you know who really is hades and persephone? rhysand's parents. he falls for her the moment he sees her because of the mating bond and decides to take her away then and there. he is roughly 900 years her senior, the lord of the land, his seat is under the mountain. he lavishes this young girl with gifts and affection, makes her his wife, his queen, the mother of his children, none of these decisions under her control. and ultimately she cannot live where he does. he builds his persephone a garden, gives her a house in velaris, but she wants to be home in illyria, and every year she leaves him to go back to where she came from, to spend as much time as she can with her family and with her people before he inevitably takes her away again.

First Betty leaves before it starts then Bob Saget but this is too far! Our beloved take out place who basically made these last two years bearable is now closing because their building got bought and they’re being forced out. WTF. So if y’all need me I’ll be stuffing my face with Stromboli for the last time and stocking new recipes because apparently I have to cook now.

But seriously though they were always so kind, never a sad or angry voice always picked up with a happy greeting and a smile upon delivery. They were attaching adoption flyers for a local cat shelter to every take out order to help find cats homes. They were community involved and it’s a great loss. It’s made even worse because it’s not because they were losing business but because their new building owner is probably demolishing the business center where they are for new F-ing apartments. That’s the last thing we need.

Right so I’ve had night terrors since I was little however, they’ve gotten significantly better since to the point they’re practically non-existent. Well I had one last night. A jumble of dreams then I woke up to something demonic above me let out a scream which NOTE if you wear a mouth guard to bed it will muffle your scream. Then it vanished and Tanq abandoned me so thanks Tanq.

Anyways I fall back asleep and then when I get up naturally I go downstairs and tell my mom. Who’s face turns pale and says “so did I, but I don’t remember anything except someone trying to stop it before I woke up.”

Freaky enough until Gram gets up and comes downstairs and I have to ask. “No, but funny you should mention it because I did have a nightmare which I never dream I don’t remember anything except something bad was after me. Why?” I tell her and her response was “I don’t care how good that show is no more Archive 81!”

So yeah she’s got a point, and I’ve binged two horror books over the weekend but it’s still weird right?

Being ADHD and being nearsighted is not a good combination because as I took my contacts out for the night I noticed a hangnail on my thumb and proceeded to pick at it a little so I could clip it and was halfway to my room removed my hands from the front of my face and instantly became blind as a bat and it was at that point I realized I forgot to finish my original task of removing my contacts and putting on my glasses. I now realize how I managed to always forget my glasses as a kid.

I started the spring semester this week and we have presentations ever class starting on Tuesday to explain the material from last class. I said F it and put myself for Tuesday first presentation. I may regret it but at least it’ll be done and over with and I completely understand yesterday’s material better do it while I know it and give myself and entire weekend to make a PowerPoint than wait and piss my pants in stress later in the semester when I got four essays and two quizzes due.

There are so few good shows on now a days. I’m binging Cold Case (2003) third time. Just started Season 2, instantly I recognized the murder scene because it was a call back to the very first episode where we meet Lilly Rush shes at a crime scene and it’s the exact crime scene!!! I need to know if they planned this. This was one of my top five favorite crime shows.

I’m tell you there is nothing like this show anymore. Could you imagine what this show would be like today? Especially with genetic genealogy? Ugh sorry my science love is coming out. Seriously though I missed this show.
