Hello, sorry to bother you, I actually don't write to other tumblr accounts a lot so I don't know exactly how it works. I have found your simblr recently and I really wanted to ask you how do you get the water of Zabudkov to look like that? I already have Gwenke's Ocean Surface Recolors, and Voeille's water mod, but my sea water doesn't look like yours. I would love to know what mods you use. Also, I love your simblr and you have a beautiful sense of aesthetic!! Thank you for your time, Cate

Hi, thank you for the compliment, it always makes me happy when I hear people like my stuff💕

As for the water, you mean specifically for Zabudkov? I made my own recolor of the surface deco, shifted the hue more towards blue and set the opacity to about 60% I think, to make it more transparent. I don't remember exactly, but I think I also used a blur filter, just i tiny bit.

I also use ld's Sims2RPC, it has an option to make hood water reflective, without using a pool tile and more importantly, without the glitchy reflection.

Other than that, a bunch of my lots are lake houses that started as ordinary lots and I turned them into beach houses later with the Lot Adjuster. It makes the water look slighly different.

So I loaded the game after what feels like forever, fully expecting it to crash on me. And it didn't, surprisingly.
