly 4 years ago I painted this to work through the horror of witnessing 34 Palestinians murdered by israeli bombs and tens of thousands displaced in only two days, while being surrounded by utter indifference and silence from my uni mates and society. What is happening now exceeds the bounds of horror, I truly have never felt so utterly hollow. I dont understand how i can be in the midst of such depravity and evil, yet the world remains the same. People go about their day as usual, others are too cowardly to even send an email to condemn the one thing everyone had agreed one was wrong; genocide. But people here want history books to make the decisions for them. I know tomorrow we will wake up to no news, because there is no internet anymore, or to the news of thousands of more murdered Palestinians. I have no more respect for the people around me

Israel died NOT care about its own citizens. Wiping out entire Palestinian families and bloodlines is more important to them. Displacing/killing millions of Palestinians so that Israel is free to take Gaza and turn it into more Israeli cities is more important to them.

The injured and dying and those who were healing can’t properly be treated.

they’re running out of gauze, they ran out of anesthesia (people have had to get stitches, or worse, surgeries without it), they’re unable to treat burn victims, they’ve ran out of most of the supplies needed to treat people, while hundreds are dying and getting injured on a daily basis.

And this isn’t even addressing the fact that less hospitals exist now, hospitals are being targeted, and the people are unable to clean themselves due to lack of running water or working toilets, which means risks of infection and spread of disease is high because a lot of people no longer have homes and are having to take refuge in hospitals.

Oh, and they’ve just went out and said that the so called “20 trucks of humanitarian aid” they were supposed to receive (the ones that were supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago if it weren’t for the bombing and threats and bullshit politics while people are literally dying) HAVE NOT been received and the Palestinians haven’t been able to access them.

Sharing the very real footage of Israeli hostages explaining how they were treated well and in a humane way in Gaza by Hamas, and revealing that Israel initially refused to accept the return of those hostages (despite Hamas having not asked for anything in return for those people specifically) is a big no no and means you support terrorism

Sharing the Israel’s military defence and prime minister’s own discriminatory and dehumanizing words about Gaza and Palestinians, is a big no no and means you support terrorism.

Yeah, a terrorist barbaric organization treats its hostages in a humane way, while Israel has thousands of Palestinians in prison including hundreds of children, many without trial, being exposed to torture and starvation on a daily basis. While Israel has slaughtered over 2000 children in the last 2 weeks and bombed a hospital.

The racism and genocide rhetoric jumped out. There is no hiding it. This person just forgot to include “savages” in the comment.

But by the way, this person isn’t wrong. This is the golden opportunity for Israel to kill all Palestinians or permanently force them out of their homes, and they’re doing just that. They get to for the first time actually own all the land of Palestine and end any chance of Israel ever becoming Palestine.

It’s why they’re committing genocide, it’s why they’re continuing to dehumanize Palestinians, it’s why they’re pushing for Egypt to take all the Gazans, and it’s why they’re targeting hospitals, churches, and mosques.

They want the land, and they want Palestinians permanently out of that land. The Nakba has never ended and remains ongoing. They don’t care how many innocents die, nor about their own civilians as hostages.

But guess what? That’s not gonna happen. Because we’re gonna keep fighting and resisting. Bevause we have bravery, but more importantly we have faith. Something they lack and have always lacked.
